Cornford was founded in 2020 by me, Mr. Cornford and my partner, Mrs. Cornford. We both live together in the United Kingdom. Mrs. Cornford, originally from Germany/Madeira (Portugal). I came up with the idea to launch an updated version of my latest server, whilst previously owning servers over the years it was time for a change and upgrade. Me and Mrs. Cornford have created, what we believe a “unique gameplay” experience. We have both spent countless hours on the server tweaking the gameplay, to make sure you get the best experience. We strive to continue with small consistent updates with the help of the Minecraft community.

Both me and Mrs. Cornford have aspirations to build a small, niche, community, a community where everyone feels they can be themselves. We don’t have any rules but just be human. Our server is fully funded by our day jobs, covering the running costs. We want to make our server a family ran server and a potential pass-down to our children.

A tightly wrapped pea-coat. A popped collar. A hat pulled low. Fumbling for keys as the rain pelts leather back. Left- right- breast- rear! As deftly closed as it was opened, the door swings silently shut. Hat, Coat, Keys, Quiet. Only the pitter, pitter, pitter, pat out of doors and footsteps. One, two, three steps down. The familiar smell of dust and age-old pages. A nook by the high window and cushions abound. Waking soon gives way to sleep at the hands of a good book. Dreaming. Fields of hay and mushrooms. Cottages with stout chimneys. Forests, rivers, and… awake again. No… Not wake. This is not the corner host to so many long days and late nights. Pat, pat, pat… skitter. Pillows and rain has given way to meticulously hewn stones
and stale air.

“Awake at last.” A mere whisper amplified so many scores by church walls. Deafening.

Whiskers like hay. A nose akin to caps from so many stews before. Homely and stout, smoking a cigar like a stovepipe. Forest green eyes sparkling as lively as a bubbling brook.

“Welcome finally, traveler, to Fel’Arthia!”

Feudal tales offers a serious roleplaying environment where all players are expected to be in character at all times. Located in what is generally considered the ‘center’ of the known world, this realm is a geographical wonder. Scholars, monks, and mystics, everywhere, despite their differing opinions on other matters, all seem to agree that this marvellous land is most unnaturally formed.
Just as the land itself is a wonder, so are its societies. It seems that all creatures of the world were drawn to her wonder. Remarkably, they have learned to coexist– to an extent, at least. The Kingdom of Ardea is governed by a king, elected from and overseeing a governing council of each race living within the kingdom: dwarves, elves, humans, and non-tribal orcs. A remarkable feat indeed as kingdoms elsewhere in the world are usually composed of a single race and culture.
Day to day, new arrivals arrive in Aetheral, eager to begin anew. Some aspire to join the council and represent their peoples, some to start a business venture, or perhaps become a great knight, studious mage, or a petty bandit. Opportunity is endless, for better or worse.
