Hello!

I am one of the co-founders of The Birch Project, and we are looking for new members!

The server has been up since the beginning of June, and we are looking to expand our player-base.
It is hosted in southern Sweden on a Debian server, with 10 gigabytes of RAM for the spigot-server itself, and we haven't noticed any lagging even with 10+ online players.
Due to the location of the server, we are looking mostly for European players to minimize ping and also make sure that the majority of the players can be online at the same time if any major projects are being built or if there are any sorts of events. But with that said, everybody is welcome!
The server is using whitelist, but not an application forum. The Admins and I try to get to know all players before whitelisting them, so just a quick chat about who you are, such as where you are from, what your hobbies are, your age, etc is enough.
We're small enough to be quite laid-back, and we don't mind being informal unless it's something more serious, such as bans, harassment or anything in that matter.

The Primary language is English, and we try to keep it that way. However, most of the players speak multiple languages.
We also have a website with some more information about us, such as rules and our stance on greefing.

Authentic Vanilla is Java Edition Minecraft in its purest form, the world, which will never be reset, is whatever you want it to be. Anything you can do in Mojang's intended vanilla is fair game, you need not be bogged down by landclaims or building requirements or suffocating world borders. But be ware, the freedom to create also comes with the freedom to destroy, so keep what you make safe.
To keep the server as authentically vanilla as possible, the server will be running Fabric rather than the more widely used, but much more invasive PaperMC. This means that farms that are known to not be multiplayer compatible due to PaperMC's intrusive optimizations should work here, without it being at the expense of server performance.
There are only 4 simple rules as follows:

No hacked clients or other mods that give an unfair advantage
No use of glitches or exploits to gain an unfair advantage
Do not harm the server's integrity through DDOS attacks or lag machines
What happens in the block game stays in the block game, do not threaten people's real life well being

The server will be launching later this month (~2 weeks from now), so now is the chance to get in early!

What is SpudCraft?

SpudCraft is a community brought together by our shared love for Minecraft. We've developed a small but close-knit group that we aim to expand and grow into a safe, trusting community.

What do we have to offer?
* A trust-based diamond economy system similar to HermitCraft
* An easy way to get back to spawn using the /spawn command
* A simple voice chat mod, just like in HermitCraft!
* Purely vanilla, excluding essential datapacks such as anti-enderman griefing, multiplayer sleep, solidifying concrete dust in a cauldron, double shulker shells, player and mob head drops, mini head wandering traders, and an AFK display (visible by pressing Tab).
* A 15-year-old age requirement for maturity reasons (some exceptions may apply)
* A kind, mature, and interactive community both in-game and in voice chats
* Collaborative build projects, fun events, and game nights

* Custom world generation, no mods required! Enjoy enhanced places to build and overhauled villages.
