A Hero’s Journey

Everyone wonders where a journey for any hero truly begins; does it begin with their childhood and intense training, or does it begin when they take their first adventure to slay a mighty evil?

This Journey began long ago, when there was peace within an old world.. A peace that had been destroyed by a powerful evil; A god, which carried many magical capabilities. Civilians and adventurers of this world alike banded together in an attempt to vanquish a great evil.. Yet, they could never defeat The Scourge that plagued their realm.. With Victory under his belt, he began to form a world of his own liking; soldiers and people of which he could control and command.. People like him.

One thing The Scourge could not control, was his people’s ability to think and act upon their own ambitions and curiosities, no matter how hard he tried to control the world and people he had created within.. This eventually led to an era long war. His own people, the other gods which he had created, turned against him and banded together to bring new life… they used their powers to wipe the slate clean, and recreate a world without The Scourge’s touch and influence..

A realm where they once more could try again.
Where Heroes of the past, present, and future could emerge.

The Gods, and Demi-Gods alike, whom of which were created by the Scourge, Now Dedicate their life to protecting Iterum Conare, and prevent him from ever having reach of this new soil, new life, and new world.

Those of the Dark is a text-based roleplay server created by Warrior Cats fans who want to create the first Warriors-inspired project that truly goes beyond what the source material limits us to. Taking place in a world that has long since seen its best days, the colony of cats living in the remains of an ancient underground complex are bound together by the roar of the forge, the whisper of their ancestors, and the call of the arcane. The world as it will be… of that world, nothing is certain. But something is stirring, in this world left to rot, and it brings with it power to change all that was, all that is, and all that will be. The shadows are all that’s left… and they need a hero.

TOTD offers a complex world filled with several years’ worth of lore to explore and create stories of your own from. The official server-wide story of TOTD will debut Q1 2024, told through in-person events as well as Quests that players are able to play through, following the tale of a Guild cat who has uncovered an ages-old secret…

Amongst the uncaring and raging waves, a portal to another sea descends toward a world that spans farther than any map of the Old and New World. Known to many as the Other World, Gründar’s crew were the first humans to make contact with this unknown land in thousands of years. Their adventure would only become known to the world after Gründar’s crew vanished and his journal came into the hands of the public. He described the ruins of ancient prosperous civilizations that had left behind a wicked and horrible land filled with unexplainable curses.

TOW is a serious roleplay set in a steampunk-ish dark fantasy world—centered on exploring and settling in an unknown, wicked land inspired by early colonial America. You may end up facing off against the industrious capitalistic settlements, the mutated alchemical constructs, and cursed humans left behind by ancient civilizations, all while contending with the maddening effects of the fog. Or you may aid in constructing new towns and researching the occult, helping to create a massive trade route with the old empires.

These adventures take place within Minecraft, using a variety of mods such as the Create mod and Terrafirmacraft to enhance the roleplay experience. If you’re interested in this text-based roleplaying adventure, you’ll need to apply to join the server in the Discord server.

The Story of Asheron’s Call…
The legendary magician Asheron has summoned many to Dereth; only the bravest have answered the call. Here, warriors battle creatures of awesome might, magicians will discover magical items and create new spells, and treasure hunters will seek out precious relics. Quests will impel adventurers to uncover the wealth and lore of legend. Adventurers will form allegiance and fellowships, for often many can accomplish what one alone cannot.

Asheron also experimented with portals for travel to and from other worlds until one experiment unleashed the Olthoi upon Dereth. When the Empyrean fled the world though the portals Asheron created to save them, their departure produced a disruption in portal space. This caused many new portals to appear in Dereth from other worlds—including Ispar, the human home world.

Dereth: The Word That Is
When humans first arrived in Dereth, it was in ruins, overrun with ferocious creatures. Faced with the prospect that they might never return to Ispar, humans have made the island their new home. They have built towns and carved out small pockets of safety in a perilous world.

Though the Empyrean have vanished, some of what they wrought remains; magic flows through the land; mystical portals carry travelers many miles in a heartbeat; enchanted Lifestones bind the spirits of those who use them, allowing the dead to be resurrected. Those that come back to life find that some of their life force has been drained away—some say to power Asheron’s magic. Even more ancient secrets may lie amid the crumbled remnants of Empyrean society.

The World That Could Be
Many challenges await newcomers to Dereth. Exploring the island is both dangerous and rewarding: monsters lurk everywhere, especially in the hostile Direlands, and wondrous sights, both natural and crafted by the Empyrean, await the adventurous. Scores of dungeons—some built by the Empyrean for arcane purposes, others dug by the Olthoi or other creatures as lairs—riddle the earth. Somewhere among these is the stronghold of Asheron himself, it location lost with Elysa Strathelar and waiting to be found again.

The island of Dereth is strange, beautiful, and perilous. Power and riches are here for the taking. Many mysteries wait to be explored and solved, not the least of which is the whereabouts of the lost Empyrean race. And, it is said, there is a deep and ancient darkness at the heart of things, striving to reawaken. These quests are not for the faint of heart—brave adventurers are needed to explore the dangerous wilds, probe the deepest catacombs, and rise as rulers in this new world.

Here @ 8BitAc we plan on re capturing the classic old feel of Rpg mmo experience here in Minecraft! our map is 100% complete and the server is being blasting with towns city’s, outpost, dungeons and more our current build progress is 50% as of 5-4-2022 and we expect to hit 100% with in the next 3-5 months !

When you join our server you can jump right into action with building. When you spawn you’re already part of the city Plymouth! Join a job and start making money to buy yourself a plot in a town, or start your own town! You can also spend your money in the Player Mall at spawn to buy other player’s items or purchase a Mall Plot and sell your own items! If you buy a plot, everything is protected in that plot. No one else can build or destroy! However, be careful in the wilderness, PVP is on everywhere except in the towns and there is no block protection there either! Build and play at your own risk!

Opened two years ago, CraftinMatrix is a factions server that strives to offer the perfect experience to all players for the Minecraft community. We try to make every single experience perfect and we took lots of time to work on it. Unfortunately, as many of the old members might know, our server was down for a long time, due to lots of bugs in the server and the insufficient resources to run the server. Hello there! We just started our brand new PVP/RAID server called Ultimate PVP/RAID. Our server runs bukkit and as i said it is a PVP/RAID server so griefing is allowed, but if you claim your base then they wont be able to grief it. We also have drop parties at the evening with some enchants and stuff.
