History:
Mountain Pass has a deep history dating back to late-2012.

Eight years ago, the original idea of Mountain Pass was to be a Minecraft Towny Server without any real goal besides to have fun and maybe make some new friends. The server was opened on January 1st, 2013 (Minecraft version 1.4) and was open for four years. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people.

With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity.

However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017.

Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back. We are a server which has been through a lot over time, and we all have grown up significantly in the past eight years. We’re happy you’ve found us!

With the incredible BlockHeart family ready to establish fantastic bases, a community capital city at spawn, a vibrant shopping district and natural economy, games events competitions and community builds, this really will be the server to be on. Inspired by the Zack Scott server in the 2000s, Coffinland, and HermitCraft, we welcome content creators to cover the servers if they want to.

We are a close community who are forever looking to expand our friendship group and all play together toward our beautiful cities and projects; as well as all doing our own thing and having a fun place to escape to within Minecraft.

Who are we?

Altitude is a community-centered survival network. We're one of those servers you come to call "home". We are your place to get together with friends and relax. Survival is our focus, with a few features suggested by the community to make things more interesting! We originally opened in 2015 and we've started a new world for every major Minecraft release since then, excluding 1.16. Altitude is intended for older players, but all are welcome!

Hello we are 2TMC a 21+ community server much like Hermitcraft. We are a SMP with emphasis on being friendly (with a little bit of chaos) with other players, and trying to be a welcoming community to everyone. We are running a Semi-Vanilla server with a few terrain generation mods and additional mods that enhance the vanilla experience (see list below).

We are looking for players who will be active in game on chat and on our Discord voice channels. The server is in NA but we accept players from all around the world. Discord and a mic are required! We love to chat on voice in game but it's definitely not required! We are also youtuber/streamer friendly.

Server Rules

Be Respectful
No griefing, stealing, or cheating
Chat is English only
Non-Destructive Pranks are allowed (so Hermitcraft style pranks)
Spawn area is for a spawn town
Bases must be built 250 blocks away from Spawn.
No duping except for carpet, rail and tnt.
No combat logging, this means mobs as well.
Taking items/griefing from active and maintained ruin sites is prohibited.
No hacking or hacked clients
No using others builds, items, villagers, etc without their permission.

started somewhat recently but I had to reset the world due to some problems, so its a pretty fresh start (at the time of posting this) and we don't have many players yet. Should totally join so we can do some big faction stuff (Vampirism + Werewolves). Might even have like "lore" events and characters n stuff dependent on in-game things :3

Hello!

Eternal is a very small group of friends looking to invite more people to play on the server and potentially create more friends.

As I myself am trans, we're naturally LGBTQ+ friendly.

The plan for the server is to have one place where you can jump on whenever you want, no need to force yourself to be active and all that.The world will never* reset, and the modpack and server will be kept up to date as much as possible (The server and pack itself have existed for roughly 3 years, just recently opened for others).

It'll be up to you to figure out what you want to build and do on the server with the pack. The pack itself doesn't give you any direct objectives on what to do. So there's no reason to quickly get unlimited resources then just sit there with "nothing else to do".

* There might be points where the world will reset, but it's going to be because of breaking updates, and not without the majority of people agreeing on it. But the plan is to either keep the same world forever, or at least try to for as long as possible.

The world did just get reset as I cleaned up the modpack to reduce mods and help some with lag and what not. So everyone is currently starting fresh.

Naturally as we're a friend group, you're obviously allowed to invite any of your friends as well. They do however still need to be above 18 and apply like normal.

There aren't too many rules as like mentioned, we're all friends. But there's still some:

Have common sense.
Be older than 18 years.
As we're all friends, swearing is ok as long as it's within reason.
No hacking, duping, x-ray etc. Goes back to rule 1.
What is your favorite color, tell me once applied.
As we have Open Parties and Claims, try not to block others from expanding their claims.
1. Don't use more loaded chunks than you need, no need to overload the server. Goes back to rule 1.
We all have different kind of humor, I for example can handle and enjoy some dark ones at times. But read the room, some things are better kept to yourself. Goes back to rule 1.
PvP is on, but should only be done if both agree on it.
We have the claims to help prevent this but, if someone doesn't claim the chunks they've built in, you're obviously not allow to grief. Goes back to rule 1.
