Here we want to offer you a good RP experience. We are open to newcomers to RP and excited to introduce them to the world of roleplaying
show and teach.

As a stranger on the colony ship, you travel to the New World Aranea. This was discovered some time ago. You dock at the port of New Marissburg and find yourself in one of the slums. There you can choose a plot of land and have the rank of a settler.
Here you can spread yourself under the Empire of Aran and build your own life.
You can be human, dwarf or elf. Each of these races have the same human abilities and differ
apart from her looks.

Obey the laws of New Marissburg or the city guard will arrest you.
The belief in the ever-kind Marissa prevails in the Empire. Any other faith will quickly dismiss you as a heretic.

Work your way up the ranks, learn a trade, become a master in your field.
You can also earn a title of nobility, perhaps even administering your own county.

What we offer:

-Role playing game
The server follows a strict RP concept and is designed for everyone to roleplay on the server. Think of a character that fits the role-playing story, because for us role-playing means that you behave with your specially created character like in the Middle Ages by playing in the
Chat communicates. That’s why the chat is only audible within a certain range. We do not offer global chat.

-People
In the role-playing game, there are currently three races that you can play on. These are humans, dwarves and elves.
Appearance and race aside, all have human abilities. There are some lore-chosen and rare items that grant some supernatural abilities. However, these are limited and can only be obtained through certain paths.

-Build
As a rule, building is limited to plots of land that can be bought with the in-game currency, the Oren. However, we are open to good ideas, even outside of land, to approve building projects.
With us, however, everything is only built in survival!

-Community
We are a helpful community that is also happy to help newcomers to RP.

-Ranks
In Aranea there are quite a few ranks that you can reach. These can be reached by any player. You don’t have to be part of the team
or pay money other than the ingame currency Oren.
Each player starts as a stranger who is introduced to the basics of RP in a tutorial.
These are, for example, explanations of the OOC ((double brackets)) and the * actions (emotes).
With the selection of a piece of land in the slum you have the rank of settler. Go into the mine, do quests or do some quests to earn Oren.
With these oren you can buy a citizen license and also one of various citizen lots.
You are free to join one of the three institutions. These are the City Guard, Treasury, and Clergy.
It is also possible for you to rise to the nobility through wealth or good deeds, in which you can even administer a county or as a
king can rule.

-Currency:
The role-playing game has its own currency, the Oren. Gold can be exchanged for oren at a coin dealer.
Complete quests, farm gold in the mine or trade with other residents of the country personally or via a shop system
is based on a ChestShop.

-Institutions:
There are three important institutions on Aranea:

The City Guard:
Protect the city of New Marissburg from evildoers and lawbreakers. Enforce the law and arrest and guide criminals
before the judge.
Protect the nobility from envious people and earn a living from your activities.

The Clergy:
As a member of the clergy, it is your job to spread the faith of Marissa. Hold masses, weddings or funerals, take care of them

The Treasury:
The Treasury takes care of financial matters. If someone wants to purchase a citizen’s property, the officials are the treasury of the
first point of contact.
Manage the pay of the other institutions, issue citizen licenses or rent fields, pastures or shops. Keep an eye on the market situation and adjust prices to earn your pay.

A forum for role-playing to announce events or search for goods.
The forum also has an OOC section which, like the Discord, is available for criticism and suggestions.
