This server contains an strict economy that is mostly endorsed by playtime, voting, and working in-game jobs (which are limited.)

The rankup system is based off of ore ranks. Default/New players start with Stone, and then from there it goes by Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Quartz, Diamond and Netherite. Players earn more jobs, player warps, homes and cosmetics as they rankup.

Players can also make their own market place with chests for player shops in the market world. Just in case the global shop doesn’t sell or have whatever they’re selling, or they want to market off of a specific shop. (Decorative blocks for example, will not be in global, but can be made with a player shop)

Voting gives players crate keys and points, which can be used on said crates to earn many awards. Rare keys are earned only through crate rewards, and cannot be earned any other way.

This is Fight Of Hunger, a kit based survival game. The point of the game is to survive as LONG as possible. Be careful though, hunger is on. You will have to get food which spawns on islands or underwater. For every life you will choose your kit, all of the kits have both strengths AND weaknesses. You will be able to respawn and choose new kits every time you die, but you WILL loose 25% of your SP (a.k.a survival points) when you die. You’ll buy kits with your SP gained by surviving (makes sense right). The longer you survive the more points you get! Better so, you will gain points faster the longer you are alive.

This is a server where you can raid, kill, steal, or make friends and help people. The only rules are no lava griefing because it is extremely hard to clean up, and no x-raying or x-ray texture packs allowed. Anything else goes. This server wants to be as close to vanilla as possible without breaking the “apocalyptic” feel. The mods/plugins we are using are cakesminerapocalypse (only for the chat mod,) and random spawn. The anti cheat/xray mods we are using are NoCheatPlus, Orebfuscator, LogBlock, and Xray Informer. We are just starting out, so have only 8 slots. Welcome! This is the first day the server has opened 12-27-13 (Beta). This is a GTA V / CoD server with guns and cars. You level up with kills and also get money from kills which you can use to buy things such as better weapons and cars. We have 10 rank to start off with once you reach level 10 you are stuck unless you donate which can allow you to directly rank up higher levels such as 11-15. The reason you might want to donate is because it gives you access to more perks and better weapons to buy.

The Rules
MCToday has similar rules to pretty much every other server, we expect you to respect our rules in order to play the server.
1) Do not use inappropriate language anywhere on the server or website.
2) Do not be racist, sexual or offensive to other players.
3) Do not grief outside of factions.
4) Respect other players to be respected.
5) Do not spam anywhere on the server or website, spamming includes CAPS.
6) Do not use any hacks or cheats. (Nodus is an example)
7) Do not bug other players for stuff or items.
8) Do not ask for ranks, items, cash, EXP or creative mode. We do not give stuff out for free.
9) You are allowed to steal from chests if the user didn’t bother to lock it.
10) You should only free build outside of the spawn city gates.
