Focilleat is for the most part a Factions server which employs some plugins and tweaks to make the game a bit harder. This server is not for the faint of heart. We use ExtraHardMode to keep things interesting and have an economy and use Factions to allow players to interact with each other as a community if they wish to do so.
We also have two creative worlds. One is public that anyone can build on and the other is for our elite creative team. In order to build on the elite creative map one must show their ability to build on an epic scale and be able to follow a project through to completion.

What is YourMC?
YourMC is a survival server that was started back in January 2013, and is currently on it’s 2nd map (which was started in November 2014). The servers difficulty is set to hard, so be careful. PvP is optional. A player may toggle PvP on for themselves with ‘/pvp’, and fight with other players that also have their PvP enabled.

You’ve seen this before. You join a new server only to spend the first 30 minutes going through mazes of abandoned builds, without a tree in sight. And by the time you find a place to start your home, youre starving, and youre all alone. (which kind of defeats the purpose of playing on a server)
When you join YourMC for the first time, you’ll be placed in our server spawn. Then when you wish to start playing you go up to the region post and type ‘/home’. Youll be teleported to an area with plenty of trees, ores, and land to start your adventure. Yes, you heard me. Within the first few minutes of joining the server youre actually playing the game. Best part is the fact that youll be in an area where other new players are starting out to.
Flexible and Easy to Use Land Claiming:
Land protection is a big deal. Without it, you’d live in fear that your house wouldn’t be there the next day. But, if it’s too complicated you may be unable to protect your work.
That’s why we use Grief Prevention. You may of heard of it before If not, Grief Prevention allows you to use a golden shovel for land claiming/resizing and a stick for checking if the land youre looking at is claimed or not. Land claiming is simple. All you have to do is right click at one corner with your golden shovel and then again at the opposite corner. Creating land claims also requires and uses claim blocks You start out with 500 and get an extra 200 every hour you play. (For reference: A 10 by 10 land claim uses 100 claim blocks) Allowing other people access to your claim is also easy with the trust commands. (see here) You can even create subdivisions inside your claim with /subdivideClaims for more fine grain control of permissions (i.e. allow another player to only be able to build in a part of your claim)
On top of that, we also use Core Protect for block logging and rollback. So even in the rare case you do get griefed, the damaged areas can always be repaired.
Clean and Readable Chat:
Gone are the days of rainbow colored names and prefixes that take up half of chat. On YourMC our chat system was designed with a clean look and readability in mind. Ever since day one we have been refining and improving the look of our chat and we’re still making improvements to it even to this day. So say goodbye to the rainbow colored text and hello to the readability.
Peace of Mind:
Backups This is something I’ve seen many servers fail at. On YourMC you can play with the peace of mind that off-site backups are performed every 24 hours. So your work is fully protected in the event of world corruption, human error, or even a catastrophic hardware failure resulting in data loss.
This also comes with our ‘Map Reset Guarantee’–that in the event of a map reset (which happens very rarely) the old map will be put up for download and you can download your own copy of the map for personal use.
Along with all of this, our server is also fully compliant with the updated Minecraft EULA that was put into effect back in August 1st, 2014. This means that we do not sell any gameplay effecting benefits in our ranks. Which results in everyone, whether they bought a rank or not, to all have a fair chance.

Minecraft Worlds
The original Updawg world was created in 2011. Since then it has been built up, updated, upgraded, expanded and revamped. Don’t worry, there is still plenty of land near the spawn for the taking! Although the original Updawg world is still very much alive, many other worlds have been added and our players are able to portal from one to the next. To accommodate many times of players there are PVP and Non-PVP worlds and you may freely portal between them on the same server. All worlds at this time are Survival style worlds. We run several mods to assist players in their gaming experience. The full list of mods can be found below. There is an in game tutorial to help you understand how to use the mods that are running on the Updawg server. There is something different we do with the Updawg server that seems to set us apart from other Minecraft servers. From time to time we go in to a Temporary Chaos period. You can read more about this below.
MODS
The mods that we have selected are mainly for player use. This includes line-of-sight teleportation, warping, in game mail, currency system, multiple worlds, block protection, chest protection, and much more. We even have a mod that will allow us to import builds from other maps. Simply speak with an admin about getting your builds from other worlds pasted in to the Updawg world! Here is the list of mods currently in use:

— WorldEdit (copy/paste blocks from other maps, admins only)
— WorldGuard (block and chest protection)
Temporary Chaos
Whenever a large update for Minecraft is release, it takes time for the mod developers to update the mods we are using. Sometimes this takes weeks. We could wait to enjoy the content that was provided by the Minecraft update but we don’t. Instead we start a Temporary Chaos period. During this time our Updawg worlds are backed up and put aside. We launch a brand new world that is fully up-to-date with the new Minecraft release so we can enjoy all the new content and start acquiring all the new items. PVP is enabled, there is no block protection for your builds, and we do not run any mods while the Temporary Chaos period is active. During this time you are allowed to kill other players freely and steal from their chests if you can find them. This is a great time to put all of your trap building skills in to good use. Once the mod developers release their updates we then update the Updawg worlds and bring them back online. There will be a warp in the “Nexus” that will allow you to travel from the Updawg worlds back to the Temporary Chaos world so that you are able to gather up everything you acquired and bring it all back to the Updawg worlds. Don’t forget to do this because whenever we start a Temporary Chaos period, the previous Temporary Chaos world is deleted. So go kill, loot, and HIDE!
