Clients from 1.7.x through 1.15.x Latest being 1.15.2 are able to join and play. The server also support offline-mode/offline players however, you MUST use a name that is not already taken by a premium user. Premium users, you get to skip the login system and come right into it.

What is Minecraft Middle Earth?
Minecraft Middle Earth is a project with the goal to create the lands, towns and areas of Middle Earth.
We do this by organizing ourselves as a group and with methods to build the areas. The server has a very experienced group of creative staff members who set up jobs and projects.
Themed Builds
Every week there is a new Themebuild. These are basically weekly build contests you can either join to get a new rank, or in order to improve your building skills. You’ll receive feedback if you wish by our creative staff! Since every week features a new theme, you can easily try again with a theme that you like better.
Jobs and Projects?
Projects are a collection of tasks that require massive creativity and work (building Gondor, Moria, Mordor, ..). These are usually split up in smaller tasks in which everyone can help out as long as there is a staff member online. These jobs could be building furniture in houses, building houses, farmland, roads, walls, outposts etc…
You’ll receive creative mode and creative flying so there is no need to gather the resources. Just creative building!
What do I need to join?
MCME is easy to join as you don’t need any mod pack. Just join the server and go through a New Player Quiz with some basic questions, and start exploring all the places we already built. You are able to fly and teleport to places.
