Overview

Now running 1.15.2 😉

MeepWorld is a simple yet fun (mostly) vanilla minecraft server, with a very straight forward feel and friendly community of players.

The world features a small spawn village at the centre (x0,z0) with some basic facilities, including public farms, a mine, an info centre, a portal and a crafting/smelting workshop. Information on the server, plugins, rules and our community can be found in the information centre in game, so make sure to visit! The rest of the world is wilds in which to build, dotted with houses and builds here and there. You could even go ahead make a settlement, using the grief prevention plugin, which allows for land protection and claiming, plus it’s very easy to use.

The idea is that it’s super easy, fun, relaxed and simple vanilla survival in a friendly environment. To help with this, creeper explosions are disabled, fire spread and mob squishing are turned off and you keep your inventory when you die. PVP is enabled but it’s generally frowned upon if the other player doesn’t agree to it, so no randomly murdering people please.

There are no thrills or frills, no teleportation, no /home, no warps, just back to basics like in single player, except with friends to help you. It’s all about exploration, building large transport networks and working together to conquer the wilds.

Important Note

For this map/wipe/season/whatever we think it would be nice if people used roads and railways in the overworld, lived close by rather than far flung and even formed little shared towns and settlements. It would be much nicer if you could often see other builds and people around, rather than everyone living far apart and away from spawn and just using nether ice roads to get about

We have recently reset the map as every year or so our players tend to get a bit bored with their playthrough and want to change things up, we try not to do this too often and only if a majority agree to it. As for the end dimension, we do occasionally reset that to allow for new players to find unlooted cities, but the main island and any player builds are left alone, as long as you notify a staff member of their whereabouts.

*Also the nether will be reset for the upcoming 1.16 nether update so don’t get too attached

Basically just go out and have fun out in the infinite wilds of minecraftia, either playing solo or working together with friends to conquer the wilderness and build many epic creations of awesomeness. MeepWorld, it’s all about fun.

Welcome to the Vault!

The Vault offers a range of gamemodes for you to play on. With in depth plugin mechanics to ensure that you have the best and most high quality experience.

Factions:
Spawn in to a 10,000 x 10,000 survival world, where you’re armed only with your survival skills in order to build a base, forge weapons and armour, create factions and team up with your friends, and fight your enemies. In the factions world you can create factions that allow you to work together with your friends, whereby you can create bases and fight enemy factions. We’re running MassiveCore’s factions plugin, allowing for the optimal Factions Experience.

Creative:
Our creative plot world is made possible by the PlotSquared plugin and it’s complex creative plots mechanic. In the creative world the sky is literally the limit as you can claim up to two plots and build to your hearts content in this laid back creative mode.

Skyblock:
Our Skyblock gamemode spawns players on their own private floating island, where they’re tasked to utilise the resources that they are given as well as the complex economy and shop system in order to survive against other players and monsters. Our server runs the Iridium Skyblock plugin.

Build-Battle:
Build-Battle is a gamemode for 3-12 players where players vote together for a build topic and then with five minutes they must individually build a masterpiece that beats out the other players. The winner is the owner of the build with the most votes at the end of the game!

Difficulty is set to hard, which gives player the opportunity to take advantage of mobs, villagers and their farms!

Hello, MCForum users.

Our Philosophy

We aim to provide a stable, 24/7 server that upholds the values of vanilla while preserving the hard work put in by those who decide to participate. Created with the values in mind and the motivation provided from those who servers falsely advertised vanilla but rather had folders filled to the brim with plugins. We believe in providing the classic Minecraft SMP experience as the game was intended to be played, meaning no gameplay-modifying plugins, no creative mode usage by any staff whatsoever, and no world resets.

The Community

One of the key things setting The Vanilla Touch apart from other survival servers is the active, friendly, and tight-knit community, as well as the unique etiquette, playstyle, and culture of our members. Each and every build on the server was made legitimately by fellow players, entirely in survival mode. If you’re a fan of SMP YouTube series such as Hermitcraft or Mindcrack, you may be interested in The Vanilla Touch.

Only a small fraction of the world has been explored, so there is plenty of land for you to claim as your own. Feel free to join one of the few settlements that already exist, go solo, or even build an entirely new town of your own! The possibilities are infinitely vast on The Vanilla Touch.

The Vanilla Touch is a whitelisted server, so you must apply. Please do so by joining the Vanilla Touch Discord server linked below. Please mention your in-game username and leave a short explanation of why you are interested and what you have to bring to the server.

Rules

Please keep in mind that The Vanilla Touch is not an anarchy server. While we aim to keep in line with our vanilla Minecraft philosophy as much as possible, we have a set of rules put in place to ensure that players do not infringe upon others’ right to enjoy the game. These are enforced by active moderators, and they are easy to follow:

Do not mess with other players’ projects.

No griefing or stealing of others items.

No disrespect or hates speech of any kind, although swearing is allowed.

No hacking, cheating, or any third party scripts of any kind.

No PVP unless both players give consent.

Duping or major glitches not disclosed are not tolerated.

There is a single plugin installed on the server, CoreProtect. This plugin does not interfere or intrude on normal play in any circumstance. Its purpose is to ensure that transactions are logged, griefed buildings are restored to their former glory, and those responsible are held accountable for their actions.

Updates

We fully intend on updating the server as Minecraft progresses, we are ready to update the map to 1.16 and are excited for future updates!

Creative Build Discovery

Creative Build Discovery is a creative-mode server that puts an emphasis on sharing your builds with the community. Using our custom build discovery and submission system, you can earn server ranks by sharing your creations with friends. We offer both regular-sized and large-sized plots upon joining the server for the first time, so you should never run out of space for creation. Factions:
Our faction server is our main server, it is a survival based game which allows for PvP and land claiming. Each player can get up to 10 power and therefor claim 10 land. Evo SMP challenges the classic SMP meta and instead offers a unique experience

where players must evolve and adapt to the world. The core idea of Evo SMP is to challenge the usual survival multiplayer meta; instead of having all players instantly acquire tremendous wealth and automated resource farms, they must instead adapt to the different eras and evolve alongside the world – taking full advantage of their available arsenal and relying more on skill and strategy rather than stashes.

The server is divided into continuously progressing eras

each era opening a new pool of available resources and gear. The most skilled players aren't those who specialize in one type of warfare, but those who can quickly adapt and excel in any given environment. The players have absolute freedom when forging their destiny – they can form groups and factions, fight in wars over the limited resources, build ambitious cities and rise to the top. The story aspect of the server allows for special challenges and treasure hunts, which will lead to attaining special items. As an era passes, the meta changes, and the strongest are redefined. A revival of old servers, Pyrakia features unique mechanics and features across both vanilla servers and modded servers.

Pyrakia Towny

A 1.21 vanilla server. PVP is enabled, however with the Towny plugin you can control whether or not your areas have PVP on. Griefing is strictly not allowed. Towny has an 18k worldborder (+9k to -9k) and is perfect for those after a chilled out server focused on making friends and communities. Players on Towny have access to chest shops and also /jobs in order to make money and generate an economy. We use Valhalla as a replacement for MCMMO

Our owners are based in both the UK and the US; this range of timezones will contribute to a very active staff-base if any problems are to arise.

All Pyrakia servers feature custom plugins for an immersive experience. These include vote crates and a credit system for earning crates as well as ranks and other kits.

The Lore:

Welcome to a new world that was birthed from the old world Odyssia (Legioncraft RP), a mystical land you've been pulled into by a powerful group of arch mages. Where you came from is unknown, as your knowledge of the realms outside of Odyssia and the new world has vanished. Where you go however, is completely up to you. Whether you wish to become a scholar unravelling the mysteries of the world you've been pulled into, or dominate the realm as a warmongering empire, the choice is yours. Choose from several custom races, each with unique abilities and downsides. Explore multiple custom dungeons and find mystical creatures you can bring into your command. Create your own faction or join with others to stand united and surpass all the rest. The world is yours in RBR, and what you do with it is up to you.

Please keep in mind, this is a serious role play server. RP comes first, Minecraft comes second.
