ABOUT US

We are a small group of friends who have played Minecraft together over the past few years. We are looking for a few more people to join our relatively new multiplayer server that started on Saturday, April 25. Some of the community aspects of our past servers include a spawn town, community builds (town hall, nether hub, etc.), shops, community farms, games, and more. So far we consistently have 2-4 players online and at peak hours from 9 pm-2 am est we have upwards to 10 players on at the same. We are only looking for a few more players that will be active and contribute to the server in a positive way.

About:

MOGL is all about giving players a unique Minecraft experience. Although it incorporates elements of Role-Play, GTA, The Sims, etc. It doesn’t restrict you to one play style. Adventure in our Darkzone. Roelplay with friends. Farm promotion levels in your job. Get into real estate. Become a drug manufacturer. In MOGL, the opportunities are endless!

Core Features

Jobs:

There are a variety of Jobs you can select from. For an example, we’ll talk about Miner. As a Miner, you head into the city mine and start mining. Each ore gives you different amounts of money and a little EXP for that Job. Earn enough EXP to level up and get PROMOTED. After being promoted, you’ll receive an increase in pay. Reach max promotion level, and you can prestige!

Some of our jobs include: Miner, Lawn Mower, Waste Collector, Farmer, Cop, Plumber, and more!

Crime:
If you’re looking to become a criminal, it’s easy! There are no procedures or knowledge requirements. Just like in real life, if you want to be a criminal, you just have to commit a crime (we do not endorse real crime). Go break a window, murder someone, hot wire a vehicle, rob someone, break into a home, or even start producing illegal potions.

If you’re tired of being a lowlife criminal, create a GANG and start making money off of your gang member’s crimes.

Properties:
After a while, renting doors may not be as exciting as it used to be. You want to build! You want to start a business! You want a customized hideout for your gang! Properties allow you to do all this, and more! You can even open up your own HOTEL! Manage it, build on it, sell it, corner the market, get into real estate!

Darkzone:
Uncover the mysteries surrounding the city. Fight mutated creatures and make your way through a handcrafted, overgrown city. Traverse the toxic landscape and delve deep into the ancient factories that started it all. Farm for Darkpower to increase your strength against the mutated. Find Honey Traders along the way to sell the Honey you collect from the mutated. Explore and discover hidden paths, shortcuts, and secret rooms.

The Darkzone expands with each new update. Grab a couple of friends and see how far you can make it!

History:
Mountain Pass has a deep history dating back to late-2012.

Eight years ago, the original idea of Mountain Pass was to be a Minecraft Towny Server without any real goal besides to have fun and maybe make some new friends. The server was opened on January 1st, 2013 (Minecraft version 1.4) and was open for four years. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people.

With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity.

However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017.

Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back. We are a server which has been through a lot over time, and we all have grown up significantly in the past eight years. We’re happy you’ve found us!

Cogs, Crops, and Combat!
Welcome to Cogs, Crops, and Combat! We are a lightly-modded SMP, aiming to have a modded experience, while still maintaining the nostalgic taste that vanilla Minecraft offers. We are a Hermitcraft-esque SMP, and will have a shopping district, community events, and more. The primary mod is the Create mod (Cogs), with support from Farmers Delight (Crops), and the RPG suite of weapons mods (Combat!). We have a couple more mods thrown in as well, such as a few create addons, some additional generated structures to suite our exploration needs, the Traveler's Backpack mod, and as well as a decoration mod. Overall, it is a very well thrown together pack that encompasses several areas of the game, with automation, farming, exploration, combat, building etc.
We also have some quality of life data packs, such as one person sleep, which further enhance the Minecraft SMP experience.
We plan to have a ton of community projects, at the moment, the main project is building a rail line that will connect everyone to the shopping district!
We have a core group of 4 of us that have been friends for over 7 years, which we would love to expand to everyone that logs onto our server.

Trotuserver is a Semi-Vanilla Survival Geopolitical (Civs) Roleplay Server. It's not too big so it doesn't feel crowded, but it's big enough to be very dynamic and have a strong community. We take roleplay and politics fairly seriously, and have fun doing it! The server has been run by the admins for almost 5 years – starting as a small server of classmates to an international server with a lot of history. We are primarily an English-speaking server, although we accept all people who speak different languages. The roots of the server used to be Argentine so a lot of old books or documents are written in Spanish.

The server is International so we have people from the USA, Argentina, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, UK, and many more.

The Basics: There are civilizations of all different kinds, with different cultures, religions, and government structures, and as such they have conflicts, but most importantly politics!

A lot of stuff has happened recently, is happening currently, and happened ages ago. Countries collapsing, new countries rising in power, death… and of course the repeating of history – good and bad. In general, we find ourselves to be a pretty fun and chill community – in and out of roleplay!

Warning: We are not looking for people who just PVP and don't roleplay or interact politically. PVP and wars are the icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

We also like to goof around and just hang out on our Discord server and talk. The server is always active in the discord and generally discusses a wide range of topics both in RP and out of character.

It's recommended to join a pre-existing nation to get established in the server before going off to make your own legacy!

Technical side: Generally, we stray from having a large number of plugins, so everything added is QOL (Quality of life) or enhances RP to an extreme level (Such as the map painting plugin).

There is a generation from back in 1.13 as the server is over 4 years old.

Basic Rules: The basic server rules are simple and standard, but we take them very seriously:

* Don't Steal

* Don't Hack

* Don't Dupe (No copying items/blocks)

Discord Rules:

Follow Discord's community guidelines
No threats or content encouraging or directly depicting suicide or self-harm
Harassment towards others isn't welcomed here
If a mod asks you to stop doing something or to change channels, respect that
Do not use RP channels/threads for out-of-character messages
No gore or nudity.

Application: To apply for the server, you need to have an interview with one of its members. If you are interested and want to join the server – join the discord (here) and you can start an interview through the support-ticket channel. You’ll be added to a waiting room on the discord whilst the admins review your interview, and then either accepted or denied!
