Who are we?

Minecraft 4 Nerds is a network that accommodates a community of different play styles, whether you think you got what it takes to survive the wilderness or test your crafting skills in creative mode with our relaxed permissions allowing for minimal restrictions to fully unleash crafters of all age’s imagination in the world of Minecraft.

Server Mechanics overview:

We have the heads database installed which gives you access to 20k+ custom entities used for decorating your builds.

Custom enchants which add new funky ways to kill creepers & dig big holes.

Enhanced fishing that allows you to catch a vast array of different fish while competing against others in tournaments to win rewards or in casual mode to sell for cash towards your next rank up!

We try to keep the majority of the interactions with the server inside of fancy GUI’s or command signs because who likes commands.The server does have a general shop setup to assist players but we also offer the same shop functionality out to all players to create their own.

A friendly team of staff dedicated to assisting players if anything goes wrong and to oversee the smooth running of the server.

BanterUHC is a Speed UHC server designed around 1.8 PVP. You can join with 1.8, 1.9, or 1.10 clients and PVP is all 1.8 based.

We Feature:
– Traditional Speed UHC starting with a 20 minute mining phase and ending with a border shrinking death match. Available in Solo, Teams of 2, and Teams of 4.

– Flower Power where you skip the mining and just break flowers that drop gears, weapons, armor, enchanted books, and more for you to use to fight to the death in Death Match!

– Psycho Mode or sometimes known as Banter Mode was created after the Owner and a YouTuber fought with very over powered gear at the end of a Speed UHC. Psycho Mode has ores spawning from y=1 to y=128 from coal to diamonds, and obsidian. Everything you need to become as over powered as possible. With Pigmen and Ghasts spawning in the over world and dropping golden apples, food and leather this game mode is something you’ve never seen before. Available in Solo and Teams of 2.

– Cut Clean is the original “Speed UHC” without the need to create furnaces and smelt your ore or cook your food this 1 hour game mode is sure to bring back some nostalgia for veteran UHC players. Available in Solo, Teams of 2 and Teams of 4.

We are a relatively new server, about a month and a half old. The admins are going to be playing right along side in survival as well and are very active and always accessible via in game chat or email. This is going to be a semi-vanilla survival/economy server with a relatively close-knit group of players.There is a small spawn town, some players have established shops and homes around the spawn area but almost everything else is untouched.

There aren’t many rules.
-Be respectful to your fellow players.
-Be mature and use common sense.
-No cheating… this is a survival server. Don’t ruin the fun.
-No stealing from shops (Buildings around the spawn area)
-No building or breaking blocks in a shop that is not yours.

Everything is negotiable. If you don’t like something or have any suggestions just let me know and we can work to satisfy everyone.

We have a few basic commands like /home, /spawn, /tpa, etc… This server offers SilkSpawners plugin so you can use silk touch to mine monster spawners. We also have TreeAssist which quickly cuts down trees when you hit them with an axe.
