However, the server has a very experienced police force, and if players are caught, they will be sent to court and then to prison, where they will be subjected to hard work. They can work and level up through prison ranks to get out, they can escape, or they can stay and have guards or friends on the server smuggle drugs and guns into the prison to start a blackmarket shop. VYBN Minecraft was started for one purpose: to provide a good Minecraft experience, as close to vanilla survival as possible. No mods, just some data packs, so you don’t have to deal with server crashes or buggy features. Everyone is encouraged to vibe in the way that suits them best, whether that be by building, adventuring, or just tinkering as you please.

Datapacks were added based on some core principles. Make multiplayer work for everyone, avoid the most frustrating aspects of the game, and support and empower builders.

General Information and questions:

How old is the server? We are 1 month old. Seems old but its not. We have players spread out across gameplay positions. Some are rich and wealthy with mega bases. Some are not there yet. You are at no disadvantage and there is plenty more to do in the server. Many shops that need making, need stocking. Many more mega base designs needed. Dont worry about the age of the server join the community and let them welcome you in.

Why is it whitelisted? We use whitelist to keep the server maintained and compact. Using whitelist means we do not have hackers join on many alts and ruining the fun for everyone else. It also means we are friendly and a community all working together.

Why do I need discord? We require discord to keep everyone up to date on server changes as well as that you are easy to contact if need be. Bringing a further community vibe

How close to vanilla is it? We stick close to vanilla otherwise it’s just not hermitcraft. We have a few commands to make things easier like /home. That is it. A full server tweak list can be found on our discord page.
