Tales of Acanem is a light D&D styled Roleplay server taking influences from D&D mechanics and tossing in a few features from the Witcher- while keeping a dark and gritty theme. Minecraft servers are bloated and ruin the fundamental gameplay mechanics of the core game. Our main server, abbreviated as OSMC, stands for Oldschool Minecraft. OSMC gives you a nostalgic experience for you to reminiscence the past. The only server mechanics added for quality of life purposes are chest, furnaces, and door protections. We want you to enjoy the game without drastically game-changing features. Every player will always be equal, and every player must survive the harsh elements of the world. We are a friendly non griefing non stealing server, just a group of people trying to build and create some cool stuff. There is a public building area for shops or neat creations, or anything you want to build there. You can choose to live in the town or go out and do your own thing, the world is your oyster. We also have a separate creative server for building or testing machines for your convenience!

We have a unique “chapters” system where we will start with a specific world border and have it increase as the town expand. This increase will happen based on preferences of the camp members during every month’s campfire meeting. Note that border can only increase if the previous increase was 1 months or earlier. Every increase of world border will increase the chapter number.
Every month, we will host a campfire meeting where we will discuss matters related to the camp, and we will occasionally have challenges in store for the members!
We will also have camp occupations, where campers can sign up for jobs that they can work at. These jobs are all aimed to make the camp a better place! Example of these are: Police Department – Catches rule breakers and jails them, Town Designers – fitting non-user builds to holiday themes.
