This server contains an strict economy that is mostly endorsed by playtime, voting, and working in-game jobs (which are limited.)
The rankup system is based off of ore ranks. Default/New players start with Stone, and then from there it goes by Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Quartz, Diamond and Netherite. Players earn more jobs, player warps, homes and cosmetics as they rankup.
Players can also make their own market place with chests for player shops in the market world. Just in case the global shop doesn’t sell or have whatever they’re selling, or they want to market off of a specific shop. (Decorative blocks for example, will not be in global, but can be made with a player shop)
Voting gives players crate keys and points, which can be used on said crates to earn many awards. Rare keys are earned only through crate rewards, and cannot be earned any other way.

-Server has VeinMiner. You can cut all trees at once or mine all ores at once. To do just SNEAK while cutting/mining!
1)Stone(2), Iron(5), Gold(7), Diamond(40) and Netherite(60) tools is locked behind levels
2)Iron(5), Gold(7), Diamond(30) and Netherite(50) require DEFENSE level, except for boots. ENDURANCE is required for boots.
3)First get woodcutting(foraging) to level 5, to unlock IRON AXE. This will be your best weapon at the start.
4)Second get to mining, it will be slow at first. We recommend to mine all ores you find. You might not get drops but you get XP for leveling still!
5)Do farming and fishing. These will level up your HEALTH so you have more hearts to survive dangers of the night!
6)After that you play like regular SMP: Build a base, gather resources and try to slowly level up.

We now use custom models! These, like our mods, are completely optional. Currently they are used for rewards in all kinds of events and challenges we plan on having.
We have a shopping district with a diamond based economy as well as a minigame district where we can all hangout and have fun.

We have set up an application process in our discord that all players need to fill out before joining, In general this is so we know you actually want to play and will make a good fit for the community. Mildew RP is a brand new Minecraft roleplay server based around the already existing lore of Minecraft with a spin on it. You will play your character based off of one of eight species. All species have different mobs you can use to inspire your character. With the lore being based off of the game itself, your builds are NOT limited to any specific time period.
That means your imagination is your only limit!

We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.
(This carries into the RP aspect as well: If your character's entire personality is to be rude and hateful towards others 24/7, this is not the world for them.)
