We are a hermit style Survival Multiplayer Server running semi-vanilla. Inspired by HermitCraft, our server grants players the freedom to work alone or work in a group. Our minimal plugins allow players to build many chunks away from each other yet still be able to visit each other within seconds! We are currently running Craftconomy3, Stables, Griefprevention, and Population Density for plugins. The server is pvp enabled but encourages cooperative play.
What is “Hermit Style”?
A hermit is a recluse living off on his own and finding his own means of survival. Think of it like playing single player survival but being able to play cooperatively with other players when you need something you can’t find on your own or just being able to chat with others. Of course, this is completely optional and you may build with others as long as they want to build with you.
What does “semi-vanilla” mean?
Semi-vanilla servers are basically like vanilla servers with minor plugins. This means that you will be able to play with no plugins/mods on your end and the gameplay experience from your own vanilla game will be similar to the one on the server. Our plugins are installed specifically for you to enjoy playing as vanilla as possible with grief protection and anti-out-resourcing.
Who are the OPs?
We have no OP/admins! Our server features seniors who are players just like you. This is to create a more ‘player-friendly’ environment and to lessen the frequent ‘I wanna be OP’ messages. Our Seniors are all also playing on survival like any other player so it will be impossible to get non-legitimate items/blocks.

Not Gladius! We are a semi-vanilla server. That means we aim for a very vanilla experience – only with extra things that make multiplayer better, like /tpa, /sethome, /warp, etc.

Economy – Our economy revolves around the player. The server currency can be obtained in a variety of ways, making it easy for all players to get involved in the economy. A widely used method to obtain currency would be to set up shop in any location or in our market area. Prices of items are not server regulated, giving the player an equal chance to succeed in the economy. In addition, many normally unobtainable items are available in the admin shop near the center of spawn.
Spawn – Minetown’s spawn area is simple and small, allowing new players to find their way out quickly and easily. We also feature a rail system that stretches to the furthest areas of the map, allowing players to build as close to spawn or as far away as desired.
History – Minetown has been around since September of 2010. We’re proud to be one of the oldest servers around! In the last 8 years, we’ve had the opportunity to build up some rich history, and a dedicated community of friendly players. In all of our history there have only been three survival maps – Classic, Agharta and Main. Our website has been running just as long as our server, and we are proud to have over 47,000 registered users on our Enjin forum!
Freedom – Having been around for a long time has allowed us to design a system of rules and a collection of plugins that allow us to improve everyone’s playing experience without impeding on anyone’s freedom. Staff – Our staff is just as friendly as our community and are ever present to make sure that we can provide as much enjoyment as possible. To ensure staff do not ruin the player’s experience, they are subjected to strict policies to make sure your playing experience is fair and enjoyable.
Synopsis
OrcaCreative, as you might imagine, is a creative server. Our focus centers around a building community and we have multiple worlds to facilitate this. This server is not a plot server, plots are only used for contests. WorldEdit is available to all members throughout the creative worlds. In addition, our atmosphere is family-friendly, no rude posting allowed.

[Wild] – Default terrain creative world
[Sv] – Generic survival world for… surviving!!
[A] – Contains fun challenges that you can gain prizes from: dueling, parkour and mazes. Also contains pvp arenas

[SkyB] – SkyBlock world
[HSV] – Hardcore survival. Raiding, griefing, and pvp are all allowed.

This is a small vanilla server with a few vanilla tweaks (none are final, we are just testing them out). We are a small group of friends from Germany in our mid 20s who have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world.
At this point in time, we have figured out, sharing this great experience with more people is even better, especially because not all of our school friends play Minecraft anymore.
Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy.
There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. We can always connect each other through the nether
You have total freedom of everything as long as you respect the few rules that are stated on our discord server, like the use of common sense when doing something that could hurt someone else’s feelings or builds. Play on the server so everyone can have the best possible vanilla experience.
We have grown into a small european community with people from all over Europe atm.
We wanted to play snapshots at first but we had some issues with the Snapshots, therefore we created a new World with a new host in the 1.15.2 Version and will update as soon as 1.16 is out.
Features:
– This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed.
– We will upgrade to 1.16 once it is out. Refresh Nether aswell.
– We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes.
– There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. Literally the scoreboard command will be used, because we like to see how often someone dies when pressing tab
We are testing out some data packs(my first time ever), just to tweak the experience a tiny bit. These are not final and might be changed in the future, depending on what the majority thinks is too much or needs to be added.
– Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun)
– Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun)
– The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it’s been raided for thousands of blocks already)
– Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above, but this might be too much)
– XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text)
– AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active)
Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 1 person needs to sleep, like in Singleplayer)
