Welcome to the Banished Lands, a world where survivors and adventures thrive. We welcome any and all who dare try make a name for themselves among legends, will you be a kind and helpful soul or will you be a cutthroat criminal? This is a server dedicated to a pre-faction retro feeling with a hub which dedicates itself as the last bastion of humanity with traders and a grain of salvation. – Challenge: 3.0 – While the lack of rules adds an element of unpredictability and challenge, the server may not be as challenging as some players would like. The focus is more on freedom and chaos rather than structured challenges.

– Community: 3.5 – The community on Based MC is quite lively, with regular polls and a constant dialogue with players. However, the lack of rules and repercussions for griefing and PVP may lead to a toxic atmosphere at times.

– Overall Experience: 4.0 – Playing on Based MC is like diving headfirst into a meme-filled, chaotic world where anything goes. The lack of rules can be both liberating and frustrating, depending on your perspective. CloudMC season 4 has officially launched and it's time for you to play!

The map of CloudMC season 4 is something you have not seen yet! The map features 2 vertical stacked dimensions, which are the overworld and sky islands and possibly a cave world coming soon….

To claim a nation, you make a team in-game to set your home, and use the map in discord to mark your land so its protected from griefers and thieves. Claims are enforced through staff, so any damage done by outsiders will be rolled back.

When you have a nation to server, its important to establish relations with others, like alliances and trade deals. This is to build up your own power and perhaps undermine your rival's power.

If you need to, you can declare war. In wars, KeepInventory is turned off, and its a team deatchmatch to control the battlefield. And remember, good planning, clever tactics and dicipline amongst your soldiers is the key to success! (example of war https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zor2KtiLyx4)

Something SMP

Hello all! We are currently looking for mildly to extremely active players to join the Minecraft server known as the Something SMP! We have lore/roleplay on a modded server (mods of which include origins, image to map, enderite, claims, voice chat, and discord integrations, just to name a few).

However, it is NOT a requirement to be apart of the lore if you just want to play on the server!!
Just a heads up though, there are a few people on the server who do stream, so if you're uncomfortable with appearing on livestream that's something to note.

If any of you are interested, you can join the discord server here. You can go into #applications to submit an application, and you can read more via the pinned message in #Something SMP info (It is required to join the discord server, as it has the custom modpack, server announcements and the rules of the server, this process also reduces the number of griefers and trolls).

If you have any questions about the server, or anything related to that, feel free to ask me or any other staff member. We are happy to answer any queries you may have! You can do so on the discord server or here in the comments.

Some other things to note include:

This is a java server, with no plans for bedrock to be included at this stage.
We have our end & nether reset every few months, so new players don’t have to spend as long hunting for nether & end items.
The server owner is on GMT+8, so feedback regarding your application may be slow depending on your timezone.
Most staff members are also on GMT+8, so applications may be slow depending on when it’s submitted.
