Welcome to ExCubed! I appreciate you checking us out and I hope we can offer a semi-vanilla experience that you can enjoy.

We’re a whitelisted semi-vanilla survival server with a focus on community and consistency. The only differences between us and a normal Vanilla server would be the inclusion of McMMO (for quality-of-life gameplay improvements), Harbor (allows the server to turn to day without all members sleeping) and CoreProtect (for grief protection, prevention, and logging).

We’re a whitelisted server to protect our community from excessive disruption, as well to control player influx, however we have a very high acceptance rate of applications. We expect when playing on the server that you do not grief, and are respectful to the other players and staff. We’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t use overly vulgar language or themes in the chat or the Discord. We’ve a full list of the rules here, but you get the idea.

As a final note, I’d like to ask everyone to please report any bugs, issues, or even suggestions to myself or one of our fine staff members. We’d love to hear from you on how to make this a better experience for everyone!

About the server: Events are gonna be hosted daily on the
server with a prize of $50 Paypal. You can participate in as many events
as you want even if you have won before. Each events value $50 IRL
money so be sure not to miss any of them! Only the winner receives the
prize. How to participate in an event? There is two
different ways to participate in an event. The first option is from
buying an EventPass or a HeroicPass. These Passes gives you special
perks and an instant /tp to our events! EventPass Perks: Instant TP to events. Ability to revive anyone. Special coloured chat (/cc). HeroicPass Perks: All perks from EventPass Ability to skip 2 rounds in the event. Win prize $60 instead of $50.
You can purchase a pass in our server store. The second option is for
people who don’t have a pass. Players with no pass will be teleported in
a minigame area where they will have to complete a short parkour and a
short maze under a time limit. Players who successfully complete the
minigame under the time limit will be auto tped to the event hall. If
you don’t complete the minigame then you won’t get entered in the event
but like I said we do events daily so you can always come back for
another event.

Who are we?

GG is a server of, as the name implies, Grownup Gamers – most of whom have known each other for many years, and many of whom have met up IRL! We host and play a (mostly) vanilla Minecraft survival server, but we are known to dabble in some fun party games on weekends occasionally. While we require all members to be 18 and above, most of our active player base are well into their 30s and 40s, have jobs and/or families, and have the kind of lives that don’t magically refill by eating raw cod.

In terms of our Minecraft SMP, we’ve got a little bit of everything! A friendly, helpful, and supportive community. We want to make your time with us as productive, enjoyable, and fun as possible! We have absolutely zero tolerance for bigotry, drama, -isms, and outright negativity towards any player for any reason. While that’s not to say we don’t ever discuss current events or external dramas, we’re definitely not the place for constant political talk or uncomfortable topics being shoved down anyone’s throats. We take great pride in providing a safe, comfortable, chill, and welcoming space for our players to call home.
Java/Bedrock compatibility. With Geyser, enjoy seamless play sessions between Java and Bedrock simultaneously. Our dedicated bedrock help staff is always happy to assist with any update issues, and we have a healthy contingent of active bedrockers.

Content Creator friendly. While we welcome content creators of all varieties, our server doesn’t focus on content production. From there, you’ll need to submit a whitelist ticket. Once we can be sure you’ve had a good read of our rules (and, you know, have mastered basic reading comprehension!), we’ll be happy to pop you onto the whitelist, and you’ll be ready to go, just like that! Aura Skills – Introduces skills and stats into Minecraft. Such skills include Agility, Excavation, Enchanting, and even Sorcery. Some of the stats include Strength, Regeneration, and Luck.

Acuteloot – This one adds in literally BILLIONS of new and unique items you can find. There's things such as specially named items, items with particle effects, and a few unique ones that add some fun mechanics to the game. You can find Acuteloot items in naturally spawned chests, or you might get lucky while enchanting.

In addition to the usual server accouterments, we also have an active Discord community where players can chat and hang out. Our in-game chat is also linked to the main Discord channel, so even when you aren't at your computer, you can stay connected! Hermit Ruins, after a short little hiatus is finally ready to welcome new members into our thriving community. Originally started in 2023, based off of a server from 2021, we are a simple vanilla server with a tight-knit bunch of people from all over the world. The server has been open for about 2 months now, and the amount of people online isn't as much as it was, but still sees peaks of 5-10 people on at certain times. We are looking for more members to join our little community of like minded individuals. Here are some of our main features:

Friendly People – All members are kind, mature, and welcoming of all people. We have a nice relaxed environment where everyone is welcome to be themselves.
Vanilla Plus – We have a small selection of handpicked datapacks that add QoL changes that throw a little spice of life into the vanilla experience. Here are some of our most prominent packs: fast leaf decay, more mob/player heads and mini blocks, custom armor statues, confetti creepers, multiplayer sleep, double Shulker shells, and many more subtle tweaks. That being said, we don't use any game breaking plugins like land claiming or pay to win ranks, or any such feature alike.
Mature community – Since we are whitelisted, we can insure a safe place for all people. If you plan on joining, we ask that you be at least 16 years of age, and mature.
Redstone ready – The server is running on 1.21 Fabric, so you don't have to worry about Paper/Purpur's optimisations that can be devastating for Redstone contraptions. Just please don't make laggy machines that crash the server.
Easy connectivity – The server is up and running 24/7, only down for routine backups throughout the day. No mods are required to join.
Fun – We will be holding several community projects, mini games, game nights, and server wide events, and everyone's welcome to participate!

In 1.20.1, Stack of Grass Season 2, is a smallish server hosted in Australia with intent to have a close knit community with a focus on socialising and world building!

So, in short, what makes us different?

Player Base:

Whitelisted. Preferably 18+, we are looking for a chill ambiance on the server. This is the ideal server if you are looking for something calm with mature people.

The Gameplay:

Stack of Grass is trying to offer a "Vanilla+++" feeling to the world of Minecraft by adding Mods that enhance the building and adventuring world with several ways to progress through the game! The main feature mods on the server are “Ars Nouveau”, “The Graveyard”, “Chipped”, and “Mystical Agriculture”. There are a few QoL mods such as “Sophisticated Backpacks”, “Sophisticated Storage”, “Farmer’s Delight”, and “Waystones”. You can, therefore, expect A LOT more food, and A LOT of decorative items to make your area as attractive as possible!

The Commands:

Player have access to /home /sethome and other teleporting commands. Waystones are also available.

The In-Game Social:

We have integrated a proximity voice chat to the game for ease of communication, so a mic is a plus! Stack of Grass is trying to create a heavy emphasis toward community building in the sense of town building. Players are rewarded for establishing towns and creating "town building".

The Server Life:

Admins on Stack of Grass are adding scripted Dungeons. Rewards upon completion will be newly available after a few minutes. Gather your friends and take on the challenge we are creating to open various treasure chests and get that sweet, sweet loot! We are also making little events for everyone to enjoy and get the community together.

Edit: Just as a general note, this is not a new server and this season has been running since early April, 2024. If players been at different levels bothers you significantly, this may not be the server for you.
