Overview

Now running 1.15.2 😉

MeepWorld is a simple yet fun (mostly) vanilla minecraft server, with a very straight forward feel and friendly community of players.

The world features a small spawn village at the centre (x0,z0) with some basic facilities, including public farms, a mine, an info centre, a portal and a crafting/smelting workshop. Information on the server, plugins, rules and our community can be found in the information centre in game, so make sure to visit! The rest of the world is wilds in which to build, dotted with houses and builds here and there. You could even go ahead make a settlement, using the grief prevention plugin, which allows for land protection and claiming, plus it’s very easy to use.

The idea is that it’s super easy, fun, relaxed and simple vanilla survival in a friendly environment. To help with this, creeper explosions are disabled, fire spread and mob squishing are turned off and you keep your inventory when you die. PVP is enabled but it’s generally frowned upon if the other player doesn’t agree to it, so no randomly murdering people please.

There are no thrills or frills, no teleportation, no /home, no warps, just back to basics like in single player, except with friends to help you. It’s all about exploration, building large transport networks and working together to conquer the wilds.

Important Note

For this map/wipe/season/whatever we think it would be nice if people used roads and railways in the overworld, lived close by rather than far flung and even formed little shared towns and settlements. It would be much nicer if you could often see other builds and people around, rather than everyone living far apart and away from spawn and just using nether ice roads to get about

We have recently reset the map as every year or so our players tend to get a bit bored with their playthrough and want to change things up, we try not to do this too often and only if a majority agree to it. As for the end dimension, we do occasionally reset that to allow for new players to find unlooted cities, but the main island and any player builds are left alone, as long as you notify a staff member of their whereabouts.

*Also the nether will be reset for the upcoming 1.16 nether update so don’t get too attached

Basically just go out and have fun out in the infinite wilds of minecraftia, either playing solo or working together with friends to conquer the wilderness and build many epic creations of awesomeness. MeepWorld, it’s all about fun.

Our Philosophy

We aim to provide a stable, 24/7 server that upholds the values of vanilla while preserving the hard work put in by those who decide to participate. Created with the values in mind and the motivation provided from those who servers falsely advertised vanilla but rather had folders filled to the brim with plugins. We believe in providing the classic Minecraft SMP experience as the game was intended to be played, meaning no gameplay-modifying plugins, no creative mode usage by any staff whatsoever, and no world resets.

The Community

One of the key things setting The Vanilla Touch apart from other survival servers is the active, friendly, and tight-knit community, as well as the unique etiquette, playstyle, and culture of our members. Each and every build on the server was made legitimately by fellow players, entirely in survival mode. If you’re a fan of SMP YouTube series such as Hermitcraft or Mindcrack, you may be interested in The Vanilla Touch.

Only a small fraction of the world has been explored, so there is plenty of land for you to claim as your own. Feel free to join one of the few settlements that already exist, go solo, or even build an entirely new town of your own! The possibilities are infinitely vast on The Vanilla Touch.

Applications

The Vanilla Touch is a whitelisted server, so you must apply. Please do so by joining the Vanilla Touch Discord server linked below. Please mention your in-game username and leave a short explanation of why you are interested and what you have to bring to the server.

Rules

Please keep in mind that The Vanilla Touch is not an anarchy server. While we aim to keep in line with our vanilla Minecraft philosophy as much as possible, we have a set of rules put in place to ensure that players do not infringe upon others’ right to enjoy the game. These are enforced by active moderators, and they are easy to follow:

Do not mess with other players’ projects.

No griefing or stealing of others items.

No disrespect or hates speech of any kind, although swearing is allowed.

No hacking, cheating, or any third party scripts of any kind.

No PVP unless both players give consent.

Duping or major glitches not disclosed are not tolerated.

There is a single plugin installed on the server, CoreProtect. This plugin does not interfere or intrude on normal play in any circumstance. Its purpose is to ensure that transactions are logged, griefed buildings are restored to their former glory, and those responsible are held accountable for their actions.

Updates

We fully intend on updating the server as Minecraft progresses, we are ready to update the map to 1.16 and are excited for future updates!

Hey everyone.
Two friends and I just started a Minecraft Server.

We are a friendly bunch situated in both Germany and Poland and are in our early to mid twenties. The Server is been hosted from Frankfurt.

We are running a whitelisted Minecraft 1.15.2 Server and are playing Vanilla.
There are no plugins and we are trying to keep things nice and clean.
Some additions we made though are a few datapacks.
-Mob & Player Heads
-AFK Display
-Multiplayer Sleep
Nothing that interrupts the Vanilla feel, just adds a bit of flavor and fun.
We are currently working with a temporary Nether. We will delete it and create a new nether with the upcoming update. So be aware of that.

Everyone has a life.
The two of my friends still have the privilege in this time to work and study. So they have busy schedules.
And we understand that you might have that too. So there is no minimum server activity or such hassle.
We just want to enjoy our free time, play some Minecraft and have fun together.
This is where you come in.

What we expect of players joining our server:

Mature players that respect the other players. Interaction is cool, but always make sure the other is up for it as well.
Just don’t touch other peoples stuff without permission meaning no stealing/grieving etc.(why do I even have to say that, just don’t be a dick.)
We do want to be in contact with you, sometimes talk while we play together. So having Skype/Discord is always well appreciated though not always necessary.

As our server is tailored toward a smaller community much of what we do is based on trust, however we do have means to rollback and gather lost items if rules are broken or if corruption occurs.

Jobs allows you to join a job (ex. Miner, Hunter, Explorer, etc.) and you’ll earn ingame money while doing task from the job that you chosed.

Chest Shops allows you to buy / sell from other players, and this is the main source of the economy on the server. Visit our trading hall to build your own shop and buy items from other players shop.

Player Warps allows you to create your own public warp with a rental fee that let’s other people to visit your warps.

McMMO is fun RPG system we have on the server to lets players level their abilities and gain experience while playing. compete with each other to be the top player and gain the highest power level on the server.

Chat Games is a fun plugin that will give you rewards once you chat the right answer. It is a chat game that you need to answer in a limited of time. (Trivia, Unsramble words, First one to type the word, Unreversed the word, unshuffle the word, and more..)

AngelChest saves your items and experience when you die, you can pick it up after you respawn and type the command /back to teleport you where you died so you can pick up all the items that you’ve lost. you don’t need to worry about dying because you won’t lose your Items!

RTP it allows you to teleport in to the wild to start your journey and find your perfect location to build your base. It also allows specific rank to teleport in the Nether world and The End world.

Gsit allows your character to sit and lay anywhere you want! by just doing the commands /sit and /lay.

CosmicVault a plugin that allow donor ranks to have their private vaults to store their items.

MyPet is a highly customizable pet plugin with a lot of cool features. Take them on a lead, train them and make them a very powerful companion!

For killing bosses, you have a chance to get one of such legendary items as “Skeleton King’s Striker”, which gives the owner a buff of + 10 points to maximum health and + 10% to attack speed!
The administration around the clock monitors the economy of the server and its functionality in general. We remove all possible bugs, dupes and other server flaws that can only be formed. If a player finds a flaw and reports it to us, then he gets a reward for helping the server!

At The Bear Cave, our goal is to stay close to the vanilla Minecraft experience with only plugins that are necessary, fun, or add to the quality-of-life for all players. There are no pay-to-win packages or unfair advantages. The server admins are very active and do their best to keep the server free of hackers, cheaters, hate speech, and harassment. We are always looking for more players to join our friendly community!

About Server

SMP, Survival, PVP, PVE, hard difficulty, 250k world border, dedicated server, mature staff

No teleports other than /spawn, players use the end portal to get home (there is a short path to it in the Nether)

Place an NPC player shop anywhere on the server, usually they are around spawn

Custom plugin provides build protection within a beacon’s effects range (based on its size)

Only 1/3 of players in the overworld need to sleep to change night to day

Collect decorative players heads from killing mobs, players, or by voting for the server

Ability to sit on slabs, stairs, and campfires can be toggled on or off

Hover your cursor over someone’s name in chat to see their server profile/ statistics

The End’s outer islands will be reset every month to allow players the chance to reach loot more easily
