Why join?
The world was created in February 2024 and is very new.
This allows all players who join to have plenty of room to explore and
create whatever they can imagine. We like to include all of our members
in activities such as building and mining contests or any future
community events. Should you decide to join Gladden here’s some of the
stuff you’d experience;
We also have various plugins and datapacks to improve quality of
life. Some of them are 1 player sleep, anti grief for numerous mobs,
AFK, Discord to MC chat and fast leaf decay.

If you’d like to join you must go through a whitelisting process and fill out an
application. We are looking for the most engaging players we can find.
Please note we may not accept every application.
Unfortunately, if you are super young (under 16) this server isn’t for you.
The server doesn’t ask you to be amazing at Minecraft, but we do expect you
to want to be a part of a community and part of the discord: Willing to

Please don’t feel pressured by “the standard”. This is a great community, and
we just want to ensure people joining don’t exploit the kindness and
generosity of our existing, and generous players.
GladdenMC is considered a safe space and welcomes all players regardless of gender
identity, race, religion, etc. No griefing, stealing, bullying,
insulting, discrimination of any kind, or prejudiced behavior is
tolerated. Toxic behavior is not welcome.
Earth:
➤ TerraQuest currently has a 1:1500 world of the entire Earth! Something that we plan to upgrade/expand in the future to lower ratios.
Towny:
➤ We also currently have the towny plugin on our server allowing for thing such as countries forming, nations and even empires!
Politics:
➤ Currently players are able to elect a government or a president allowing for fair and regulated elections! Wars are also enabled meaning nations can go to war with other nations to potentially take land or valuables from other nations!
Economy:
➤ Our economy is based on trading outposts that are positioned around the map that players must venture and make their way towards to sell/buy items. Currently a trading outpost has been established in all major continents and major areas.
Active Staff:
➤ We have an extremely dedicated staff team as of now who try there absolute best to help with problems and disputes. We have made use of Discord and other means to offer a quick and easy report system that will be followed through with fairness and patience.
Active World Events:
Currently TerraQuest has 3 active world events that will occur either daily or hourly.
➤ Firstly we have a airdrop system that once every 2-3 hours will drop and broadcast an airdrops with items only found in said airdrops inside. These airdrops have a timer of 3-5 minutes depending on rarity before opening, this is too allow other players to come from around the world just to contest these airdrops and potentially steal or steal loot from other players.
➤ Secondly we offer a KoTH minigame where players will contest a certain spot for a certain time, winning this will grant the King of The Hill a KoTH key which can be used to gain exclusive items!

Does anyone miss Towny? I do, I miss the good old towny but I have also always felt like towny could be so much more.
For too long now I have had this idea I have not yet pursued for a Minecraft server where one player could be King or Queen of the entire server. I have always wondered how this would work. How could we make a server where players create the role-play themselves and allow them to climb the levers of power, who doesn’t love UNLIMiITEeD PoOWErRR? However, we want to make sure it is still Minecraft and for those who don’t want their bases ruined or be in the middle of PvP, we also want to cater to them.
Not familiar with Towny? Towny will provide the claim protection so your builds and bases are safe, this plugin makes players bond together and work towards building a small little community within the server.
Most of the game will be like a normal survival playthrough with a few added twists, mainly the economy and war features. Diamonds generate 2x less on the server as they are a form of currency. This currency will be able to be used in our player-run marketplace where players can build and sell items from.
War will be how players can earn the crown. Every two weeks we will host a war event, this event will allow towns and nations to battle each other for geo-political dominance. Depending on the style of the war, whoever is the leader of the town or nation that prevails on top will be crowned King or Queen (player’s choice of title) of the server for two weeks. How you rule is up to you (staff will have a hands-off approach outside the extent of the rules). Wars are not required, if you wish to be a peaceful town then you may do so. ALL war events will have griefing off. These will be PvP Opt-in events only. We want to cater to all people so there is no requirement whatsoever to be a part of this system. However, there are some nice incentives! The King of the Server has extremely powerful commands and abilities that will set them apart.

Okay, but Beef, I don’t want any of this, I just want to play on a Minecraft server. Well, we also cater towards this as well. Without any of these features, you still will have a normal gameplay experience with you and your friends. Claiming land is the only caveat as that will be the form of land claim. Besides that these are all the settings of our server!
