NotSoBad is a vanilla, PvE survival server set on hard mode. We strive to keep a clean and fun community for everyone to enjoy. Only the best membership applications get accepted by us. We pride ourselves on remaining as vanilla as possible. No teleportation, no commands, no game changing additions to the game play. Just a simple, raw Minecraft experience on a highly active server who’s map has been carefully chosen.

Working together as a community, making towns and helping one another is something we cherish. If you’re looking for an attempt to mimic Hermitcraft or Mindcrack this isn’t it. We are bigger and better than those servers and have a large mature, grief free player base that is active at all hours of the day. Our players login from across the world to join in our community.

We are professionally maintained, and we’re constantly making improvements to the infrastructure of the server so that the only thing you have to do is enjoy the game like it was meant to be played. To ensure this our professional and friendly staff utilize a robust set of tools to ensure that no one steals, no one cheats. Our robust block logging allows us to make sure that grief will not ruin your time on our server.

NotSoBad uses a greylist which means that anyone can login, but only those that have had their application accepted may build!

We try to limit rules as much as possible, and usually are pretty lenient. Nevertheless:

Be respectful to others. Do not bully anyone.

Do not escalate conflicts.’

Do not cheat, exploit or use modifications. A whitelist of mods is available.

Do not grief protected lands. Unprotected lands are fair-game. PvP is on.

Do not spam chat.

Do not ask staff for free items or ranks

Do not intentionally cause lag or crash the server. This includes 0-tick machines and AFK-fish farms.

No circumventing the AFK kick! AFK-farms are banned, background-farms are not!

McMMO! Towny! Quests!
Look no further for the best survival Minecraft server, which has been running since Feburary 2011!

We gave McMMO a custom curve to keep leveling fun, making it easier initially and harder as you go.

Towny’s upkeep is based on the number of residents, and having more residents allows you more plots! Town members get a bonus 10% to all McMMO skills!

Quests are a new way to make money, giving players gold for completing challenges. All gold can be traded for rupees at /warp cash4gold. We’re slowly adding more quests to the mix, so stay tuned!

Our main world is split into pvp and pve, so you can choose either epic battles or a more relaxed environment.

This is a vanilla MC Server with plugins like anti cheat and other administrative tools to help server owner manage a fair playing field.

No warps or tp (teleports)

No sethome (use your bed for waypoints)

Hard Difficulty

PVP, Raiding, Stealing are Allowed (considering adding a bounty plugin or similar concept but not yet)

Hacks and xray not allowed. If there is no admin online to monitor, server will be in adventure mode

Okay, nether update is here, check out the new features on a great running server with plenty RAM 24/7
Updated daily as necessary at least until official release of 1.16, perhaps we will have a community going forward from there!

Our only plugins are:

- Anti Cheat, damn those hackers making the game unfair!
- PvP Manager (a combat log prevention plugin) stopping the poor sucker whose ass your
whoopin’ from logging out and denying you that sweet sweet kill!)
(This plugin also sops new players from taking damage, lasts 30 mins, use it wisely!)
- SilkSpawners, allowing for more maintained/efficient mob farms!
- VoteShop/Votifier (Allows abilities such as buying more lives and unlocking silk spawners)

Powder is back and now open for testing!

Powder has had a HUGE overhaul and we need YOU to test it out! If you’ve stumbled upon this server whilst looking for a typical prison server then you might get a bit of a surprise! As you progress from level 1 on wards you will notice that you have a lot of freedom and choice in the way you can level up. The server has many RPG elements to it but it still gives you that prison feel of using your hard earned money in order to rank up and access that next area.

As you level up you will unlock new areas, but first you will need money. There
are many ways to make money in Powder 3.0 such as fishing, farming,
repeatable quests, slaying monsters for loot and much more!

Exploration is the best way to find those rare items and loot, but only the adventurers that are willing to take the risk will take the greatest rewards!

Good items such as diamonds aren’t devalued as much as you find they are on other prison servers, so finding that rare gem will once again give you that sense of excitement and achievement!

PvP is a large part our the server and because of that there is always a risk while exploring areas far away from safe zones. So be careful who you trust and be sure to stock up on armour, weapons and potions!

Don’t forget plots! Of course we have plots, once you reach level 3 you will be able to purchase a plot from an NPC. You can build whatever you want on your plot, make cosy little home, a large scale farm, a place to show off all the rare items you’ve collected, a storage place for all your loot, or all of the above and much more!

Medaevum is a roleplaying community. It’s based on the living world model, so people can come and go from roleplaying and events freely with events happening whether or not they’re present. We use a mix of Discord and Minecraft in order to bring the setting to life. It’s 18+, but just because there’s a lot of dark themes and aim for a more mature audience.

If you like stuff like The Witcher or Game of Thrones, you’ll like this server for the gritty medieval violence grounded in character driven drama.
