WrexSMP is a dedicated, survival-pvp-griefing server. We have one rule: There Are No Rules! If it isn’t blocked instantly, or you don’t get in trouble by a staff member for it, or told specifically not to, it’s allowed.

Our staff are all responsible, and will respect you if you respect them. No more having to worry about 10 year old admins banning you for swearing at them. The owner (wrexsti) is over 20, our youngest admin is 17 years old, and our youngest staff member is 15. We won’t side in faction wars, and we won’t deal with petty things (Although we still strongly warn you against griefing anything they build, they will most likely get revenge.)

There is no economy or player shops. Why, you might ask? We believe in getting all items yourself. If you’re not skilled enough to find or steal whatever you want, why should we give it to you? Trading is allowed, of course, there’s just no money involved in it.

Fly is allowed. Why, you may ask? Because it takes WAY too long to walk everywhere. Also, it adds challenges to fights if they’re in mid-air, and you have to think harder about fortifying your base.

Say, you just want to get on and build whatever it is you like. You can do that too. Buildzone is a large area of land, where you can build whatever you want. First-time griefing it results in a 3 day jailing. Peaceful factions are also ungriefable. TNT will not explode on you land, and your animals cannot be killed.

Join us if you want the TRUE minecraft experience. Just enough protection from grief and raiding to make it challenging, but not enough to make it impossible to start massive wars.

Welcome to Islandcraft. We are a server that is focused on making Minecraft realistic. We are known for our boats and the server has actually gotten popular off of them. We recently went under a major overhaul and gave the server a “2.0 Upgrade”. We added 2 new worlds for you guys to enjoy like out new plotworld and out build teams build yard. Our spawn city is currently closed as the island is still being worked on, and that is why you cannot escape the building at spawn. Spawn will be open once the island is complete. Our plotworld is where you can apply to be a part of the IC build team, you can have up to 3 plots and once you are done, you can flag down an admin to judge it and see if you can join our team. Our build yard is where the team builds, its a vast flat world that only team members can build on. You can explore it as much as youd like and see what our members are up to. We hope you enjoy your stay here at IslandCraft, please let us know if you have any questions.

Server History-

This is a server that started out small, and is now a server full of people. it started out with Hamachi, being run about 2 hours a day, but as more people wanted to play, I made Hamachi run all day. but yet, that still wasnt enough, I had to port forward, and on July 15th, I happened. IslandCraft was no longer Hamachi, and was running off a port as a stable server. 2 days after the port forward, we were confronted my another IslandCraft who claimed they owned the name. for 2 days, IslandCrafts name was changed to “IsleCraft”, but, someone helped us out, and got our name back also threatening a counter sue toward the other IslandCraft. the name was changed back, and we still thank him to this day. As the demand for 24/7 grew, I talked to a person about funding. luckily, they said they would pay, and IslandCraft became bigger. We were about 6 months into the 24/7 feature, and we decided we needed something new and fresh, so we came out with the IslandCraft 2.0 Upgrade. This upgrade gave us 2 new worlds, the build world and the plotworld. The plotworld was added so that people had an easier way to apply to our build team. And the build yard was added so that people didnt have to build on the main world, making it so the chances of a spawn greif very unlikely. We also reset the worlds and ranks to have a fresh start, were still working on some permissions, but other than that the server is running strong, and we thank all those who support us.

How to apply for builder-

To apply for builder, you must go on the server and go to our plotworld [/warp PlotWorld]. From there, claim a plot, and build the best you can. Your build will be judged within 3 days of the build. When your build is complete, please leave a sign on the south side of the build letting the admins know that it is done. If you dont make it, you can still build in the plotworld.

What’s this server like?
This is a small server with a dedicated community of players. It’s owned and maintained by cyberg and candlefire29.Cyberspace is a server built for everyone, and I’m proud to say that we have never permanently banned a player. We have superior protection against griefers, thieves, spammers, and other rule-breakers, and if someone does manage to bypass our security we’ll know exactly how they did it so we can protect against it in the future. Not only do we have tools for preventing grief, we have tools for fixing it and for ensuring that griefers get brought to justice. Your homes and buildings will always be safe here!
In addition, there are several worlds here, set up so that you can play on this server in many different ways without a lot of hassle.
New players:
As a new player, you’re given a choice of running through the infamous spawn maze or warping to Eden. The maze challenges you in several game skillsets that all good players need; in reward for conquering the test you’ll receive a set of tools and essential items, to help with your next few days on the server.Eden is a giant vertical colony; the ground level is good for growing crops and trees, while players have built new levels above it to live and work in. In Eden, much like the spawn maze, you’re being tested – but this time, it’s not a test of game skills, but of how well you can get along with others. Players can leave Eden after a few days, or after they’ve proved themselves to be reasonably good at not breaking everyone else’s stuff.
Worlds
Once you’ve conquered Eden and the maze, there are more worlds to explore! We’ve got seven worlds right now. There’s a creative world for builders; a roleplay world of sky islands; a Superflat challenge world, where players must survive on resources from mineshafts floating in the sky and loot the villages and desert temples on the ground far below; a beginning world, built to test new players; a huge survival world, where players can build and explore in the classic hills and forests of Minecraft; a jail world, where bedrock cells for rulebreakers hover over an infinite sea of lava; and a world where players can adventure and explore in an area specially made to recreate a classic 8-bit game -shh, it’s a secret for VIPs only.

Presently most smp servers fall into one of two extremes, complete anarchy or too well regulated both of which can dilute the fun and lead to boredom.
