We’re releasing the server on…

Friday, the 3rd of July at 5:00 PM EST

The post will cover all the details regarding Factions and hopefully address some concerns that came up during the beta. If you’re aware of any bugs on Factions, please private message me them on Discord and I’ll deal with them as soon as possible.

Grace will end on Friday 7/24 at 5:00 PM EST.

Worlds and Borders
I noticed that there were a lot of complaints during the beta since we didn’t have enough flat worlds. To compensate, we’ve added multiple flat worlds.

Overworld: 5k x 5k

End: 5k x 5k (Flat)

That means there’s a total of 8 corners to be claimed. The worlds are completely flat You cannot build or claim outside the border, and the “bouncy” border has been fixed. There is also a visual border at the above coordinates.

Prizes
We’re investing lots of money in to Factions, and the prize total is worth $510. $210 is cash and the other $240 is store credit. This will be distributed via weekly payouts, with the first week acting as a grace period and therefore there will be no payouts. The grace period will have explosions disabled. The map will last three weeks.

Each week, the following amounts will be paid out to all factions.

First Place: $50/week (Buycraft) and $50/week (PayPal)
Second Place: $30/week (Buycraft) and $30/week (PayPal)
Third Place: $10/week (Buycraft)
Meaning we’re giving a total of $170 out each week, for three weeks.

Our Servers:

Earth. We have a 1:1000 replica earth map on our towny server.
We also have vehicles! Bounty Hunting, Companies, CCTV, and a Dynmap of the world!
Start a town, make a nation, rule the world by force or by diplomacy.

Factions. Good old regular factions gameplay with bounty hunting and CCTV!

Creative. Gigantic player plots sized so you won’t need anymore space, if anything you’ve got too much space!

MiniGames. Custom made by our players for our players. Minigames include Connect4, Ice Racing, and TNT run so far.

There are tons of rewards to earn on the server. From player boosts and cosmetics to God grade armor and tools. VaxCoin is a special currency that is gained by voting, donating, or winning events. You can use VaxCoin in /vaxcoin:shop and purchase player boosts and cosmetics. Voting also rewards you with VoteKeys to use at /warp vote. VoteKeys reward you with other keys like Food, Block, Cash, or even God Tier Keys which have the chance of dropping rewards like Titan’s Sword (Sharpness X, Unbreaking X, Looting X, Fire Aspect V).

Hello everyone! Would you like to join an awesome vanilla server that is a mere month old? We are a smaller group and like to keep that community feeling so applications will only be open for a short period of time. We had a few folks that had to scale back playing due to IRL obligations so this is your chance! Because the server is so young you can have meaningful impact on community builds such as spawn, shopping district, nether hub, etc if you so desire. Lodestar is a semi-vanilla survival server launched in October 2020 by a group of friends looking to establish a social, relaxed, mature and, most of all, kind community of Minecraft players.

We’ve invested time and effort to build a place many people call home, and just started our 4th season mid-December. We are now looking for more active, fun loving players to continue growing our community!

Cogs, Crops, and Combat!
Welcome to Cogs, Crops, and Combat! We are a lightly-modded SMP, aiming to have a modded experience, while still maintaining the nostalgic taste that vanilla Minecraft offers. We are a Hermitcraft-esque SMP, and will have a shopping district, community events, and more. The primary mod is the Create mod (Cogs), with support from Farmers Delight (Crops), and the RPG suite of weapons mods (Combat!). We have a couple more mods thrown in as well, such as a few create addons, some additional generated structures to suite our exploration needs, the Traveler's Backpack mod, and as well as a decoration mod. Overall, it is a very well thrown together pack that encompasses several areas of the game, with automation, farming, exploration, combat, building etc.
We also have some quality of life data packs, such as one person sleep, which further enhance the Minecraft SMP experience.
We plan to have a ton of community projects, at the moment, the main project is building a rail line that will connect everyone to the shopping district!
We have a core group of 4 of us that have been friends for over 7 years, which we would love to expand to everyone that logs onto our server.
Whether you are a builder, a factory designer, an adventurer, or something in-between, this is the server for you!
