We are a legit SMP server – there are no spawned items, no WorldEdit, and a wide variety of places to call home. There is no whitelist, you can join with a cracked client, and anyone can build anywhere that isn’t protected! War of Nations is a Light Role-play minecraft server. This means you and other players are roleplaying as members of different nations(factions) , without the need to to do all the /me sits down, looks angerly towards X person bullshit. The end goal is to have us fighting eachother in friendly and competetive PvP battles in conquest over eachother.

The server is set in Europe 1400(, 15th Century) however you are allowed to create Nations from any historical time and faction. So for example you are permited to name your faction “Daneland”, “Nassau” or “Byzantine Empire”. The nation you create does not have to be from a land either, aslong as its based on a major historical faction within the land, for example “House of York” in the “War of the Roses.” You must however put your first town in the historical region of the faction you create!

Hillcrest is an SMP server with some extra features for those who are bored of typical vanilla. While the pure game is great, you have all seen it before. I have attempted to take some of my favorite plugins I have used over my Minecraft years to culminate a server experience that is fun, more complex and more rewarding than typical vanilla.
If you like pure vanilla and just the pure basics of Minecraft alone, this server probably isn’t for you. There is a huge amount of servers out there for vanilla.

Server Summary

It feels like a realm more than a server. Please apply for greylisting!

You wont be bogged down by protection plugins for large scale builds

We have avoided adding typical plugins like McMMO and rankup

World border is 15k x 15k, KeepInv is on and Difficulty is Hard

Server dynmap

200 Enchants (Thor, Beheading, Buchering, heaps of cool shit)

Slimefun (but with the super OP stuff disabled: androids, fortune 5 pics ect)

The server viewdistance is 14 (if you have a good pc like me this is magical)

Custom terrain to compliment a decent viewdistance (with a vanilla resource world)

Because we run some pretty beefy plugins, have a high viewdistance, are on hard difficulty and have no mob caps we are on a top of the line hosting plan. We run on 10gb of ram and the dedicated core of an Intel Core i9 9900k. We will be upgrading to the 5950X when it is available.

This is a Friendly Vanilla Survival community welcome to all.

There are a few but simple rules
No hacked or modded clients. (are we really that much better?)
No greifing players work/bases and or farms.
No using the nether roof to fast travel (play with in the game).
Trade scams are a bannable offence.
No zero Tick farms
