Do you remember the good old days of classic survival servers? You know, the times where people got to enjoy Minecraft for what it was, without all the bloatware and corporatism you see today?

I made this server because I feel nostalgic of what good survival servers used to be like, especially in the mid-2010s. I remember how happy I was as a kid to log onto a server to play survival with friends. Things were simple, straightforward, and most importantly, fun.

I want to recreate the same joy I felt back then in this server, by solving the 3 main problems I see with survival servers (and honestly, all servers in general) nowadays:

#1. A completely non-pay-to-win system that allows players to earn ranks. Not separate “earnable” ranks, but actual ranks with all the benefits.

#2. A balanced and regulated player-based economy that uses actual data to avoid abuse and inflation, supplemented by fair income sources.

#3. A prioritization of quality over quantity. I see too many SMPs trying to be “unique” by doing ironically common things like quests, dungeons, and earth maps. I think the best way is to improve upon existing, necessary features that work well together, instead of adding so many conflicting features that never get finished.

Quick overview of the server details:

◘ Survival Vanilla Minecraft on hard difficulty.
◘ Inventory items are dropped on death, no exceptions.
◘ PVP Enabled everywhere except for claims and 64×64 spawn-protection.
◘ Economy consists of resources/items gathered ingame through player trading.
◘ Money is earned by receiving dropped cash notes through slaying monsters and gathering valuable resources.
◘ Claims cost money to expand and create. There are also taxes and upkeep costs.
◘ Players can combine their LAND to form a nation, which can in turn go at war with eachother.
◘ Being at war with another nation or LAND makes it so you can PVP in each respective zone.

The Starship Arvia
A Unique Roleplay Experience
Welcome to the S.S. Arvia! You have just awoken from cryogenic slumber. The S.S. Arvia is the flagship for the Space Colonization Program launched by the Republic of Draea. The mission of this program is to establish new colonies on unexplored planets in our solar system.
The S.S. Arvia began its journey with 200 active crew members, and over 1,000 cryogenically frozen colonists. The starship was doing a fantastic job, and had already established five colonies on various planets before catastrophe hit.
On the seventh year of its mission, the crew of the starship suddenly found themselves surrounded by complete darkness. They called this phenomenon The Void. Crew members began to go missing the farthest depths of the ship, and search parties were formed. Few members of the search parties returned, and the ones who did needed immediate medical attention. They told tales of of terrifying monsters that took pleasure in killing and consuming their friends and families.
By the time a fighting squad had been assembled, it was too late to save most of the ship from the infestation. Now the Spawn Hub and Eco Hub are the only remaining spaces that are safe to inhabit. The Alpha Sector that connects the ship has been sealed, and the crew is extremely small.
The Admiral, in sheer desperation, enacted Operation Failsafe. This program allowed for colonists to be awoken from their cryogenic slumber to become active crew members.
Your job as a crew member is to complete quests, assist in research, and protect the endangered Space Colonization Program.

Complete Quests
Through the use of plugins such as Citizens, Denizen, and Quests, users can experience an immersive RP experience by completing a variety of different types of missions. Of course, the completion of these quests do not go unrewarded.

Fight Monsters
Crew Mates are able to fight custom monsters that have unique drops.

Conquer A Challenging Economy
Our goal is to create an economy where users can set goals, and face the necessary task of budgeting their money. Several NPCs act as shopkeepers, and are spread throughout the ship.

Key Features
Community Projects:
No matter who you are or what you enjoy doing, there’ll always be a project you can work on. Currently, we’re working on building our Nether Hub; remodeling the End island; building various community farms; creating a proper town at the server spawn with a museum, court, etc.

Active Discord:
Our Discord is active almost 24/7. Joining the voice call is, of course, not required but it is highly encouraged and adds a ton to the server experience. We’re a friendly bunch and always open to meeting new people.

Diverse Community:
We’ve got players from the United States, Europe, Central America, etc. Everyone is treated equally (for better or worse) and nobody will care what you identify as or who you are attracted to.

Free Speech:
You will not be punished for having an opinion or making a joke. Criticizing staff, criticizing the server, voicing your opinions, etc., is allowed and encouraged. We don’t take things personally, provided you’re not actively causing problems.

Vanilla Experience:
The server runs with minimal plugins. We use CoreProtect to mitigate griefing and theft, and a few plugins to manage lag (nothing that will break your farms) and facilitate server management. There are no teleports, no land claims, no economy plugins, nothing that will subtract from vanilla gameplay. We do have the Realistic Seasons plugin to add some variety, but this can be disabled easily by the player.

Democracy:
Almost all major decisions pertaining to the server are left to a vote. Map resets, staff appointments, rule changes, etc., are all left to a vote. Feedback is always welcome and sincere feedback is taken seriously.

Creative Server:
Prototype builds and have fun with full access to game-mode commands, WorldEdit commands, VoxelSniper commands, and more on our creative server! Build Battles and other competitions are hosted regularly on the creative server.

Competent Staff:
All staff members are over 18, experienced, and generally friendly. Moderators and administrators do not power trip and will promptly removed from the staff team if they do. If you have any problems, we will solve them quickly and completely.

No P2W:
There are no donation roles, buyable cosmetics, or anything like that. You will never be solicited for money and categorically do not accept donations of any kind. The point of the server is to have fun and make friends, not to be profitable.

Server Rules:
Griefing and theft are forbidden. CoreProtect is used to enforce this.
Hacks, x-ray, and glitches are forbidden. TNT, carpet, & rail duping are permitted.
Spam and excessive self-promotion are forbidden. This includes mic-spam.
Discord TOS violations will result in a ban from our Discord.
Sexually-explicit content is forbidden.
Employ basic social etiquette in the VC.

ComfySMP is a lightly upgraded vanilla/anarchy server with just enough enhancements to greatly improve the experience. Building, pvp and /tpa are allowed everywhere in the server.

Comfysmp is set to publicly release on 4/6/22 using a unique new seed that generates a chillin landscape with access to many different biomes all within 3000 blocks of spawn. You will be able to join on java edition 1.9.x – 1.18.x, but I highly recommend using 1.18.x to avoid errors. The server is running with 16GB of RAM, 1TB nvme SSD storage and a goal of 24/7 uptime. As of its new release: Comfy is a lightly upgraded vanilla/anarchy server with just enough enhancements to greatly improve the experience. Helpful commands such as /tpa, /tpahere, /back, /kill, /ignore etc… are available as well as small additions, for example the ability to mine mob-spawners with a silk enchantment. When you log in, expect to be spawned in at a random location near the central spawnpoint, and from there its up to you! Building, pvp and /tpa are allowed everywhere in the server. No hang-ups like accepting rules, spawns, warps, tutorials, verifications etc… just log in and immediately start playing! My main inspirations were past enhanced vanilla servers I have ran, as well as classics like 2b2t. I also recommend using: [Faithful 1.18 texture pack: https://faithful.team/ ][OptiFine: https://optifine.net/home ] (both optional). Griefing/raiding is allowed. Because of this its advisable to team up, and try to build your bases farther away from spawn. What is not allowed: excessive spamming, promoting, intentional lagging/crashing, over-the-top hack clients which sabotage the server or give you too much of an advantage, any attempt to shut the server down. This is a non-profit project which will have no paid features, please consider voting as it’ll really help us to grow our playerbase. This is a brand new server, with a brand new world file, let’s fill it up. We are actively looking for help/suggestions/criticisms/team members/discord mods. Hello Witches and Adventurers!~~ I’ve started a SMP server with 16 mods and extensive ram to run them. This will be using curseforge to easily download and run the modpack.

First time setup takes around 10-15 minutes, but after it’s set up, you only have to click play on it in the future!

This mod implements Alchemy into minecraft. It assigns every item a energy value and you can use this value to transmute items in other items so long as you are using equal value~ that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Xenolith is a project where you can enjoy the game in the form in which it was conceived by the developers, without donations that affect the gameplay.

Our project has 2 main divisions:
• anarchy, where everything is allowed except cheats
• survival without griefing on a private server with whitelist

Servers are classic survival. Let’s not lie, there are simple plugins on the servers, but they do not affect the original gameplay. Here you will not find commands such as /home, /kit start, /tp, /spawn and the like. Creepers and bosses can destroy buildings, endermen can steal blocks, and so on. All movements around the world are created by you. For example, it is most convenient to travel long distances through hell, for this we have developed a special coordinate calculator on our website – http://xenolith.ru/p/calc.html

Regarding the private whitelist server:
The server has strict rules regarding PvP, construction, griefing. Any intruder will be blocked, and damage done to players will be repaired. To do this, logs of players’ actions are kept on the server.
