Altum is a “Heavyish” roleplaying server for Minecraft. This means, while we have various heavy features of a server, such as lore, restrictive classes, skills and what-not, we’re not going to force you to speak “in character”. Feel free to do so, however. In fact, we encourage it. However, keep it to local chat, as the act of roleplaying is cheapened by the ability to shout to someone on the other side of the map.

We launched back in 2020 with a goal, we wanted players to experience something different but keeping that same Minecraft feel so we came up with DOOM.

This server challenges the most experienced Minecraft players with a reward far outweighing the anger and stress you may feel when playing, Players are tasked with grinding out the game, slaying the Dragon and pocketing themselves the cash reward of $116 USD it’s no easy task…. here are some of the changes.

Skeletons, Zombies and any other form of undead mob will no longer burn in the daylight.

Natural regeneration has been disabled meaning you cannot eat food and heal and must now use regeneration potions or golden apples.

All passive mobs are hostile towards the player including zombified piglin.

The focus is primarily building out your colony and supporting the citizens requirements while THEY run and operate everything in it. We just provide the tools and they do the work. It’s a lot of building, focus and commitments to ensuring they all survive. So instead of you having to do everything including building houses, buildings, etc., the MineColonies Builders take care of all that.

This is a family owned modded server with the focus on building everything in a large world. It gets frequent updates of each mod and Forge Releases.

It’s a secure “Adult” server and whitelisting is required so access should be requested through our website. The focus of this server is NO GRIEFING, owning villages and building out your homes.
