As an admin, I don’t have the patience to deal with griefing nor drama. With that, it allows us to not worry about having land protection as much, as players trust one another.
Another aspect is that my goal for the server to be community-driven. Our spawn is currently being built by our amazing builders in survival mode (no creative).
