Welcome to Islandcraft. We are a server that is focused on making Minecraft realistic. We are known for our boats and the server has actually gotten popular off of them. We recently went under a major overhaul and gave the server a “2.0 Upgrade”. We added 2 new worlds for you guys to enjoy like out new plotworld and out build teams build yard. Our spawn city is currently closed as the island is still being worked on, and that is why you cannot escape the building at spawn. Spawn will be open once the island is complete. Our plotworld is where you can apply to be a part of the IC build team, you can have up to 3 plots and once you are done, you can flag down an admin to judge it and see if you can join our team. Our build yard is where the team builds, its a vast flat world that only team members can build on. You can explore it as much as youd like and see what our members are up to. We hope you enjoy your stay here at IslandCraft, please let us know if you have any questions.

Server History-

This is a server that started out small, and is now a server full of people. it started out with Hamachi, being run about 2 hours a day, but as more people wanted to play, I made Hamachi run all day. but yet, that still wasnt enough, I had to port forward, and on July 15th, I happened. IslandCraft was no longer Hamachi, and was running off a port as a stable server. 2 days after the port forward, we were confronted my another IslandCraft who claimed they owned the name. for 2 days, IslandCrafts name was changed to “IsleCraft”, but, someone helped us out, and got our name back also threatening a counter sue toward the other IslandCraft. the name was changed back, and we still thank him to this day. As the demand for 24/7 grew, I talked to a person about funding. luckily, they said they would pay, and IslandCraft became bigger. We were about 6 months into the 24/7 feature, and we decided we needed something new and fresh, so we came out with the IslandCraft 2.0 Upgrade. This upgrade gave us 2 new worlds, the build world and the plotworld. The plotworld was added so that people had an easier way to apply to our build team. And the build yard was added so that people didnt have to build on the main world, making it so the chances of a spawn greif very unlikely. We also reset the worlds and ranks to have a fresh start, were still working on some permissions, but other than that the server is running strong, and we thank all those who support us.

How to apply for builder-

To apply for builder, you must go on the server and go to our plotworld [/warp PlotWorld]. From there, claim a plot, and build the best you can. Your build will be judged within 3 days of the build. When your build is complete, please leave a sign on the south side of the build letting the admins know that it is done. If you dont make it, you can still build in the plotworld.

Tamers of Lux will be going for an open RPG-Pixelmon experience.
With this RPG aspect of Pixelmon we want to include a massive amount of things to do while on the server.
Whether it be dungeoneering, training to be the pokemon master, being a magnificent builder, beating up our custom bosses, making secret bases, finding all the secret areas, or even waging war against your neighbor..

Key Features:

Guilds: For the team player inside all of us.
There will be a guild system set in place so you can associate yourself with the people you want to be with.
Note: Being part of a Guild does NOT grant them access to your land claim.

Dungeons: There will be many different sized Dungeons and areas to explore throughout the world.
Many rewards will be found.
Random trainers wandering throughout the dungeons.
Random Rare Pokemon and Custom Monsters as well.
The Greater the risk the Greater the Reward.

Open World Exploration: While we will have a map for our “theme and story’s sake”
You are more than welcome to explore all corners of the world without having to complete prior Quests/Server related events.
Some small exceptions of course like Spawn tutorial and Secret Areas.

Evolve your Character: You will have the chance to submerge your self inside our RP System.
Why let your pokemon have all the fun?
Grab your favorite class and Evolve once you reach a certain Class level.
Go from a Squire to a Brave Knight.
or From a Pirate to a Cannoneer..
As you Level up you will gain more HP, Get Stronger, Faster, Learn New Moves.
The whole Pokemon Experience will happen inside you.
And Yes.. you can have more than 4 moves at a time..
We have a HUGE selection of classes to satisfy 99.9% of all players.
Miko, Ninja, Magicians, Wind Seer, Water Seer, Samurai, Aqua Squire, Beastlings and many many more classes to choose from.

Combat and Skills: Depending on your Chosen Class, You will have access to an Arsenal of Skills.
Combat Skills Can be used on other players, pokemon, NPCs and the Environment.
Gathering skills will allow you to find treasure while fishing,
find random ores while mining the simplest stone (at a high enough level),
Bring Trees crashing down with a single Blow.
We have ~150 Skills and more are being made as this is being written.
90% of the skills CAN be used WHILE riding pokemon, Making for some Amazing Showdowns in the air.
And many many more uses that you will have to find yourself..

Unique pokemon spawning mechanism: That you will have to log in to the server to experience for yourself.
All/Most Pokemon have had their spawning areas changed and spawn rates increased/decreased.
Some days youll see Swarms of [Example] Charmander, other days that same pokemon might be the rarest in the server.
Catch them while you can.

Quests: Using Custom NPC’s we will guide the player through many different obstacles and challenging tasks to complete the quest at hand.
There will even be fights for your life where your pokemon will help you even outside of official battles.
Make sure you carry plenty of healing items..

Competition: This is going to stay a secret but there will be many ways more ways than just battling to assert your dominance over other players.
Sometimes knowledge will save you.
Sometime Brawn will save you.

Cracked Server: Yes you read that right, The server comes to all who wish to play it.
we are not all fortunate enough to be able to afford Minecraft (and some of us are to cheap to buy it) but that doesnt mean you should be left out on all the excitement.

The new lands where you have crashed are free from the infection which plagued so many in the world before and still survivors from the shipwreck are found daily. All 24 races seek new fortunes and the spells that the monsters covet for their magic in this previously unexplored land. Those who have made the journey quickly find themselves in a lush and vibrant landscape with a thousand possibilities for a new grand life. On Minecraft, you nearly always wake up inside a world and proceed to do a variety of different game play in that world. It could be creating new builds, exploring new caves, getting out of a prison, fighting or even just surviving. But what would you do if that world was destroyed? Could you find the power within yourself to survive out in space, where you’re walking space is limited and you have to rely on others to achieve your goal of simply surviving and flourishing? Prologue
=======================
Earth, having gone through many years of prosperity and peace, was hit by the Sun prematurely going SuperNova under very suspicious circumstances. Years prior to this event, Humanity had grown into a space-faring race with a number of colonies. Many of these were lost in the blast and only 2 were deemed outside of the reach of the SuperNova. All was not lost on that apocalyptic day however, as a number of ships managed to escape the blast to form a flotilla encapsulating the only remaining StarBase that the Minecraft Space Fleet had outside of the blast radius. This station was then renamed “Notch’s Ark” after the creator of HyperDrive, Markus “Notch” Persson.

Many years have passed and the Flotilla has grown along with the number of Humans. No longer is there a need for Child-Care as all children are grown up in maturation chambers. You are one of these children and you will embark on a journey to get your name etched into the History Books like the greats of the past.

Solarcraft is an economy based survival server that has been running since 2011.
The current generation of the server is running on an amazing custom made map by Moontis on PlanetMinecraft.

Plugins
Solarcraft puts great pride into running the most unique yet fun plugins out there. On top of using ‘popular’ plugins such as McMMo and Jobs, We utilize custom made commands and settings through the Skript plugin.

Summary
Solarcraft is a third generation server which has been running for 5 years now. Our community has been built and tested over time and we pride ourselves on keeping the old spirit of minecraft alive opposed to the countless amounts of factions/prison/OP servers that have popped up over the last couple of years.
