𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬
1. Be respectful. Any disrespect towards another player will result in a warning, and if repeated, a mute. If disrespectful to a staff member, you could be subject to temporary ban.
2. This is a profanity-free server, so no cursing or slurring. If caught, you’ll be warned, and if repeated, you’ll be muted.
3. Do not spam. If caught spamming, you’ll be muted.
4. Use of hacked clients and alternate accounts is prohibited here. If caught using one or the other, you’ll immediately get a permanent username and ip ban.
5. If you want staff, apply for staff. Do not beg for op or staff. If you beg for staff or op, you’ll get an immediate ban.
6. Do not use spoofing, VPN or any other kind of proxy. If caught, you’ll be kicked and asked to rejoin on a non-proxy ip. If you refuse to, you’ll be name banned.
7. No advertising. If caught advertising in chat, you’ll be muted. If caught advertising through building, you’ll be banned.
8. Do not threaten to DDOS the server. If caught doing this, you’ll be permanently banned and blacklisted.

History:
Mountain Pass has a deep history dating back to late-2012.

Eight years ago, the original idea of Mountain Pass was to be a Minecraft Towny Server without any real goal besides to have fun and maybe make some new friends. The server was opened on January 1st, 2013 (Minecraft version 1.4) and was open for four years. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people.

With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity.

However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017.

Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back. We are a server which has been through a lot over time, and we all have grown up significantly in the past eight years. We’re happy you’ve found us!

Hello!

vibintime is a server meant for people to relax, chill, and play Minecraft in survival mode. There are a few plugins to make the experience better. There is a random teleport plugin, that will randomly teleport you throughout the world so you can get started, and not have to walk a bunch to find a cool area. You can use /tpa to teleport to other players, and you can /sethome to mark your base. We also have Lockette, so no one will steal your items. Griefing is a bannable offense, so please don’t do it.

We aren’t looking for staff at the moment.

Yes, the spawn is meant to be basic, because the focus point of the server is to play the game, not stay at spawn.

Element Craft

This is a semi-vanilla server that was originally created to house my friends and I on our discord server. This server has very minimal plugins and very few rules. We wanted this server to be incredibly straight forward, while still offering some form of economy and leveling + progression. We used a world generator to improve upon the boring vanilla one and make the world look a little nicer.

Our vanilla+ modpack with many optimisers ensures minimal client-side lag. Server-side, we have 16 gigs of ram + a Ryzen 9 7950x CPU, the best CPU for Minecraft SMPs in the market.

The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. We have a very special mod, the Origins mod! The Nexus SMP is looking for active players to join us! We're a long-term focused server, so we would like to see people working towards larger projects and dedicating a fair amount of game time to the community and economy. We are looking for active players, so if you drop off without notice, you are subject to removal. We try to be fairly relaxed, as we aim to build a mature community where staff don't need to parent players. However, obviously any exploiting, griefing, stealing & any sort of abuse to other players will not be accepted. We're a safe place for all, and anyone who doesn't share that interest won't be tolerated.

Ultra-Hardcore mining for 269 weeks in a row. Yippee Ki Yay, Miner Crafters.

If you die… you can earn a revive back to the Overworld by beating the weekly Sunday competition.

Sundays at 12CT there is also a special Team Competition, going now for 230 weeks now.

Current prize selections could include a revive on the persistent ultra-hardcore world, or an in-game advancement shout-out. Details in the discord channel.

Goal: Stay alive and earn the most points doing it.

Score: +1 per minute you stay alive, +1 per experience point you earn.

Examples: killing a skeleton earns 3 points, and killing the dragon earns 12,000 points.

You will start in the Spawn Ship until you are ready to enter the world.

Hold a bone block to see the server's current top scoring players.

This is UHC, but not the UHC you know! Read on to find out what's up here! I'll start with quotes from the MineCraft Wiki: Ultra Hardcore… the main difference being players cannot naturally regenerate health. Like regular Hardcore, players cannot respawn if they die. These are the important points. This is where we're coming from. This isn't one of those 30 minute speed UHCs, or even the collapsing border UHCs of later versions. GatKong created this MineCraft datapack in the spirit of that original UHC season, but made it more difficult with a few additions. On this server, this is how you'll be playing: There are no teams. Free-For-All is the order of business here. PvP is enabled, but you'll need to find other players if that's how you want to win. There's a whole world out there. No borders, shrinking or otherwise. There are a few rules you must follow if you want to stay here.
RULES:

No Griefing.

No cheating/hacking OR XRAY.

No stealing peoples items from chests.

No killing other players without a reason for it.

No dupe glitches or exploits.

Thinking about making a new, small minecraft server

This won't 100% be happening, just thinking about it at the moment, i've ran small servers in the past, did it consistently for 2 or 3 years (stopping around a year and a half ago) so i have some past experience. It'd be semi-vanilla, by that i just mean vanilla minecraft (as close to the latest version as i can get) with the addition of some qol plugins just to help prevent griefing, cheating, etc. (only rollback plugins and things so nothing to affect usual gameplay). I personally won't be using anything like voice chat however i can always add things like the simple voice chat plugin if that's what people want but otherwise won't be so only talking in chat is completely fine. I'd make this with the aim of having a nice, not too large, not too small community, im not afraid to remove people if i feel like they're violating this, obviously with warning beforehand, but im not afraid of "abusing my powers" if it means a better experience for everyone else even if nobody actually "broke the rules" in any way. I do ask that you only show interest in this if you will be present in the server – logging on now and again, once every few days minimum really – if work or school or restrictions only allow you a day or two a week thats fine too, and also not isolating yourself within the minecraft server itself, typically people do this due to fear of thieves, griefing etc. but with the plugins i'll add, any damage can be undone so this is nothing to worry about. Apologies for the long post, would prefer if people are around 14+, can make exceptions, if you're interested just send me a request or message on discord, ill try get back to you as soon as possible, again, just to let you know, this isn't 100% happening yet, just seeing if i can first get a group together.
