When you join our server you can jump right into action with building. When you spawn you’re already part of the city Plymouth! Join a job and start making money to buy yourself a plot in a town, or start your own town! You can also spend your money in the Player Mall at spawn to buy other player’s items or purchase a Mall Plot and sell your own items! If you buy a plot, everything is protected in that plot. No one else can build or destroy! However, be careful in the wilderness, PVP is on everywhere except in the towns and there is no block protection there either! Build and play at your own risk!

This server is a logical sequence of our earlier servers. You can find very old and new buildings, temples, castles, hotels, the best houses, parks, the Reichstag, the Great Christmas tree and the unique structures of the advanced players. If you want to build, you need to move away from the spawn round 600 cubes or leave the spawn using command blocks. There are administrators, moderators, builders, sheriffs and elves. If you do not understand anything – ask them. The server is on a separate computer with high-speed connections (http://fami-net.dlinkddns.com/mineforum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19). We are too! SGTekkit ran by a professional and experienced group of Minecraft server owners. We run the server on dedicated and powerful hardware located in a private datacenter in New York City. Interested in the exact server specifications? We run two Intel Xeon E5620 @ 3.9Ghz Quad Core CPU’s, 48 GB of DDR3 RAM, 6 SSD’s in RAID 50 configuration for integrity and speed and all of this is running on Ubuntu Server 11.10. Yeah, it’s ridiculously fast.

Although SGTekkit is nearly brand new we already have several dedicated players and are looking to expand. We pride ourselves on our friendly and helpful community. We do require approval to become a citizen for build rights, but this is part of what keeps the community so great! No one likes a griefer ruining everyone’s fun. No worries though! Our applications is simple and we getting approved usually happens within 30 minutes of posting your application.

Lavacast is an anarchy server meaning that you can hack, grief, pvp, and there are no gameplay affecting plugins. I use a free hosting service called Minehut, which will take the server offline if it is inactive for five minutes, so if you try to join while it is offline, it will take you to a lobby where you can type “/join lavacast21” to start it up and join. If that command doesn’t work after 30 seconds, try running it again.
