Vallendia Arena – MMORPG / RPG KitPvP Server Upgrades, Classes, Abilities
Vallendia is a project that weve been working on for a while now. The idea started as a survival RPG server inspired by Dungeons Dragons, but since then weve temporarily switched over to a smaller-scale minigame. This server is still inspired by DND, but is now similar to a kitpvp server that has kits or classes which all have their pros and cons. In the game, players kill other players and custom monsters to gain points that you can use as currency to purchase over 100 custom coded abilities and spells. Abilities vary based on your class and you can mix and match however you want be an assassin that sticks to the shadows or a mage blasting artillery from a distance! You can also use these points to purchase upgrades to stats such as health, speed, damage, and more. As you gain more points and upgrades, you will gain levels which show just how powerful you are. Your level also determines how many points you gain for killing and lose for dying. Currently the server is in whitelist and we are working on a few things before we release alpha. Hello all! We are currently looking for mildly to extremely active players to join the Minecraft server known as the Something SMP! We have lore/role-play on a modded server (mods of which include origins, image to map, enderite, claims, voice chat, and discord integrations, just to name a few).
However, it is NOT a requirement to be apart of the lore if you just want to play on the server!!
Just a heads up though, there are a few people on the server who do stream, so if you're uncomfortable with appearing on livestream that's something to note.

You can go into #applications to submit an application, and you can read more via the pinned message in #Something SMP info (It is required to join the discord server, as it has the custom mod-pack, server announcements and the rules of the server, this process also reduces the number of griefers and trolls).

Some other things to note include:
- This is a java server, with no plans for bedrock to be included at this stage.
- We have our end & nether reset every few months, so new players don’t have to spend as long hunting for nether & end items.
- The server owner is on GMT+8, so feedback regarding your application may be slow depending on your timezone.
- Most staff members are also on GMT+8, so applications may be slow depending on when it’s submitted.
- This season's lore cut-off point has already passed, so you won't be able to join lore this season, but you can still join next season's lore.

One of the key gameplay aspects of Alathra is its lore, roleplay (RP) and geopolitics. Custom World
The map of Alathra is completely custom, designed from scratch using a combination of tools to encourage exploration trade and geopolitics. The world consists of continents separated by oceans and is divided into four temperature zones. Along with enhancements to vanilla biomes, the map also includes many new biomes such as red sand deserts, tropical beaches, calcite mountains, giant spruce forests, mangrove islands, prairies, steppes and more! Custom Plugins
Alathra has its own dedicated team of developers who are consistently develop new plugins and features that give Alathra a unique feel that we guarantee you won't find on other servers. Some examples include lockpicking, a custom war system, character cards, medieval weapons, a fast travel port system, regional resources and so much more!
Movecraft
Movecraft is a plugin that allows you to create moveable ships, from small fishing boats to large Man o' Wars! Fill your ships with chests for trade or line them with cannons for war. The version of Movecraft Alathra uses is also specifically written and configured to allow for naval combat.
Brewing
The Brewery plugin allows you to create many different interesting brews as well as the many custom brews that have been made by players. Become your town's barkeeper! Experiment to see how many of hundreds of custom brews you can discover.

Rules
Alinea is a cooperative server, so most things that do not actively ruin the experience for other players are permitted. You can check an updated summary of the rules on our website. Various settlements on the server might agree to some additional rules amongst themselves.
Unstable enchantments
Alinea has a custom expansion to the vanilla enchantment system. Once you are rich and swimming in resources, you can try creating some unstable enchantments. Combining two max-level vanilla enchanted books, it will create an unstable book of the next level. These books cannot be added to tools or equipment, but must be polished by combining them with enchantment polish in an anvil. However, enchantment polish is extremely expensive.
Many enchantments are available up to level 20, but so far no one has managed to forge a book that powerful. Overpowered books, most notably looting, fortune and efficiency, do not have unstable variants, and are locked to the vanilla enchantment limit.
