GenuineMC Semi-Vanilla [1.18.1] Minecraft Server

GenuineMC is a Semi-Vanilla server that is ran by the community! We have attracted individuals of various ages and nationalities who have found themselves at home on our server. Their voices have helped shape our community and have helped us to move forward as a Minecraft Server. Their voices have allowed GenuineMC to become what it is today!

As a team, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for new and current players. We also strive to meet the needs of every player and to listen to their personal comments about our community. We utilize input provided by our players to expand and improve upon the overall playing experience. This forward-thinking approach has resulted in the member base that has extended across the entirety of our server’s timeline, from both past and present, and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.

Semi-Vanilla is essentially Minecraft, but with heighten aesthetics. We add plugins that either add special effects or help improve previously existing mechanics, but don’t take away from the genuine Minecraft experience. That means you can join our server and utilize none of our plugins, while still having a fun and wholesome experience playing the game.

In terms of plugins, we have administrative ones that help us run our server like Essentials and Grief Prevention. We also have ones for the players that add to the game like Marriage or Mob Heads. When you join our server, you can choose to use these plugins to leave them be. It’s all up to you on how you want to play the game.

Active Discord:
Our Discord is active almost 24/7. Joining the voice call is, of course, not required but it is highly encouraged and adds a ton to the server experience. We’re a friendly bunch and always open to meeting new people.

Diverse Community:
We’ve got players from the United States, Europe, Central America, etc. Everyone is treated equally (for better or worse) and nobody will care what you identify as or who you are attracted to.

Free Speech:
You will not be punished for having an opinion or making a joke. Criticizing staff, criticizing the server, voicing your opinions, etc., is allowed and encouraged. We don’t take things personally, provided you’re not actively causing problems.

Vanilla Experience:
The server runs with minimal plugins. We use CoreProtect to mitigate griefing and theft, and a few plugins to manage lag (nothing that will break your farms) and facilitate server management. There are no teleports, no land claims, no economy plugins, nothing that will subtract from vanilla gameplay. We do have the Realistic Seasons plugin to add some variety, but this can be disabled easily by the player.

Democracy:
Almost all major decisions pertaining to the server are left to a vote. Map resets, staff appointments, rule changes, etc., are all left to a vote. Feedback is always welcome and sincere feedback is taken seriously.

Creative Server:
Prototype builds and have fun with full access to game-mode commands, WorldEdit commands, VoxelSniper commands, and more on our creative server! Build Battles and other competitions are hosted regularly on the creative server.

Competent Staff:
All staff members are over 18, experienced, and generally friendly. Moderators and administrators do not power trip and will promptly removed from the staff team if they do. If you have any problems, we will solve them quickly and completely.

No P2W:
There are no donation roles, buyable cosmetics, or anything like that. You will never be solicited for money and categorically do not accept donations of any kind. The point of the server is to have fun and make friends, not to be profitable.

Server Rules:
Griefing and theft are forbidden. CoreProtect is used to enforce this.
Hacks, x-ray, and glitches are forbidden. TNT, carpet, & rail duping are permitted.
Spam and excessive self-promotion are forbidden. This includes mic-spam.
Discord TOS violations will result in a ban from our Discord.
Sexually-explicit content is forbidden.
Employ basic social etiquette in the VC.

Welcome to New Horizons!

We are a semi-vanilla Minecraft server that focuses very much on our community. New Horizons started at the beginning of June. We are a community-oriented server with a love for the vanilla aspect of Minecraft.

We focus on bringing the players together with community events, contests, and even movie nights! We are an open and accepting community that strive for our players to feel safe and free of any harassment, trolling, or toxicity. We use a whitelist and application system to ensure that those joining are coming into a safe and friendly environment.

New Year, New Season!

In the new year of 2022 New Horizons is embarking on a new journey starting completely fresh with a brand new world! If you want to be part of this exciting new start from the moment it launches, now is your chance. Season 2 of New Horizons opens in 1.18 on the 7th of January 2022!

New Concept:

The New Horizons Server has always and will always be an SMP Server. We use Plugins to help enhance the player experience, however, nothing game-breaking ultimately making us a Semi-Vanilla server.

For the second season of our server we are adapting a completely new concept onto the SMP server.

The Overworld – There is a border surrounding the spawn point that has been set out on the server. We are currently building a main road together, that will lead west, towards the expansion. What’s the expansion? Well, the expansion is the direction in which the border will gradually expand west. The border will reveal more land to explore constantly!

The Nether – Will not be the main way of travel. There will be a few community portals, but the main way to get around will be the Overworld. Of course we do allow and encourage players to build in the Nether as well!

About Us:
BAIT Gaming is a small, in development, server based in Central Minnesota. Our aim is to make a fun server for both players and staff, and to develop a sense of community for those a part of it. At the moment we only have two games up and running, those being Skyblock and SMP, as we want to put quality over quantity though we do plan on expanding this in the future. Incremental Clicker game in MineCraft

– You are given your own island where you can mine special blocks.
– For starters, every mined block gets you 1 gold. In order to speed up your progress you can upgrade your Pickaxe and hire workers that do the job for you. By upgrading your workers you increase their income rate.
– There are also upgrades that you can do to your island which give a variety of perks such as worker efficiency increase or an additional Pickaxe.
– When you’ve made enough gold you can unlock a new island which gives you an increase to global gold multiplier and new island upgrades.
– You workers work even when you’re offline.

ElytraForce Minigames is looking for playtesters!

What is ElytraForce Minigames and what makes why do you need playtesters?

ElytraForce is a relatively new network that is based around offering NEW minigames to players and providing a unique experience! However, in order to playtest and balance these minigames, we need playtesters.

Ok, so what are some of these unique minigames you claim to have?

ElytraForce has a variety of minigames planned / currently in operation, some of which include:

ElytraForce – A fast paced elytra based combat gamemode where two teams battle it out in the skies above using lasers, rockets, cannons, plasma swords, and evade each others’ attacks using their Booster Systems!

RailgunRoyale – A battle royale gamemode revolving around explosive weapons known as Railguns! Destroy your enemies with explosive firepower and tactically outplay them with our 40+ railguns and 16+ explosive grenade types and be the last one standing!

Duels (Currently being recoded, still playable) – A strategic gamemode where two players fight using magic spells and powerful guns!

SandBox – An evolution to the classic Creative Plots gamemode, this sub-server of our network allows players their own personal worlds where they are free to test out different guns, mobs from DungeonRaids (currently under rework), build, create, and have free reign. It is also currently under rework, and planned features include limited World Edit and GoPaint Brush for those playtesters who are creative 🙂

DungeonRaids (UNDER CONSTRUCTION) – An extension of MobArena where instead of fighting an endless swarm of monsters, you clear out maps filled with unique and custom monsters, taking back the world Region by Region, sometimes slaying bosses.

Trouble In Traitor Town (Playable, due for a recode) – A minigame based off the popular Garry’s Mod game type, this game is less gun your opponents down and more of find out who the sneaky backstabbing Traitor is! Players are armed with guns and sent out into the world, but not everyone is your ally, as some of the players are selected as Traitors.

(NEW) ZoneConquest – An extremely fast pased class shooter inside of Minecraft where you must capture and hold ZONEs! Defend your zone with magic and gunpowder, utilizing the Assault, Scout, Grapple, Suppressor, Swarmer, Swordsman, and many more classes, each with a distinct playstyle that offsets that of the others!

Lobby Parkour (Not really a true minigame) – Infinite parkour which rewards you money and level XP!

TavernCraft was first founded by a group of friends who were interested in playing minecraft together in their own private world, where they could customise their own minecraft experience. Overtime, the server was made public to share our work and creation with like-minded players who are looking to join in on the fun. Since then, TavernCraft has gradually grown into a budding community of friendly players who come together to have fun.

Today, TavernCraft is a medieval themed server that currently supports the survival and skywars gamemode from 1.9 to 1.15.2. Plans are in place to introduce skyblock since we achieved an all time high of 56 players online. The staff team has put in immense effort to setup the server, ensuring that it is friendly and enjoyable for both new and old players alike! After closing last year due to financial reasons, we realized immediately that if we were ever in the financial position to reopen, we would. And that’s exactly what happened here. We’re back, and better than ever.

Our server is primarily survival. We put a lot of focus in the vanilla survival aspect of the game. We want to make sure that if you want to play only vanilla, no fancy bells and whistles, you can.

However, we also have a lot of extra elements added for those who want more. Of course, there’s the usual:
