Sick of all the trite, boring servers that claim to cater to diehard raiding and PvP fans, but suck the fun out of the whole experience with corrupt staff and ridiculous rules? So are we.
Thats why we made GGPvP.
At GearGrind, we strive to provide a fun and unique PvP/raiding experience that stomps all over the status quo of typical servers. With a friendly and professional staff attuned to the concerns of our player base, and experienced administrators constantly improving the player experience, we feel we achieve that with top marks.
As Minecraft aficianados ourselves, weve played on hundreds of different servers, but never quite felt home. We loved the shops and economy set-up of the RPG servers, but werent sold on the pseudo-adventure concept. We loved the at-war atmosphere of the PvP servers, but hated the power-tripping staff and ridiculous rules preventing griefing and raiding of our enemies.
Thats why we took the best parts of those servers, with none of the bad, and combined them into adelicious blend of gaming thats sure to satisfy your undying appetite for Minecraft PvP dominance.

In addition to these fun features, we have several other plugins for the enhancement of your gameplay experience and security of our server. Features are subject to change as we are constantly listening to the feedback of our players and introducing fun new game modes and ways to play.
Rules:
We have a zero tolerance policy against any form of hacking, exploiting, cheating, or other modifications to your game client (with the exception of OptiFine). Violators will be permanently banned following review by our staff.
Be respectful to others. Swearing, spamming, or advertising in chat is punishable by ban. Racist remarks will not be tolerated.
Nether bases are prohibited. Any base found in the nether will be deleted immediately with no refund of items deleted.
Nether farms, however, are allowed.
Any attempt to grief or damage/destroy the spawn area is forbidden.
Griefing the wilderness is, however, allowed.
Do not ask or beg for a staff position on the server.
If you feel youd be a good staff member, there is an application available on our website, provided you meet the criteria.
For in-game support, please use the /pe ticket system. This will ensure a quicker response from staff.

One of the most important part of any paper, including Descriptions, is your thesis. This should be a single sentence which starts off your description in a way that draws readers (and potential players) in to read the rest of your description while plastering a quick and effective “happy” image of your server into their heads.
A good way to start a thesis is just picture your server in your head and make a sentence starting with “my server is…” don’t give this sentence too much thought you want it to be what comes to mind when you think of your server. For example, lets say the server is a community based survival server where your all about making friends with every player and playing together; your sentence would be something like “my server is a community based survival server with no griefing.” it’s not the actual thesis but its good to build on.
The next step to building a strong thesis is adding a “hook”. This needs to be a way to draw readers in and make them want to read the rest of the description. This means make the thesis something that makes the server sound appealing by using more positive words and highlighting the better aspects of your server. A good thesis should be positive and to the point while not going on too long.
For a bit of context of the history of this server:
I was the original founder of lapilli in February of 2021, but then I couldn’t sustain the server any longer so it closed. Then a few months later my friend opened what is known as lapilli 2, even if going by the name Diturnus. That ended after the owner abused his power and blamed it on me, he banned me. After that most people left. Then cojer started a server and it seemed fine until recently…
then we restarted the server with mods! Including origin. All you need is our modpack (In our discord), and if you use the curseforge app it’s very simple to install the mods! Just click “Create Custom Profile”, and “import”, and then click the modpack!!
If you’re not going to be active in the server, and respectful of the rules, then don’t join. We allow and appreciate mature and respectful human beings.
Finally, if you think this server is a group of 12 years old with a free server, you’re wrong. We might have a free server, but are not 12 year olds. We are a very historical server that spans back a few years, and we don’t have a dedicated server because of lack of funds. We’re not a huge server but we love our community

Community vanilla server with plugins for added difficulty such as modified/hardened Ai, light grief prevention and a few other plugins to make the game feel refreshed and difficult.
Players can protect their builds but every time you die you will lose a heart (Unless another is crafted) PVP is enabled and the rules are as follows: Theft and murder is allowed in Narzoo, Players are encouraged to fortify to protect their builds. Griefing in Narzoo is NOT allowed! NO OTHER RULES! Apon depletion of all hearts, you shall be banned and all claimed lands will become unclaimed.
Players are encouraged to create the most powerful towns/governments of the server, either compete as one or fight for victory! (Players can also earn ranks/titles and potential staff)
(HELLSTORMS: Every 6-8 in game days mob hordes storm the server, mobs become 8x harder in full generated gear and drop 50% more XP, players are encouraged to take shelter when this happens, even with end game gear)
