Awesome Sauce is a Survival Server server. We just re-launched and while the world is new, we are an established community that is warm, welcoming and family friendly. It is primary Player vs. Environment (PvE) but has some Player vs. Player (PvP) designated areas. You own and protect your land through a robust land claim system. You can gather resources anywhere including a resource world that resets every 24hrs. We have an economy that you can participate in through many ways that include; taking up multiple Jobs (we have over 20 Job classes), buying and trading items with NPC characters, opening or browsing player shops, or trading with other players through a managed trade interface.
We will have a wide variety of quest activities that contain many types of unique rewards and are fueled by interlinking and deep backstories. This gives the server a fun vibe similar to that of a role playing game (RPG). We don’t necessarily align to any one genera with a wide variety, from medieval to modern.

Our Mission Statement: We are here to provide a unique Minecraft experience. We are constantly focusing on innovating to provide a Minecraft community where there always something to do. Our experience is rated PG-13. In this environment everyone can play the game in a fun safe and friendly way. We believe in the simple not the complex. We provide and participate only in aspects of Minecraft where we personally enjoy and can significantly stand out. We believe that we need to own and control the primary technologies behind the service we provide. We believe in saying no to multiple projects, so that we can really focus on the few that are truly important and meaningful to us. On our server we have many things that enhance the regular minecraft game play. Some of which are the bukkit plugins

Towny – A claiming plugin that allows players to start from a little hamlet to a civilization. You can add your friends to your town, toggle a diverse amount of settings and options, such as pvp, mob spawning, and firespread, but is also a great way for any server admin or player to protect their builds from grief.

Economy – We use the SignShop plugin in our server to create a realistic feel of real life economy in our server. The money system is pretty basic but to earn money, you have to sell, buy, trade, and work. With the money you can buy more from other players, from the server shop, or improve your town land space.

mcMMO – A plugin that adds skills and abilities to the world of minecraft. You can level up, and become a stronger payer as you go along. Also, if you level up to certain levels in a skill you can either gain an ability, or just make doing that thing easier.

All of these things make our server unique and fun. If you have any more ideas that could keep the spirit of minecraft yet still add on to our server in a good way then please speak up and tell us. Have fun on RedstonePowered.

What is MCBall? Why is it unique?
MCBall, in its simplest description, is a completely custom Minecraft minigame that revolves around two teams, red and blue, trying to capture the other team’s flag and protect their own. The first to 3 captures wins the game, but it’s not that simple. Preventing you from capturing the enemy team’s flag is the entire enemy team armed with paintballs (snowballs) which kill on impact. When a person runs out of snowballs they must left click or press Q to reload. If a person dies he will respawn within 20 seconds at their team’s base. Also adding to gameplay mechanics arekits.

What are kits?
Kits are a large part of MCBall gameplay and add much variation and strategy. Any player can use one kit at a time and can select it by either /kit or clicking on the slimeball in their hotbar. Kits vary in what they do but they all influence playstyle and gameplay.Every kit has different killstreak effects at 3, 5 and 7 kills.
