Short description of our community in general:

We are currently a small community only consisting of one server for the popular video game Minecraft but aspiring to grow to a large community with a variety of servers. The community was started by Xapper in October 2013 when server set up and configuration begun. Our aim is to create a community that is friendly and where everything is handled as professionally as possible. The community was founded based on a vast previous experience of handling the kitchen side of various MMO servers for others.
To ensure a professional interaction between our staff and players, our staff will receive a thorough briefing on what is expected of them and how to handle things when accepted to our team. Make no mistake though, we have strict rules and our staff will do everything in their power to see to it that disciplinary punitive actions are taken when someone decides to break the rules set in our community.

Features:

Our currently only server is configured around Towny, mcMMO, Economy and strong PVP/PVE recommendation.

You start off as a regular peasant, assigned to a default town but are encouraged to quickly either gather the necessary in-game currency to start your own town, or move in to a town another player has already started.

To accumulate currency, there are many ways: Go out and kill monsters, make pray of other players, vote and receive point store points for which you can obtain large quantities of in-game currency or simply hang about and wait for your hourly payday that increases as you rank up by killing mobs and players.

Be part of a town or start one yourself. In your town, nation or plot, you are the one who denies, commands, hangs and shoots. YOU decide what others can do on your plot, in the town your are the mayor of or in the nation you lead as a nice and just or… not so nice unjust king.

Wage wars, with other nations or towns. Pillage their properties you usually have no access to and gain currency for your town/nation by doing so.

Develop your skills by doing virtually anything in-game from digging dirt to killing mobs. A higher skill rank will give you many perks, including: Dealing more damage, Mining faster, Getting double drops from your actions AND MORE.

Join our building contests, of which there will be 2 different kinds, a smaller bi-weekly contest with adequate prizes and large monthly contests where the prizes will be substantial.

Many different events, based on community suggestions, current demand and as we see fit ourselves.

Features and different being added constantly, as our community grows – based on need, your suggestions and our own vision on how to make game-play more interesting for you.

NO overpowered VIPs. They receive benefits but nothing game breaking for the non-VIP players.

Professional staff team. We hand pick our staff members as and when we see fit based on the potential we see in a candidate we set our eyes on. After being picked for promotion, our fresh staff members will be briefed thoroughly to be sure they approach their duties with the correct mindset and know-how.

MineStory is a PvP based server with Factions, McMMO, Votifier, Lottery and even more.
In Minestory there are lots of things to do. From mining some stone to raiding bases.

What is McMMO?
McMMO is a RPG plugin which allows you to level up skills. As for example, if youre going to mine you gain levels. This will help you gather recourses even faster. We have a lot of skills active in the McMMO so there is enough to do. Youll never get bored because the max level capacity is 1000. You can even make groups so that you can share the EXP you get with friends. We also got “EXP Weekend”, that means youll receive 50% more EXP between Friday and Sunday. More reason to play.

Factions.
In our server you can establish a faction and recruit members. With this faction of yours you can make allies or enemys. If you make allies, your warfare against the enemy will be even easier. Factions knows no bounds. you can build whatever you want whenever you want. Buy land for your faction and start building.

Votifier.
We have votifier so we can reward you whenever you vote for us. The voter is being rewarded with 250EXP, 3 Diamonds, 100$ and a lottery ticket. With the lottery ticket you can win even more money.

Donations.
Ofcourse we need help to keep the server up and running. We need your donations to improve the server and set even more slots so more players can join. The more players we have, the more fun we can all have. Ofcourse you will be rewarded for donating. We have multiple ranks and other items you can buy in the MineStoryPVP Webstore. With the ranks you can claim a kit. All kits have their own cooldown time. As an example, you can claim the Coal Kit every 6 hours. Thats 4 times a day.
We even have McMMO levels that you can buy to make the leveling even easier.

Background Information:

Hidden Sands was first launched around August of 2012. The server was created for with one specific goal in mind; to create an environment where Minecraft players of all ages are able to come and enjoy themselves! Firstly our spawn was created by our hardworking Administrators. The spawn is currently complete however we are consistently adding secrets and treasures daily! Secondly we have many plugins on this server that provides players with a unique and fair environment unparalleled by other servers. The world has its own temperature
– what does that mean? The world can be hot or cold…
– by this, your character can sweat be slower or freeze to death.

Calling this a survival server would be an understatement. Rather this server acts as a way for people to experience power, loss, and greed. Kingdoms are likely to form and with them, so are alliances. Wars can break out, spying can occur and betrayals can happen.

INTENTIONS

This server will at its core be built for the players. You are free to build and conquer any area you see fit. Your medieval kingdom can stretch the whole server if time allows. If the majority of the server would like a change, there will be a vote. Admins are there to serve the players and their wants.

BASIC GUIDELINES

This server is medieval. There is no modern. Nordic, Rustic, etc.. building types are fine but nothing industrial or modern (this also means steampunk). Basically, anything that looks like it could have been built with natural materials is what we're going for. No skyscrapers or car roads. You don't have to be a master builder, it's fine, really.

War is not all-out griefing and chaos. There is a method to the madness.

When your group exceeds 5 players, you can form a kingdom. This will grant you a custom discord rank and a land claim in your desired area.

The world is 4000×4000 to encourage closer kingdoms and more interaction such as trading alliances and possibly, war.

This is a 1.20.1 and updating server, with an emphasis on fair moderation (appeals, and punishment only for true rulebreaks), extreme longevity (absolutely NO resets, you could play here for years!) and inclusivity of all people and playstyles. GREAT PERFORMANCE!

Our vanilla+ modpack with many optimisers ensures minimal client-side lag. Server-side, we have 16 gigs of ram + dedicated processor cores up to 4.8 GHz and featuring 4 vCores of a Ryzen 9 5950X CPU.

WANT BLOODSHED? WANT PEACE AND LOVE? HAVE BOTH!

The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. The Borderlands is much more resource-rich but allows griefing, killing and stealing and has no claims or graves.

We have a very special mod, the Origins mod! Along with the 9 base origins, we have roughly 61 custom origins, all carefully reviewed so that we can make sure each one is balanced, unique and well designed! You can even suggest custom origins, but it'll have to be high quality. Of course, if you don't like this mod, or don't like your current origin, you can always pick Human or use your free two changes/craft an origin change.
