Horizons is a whitelisted Semi-Vanilla server that strives to maintain a
thriving community. Our staff works non-stop providing grief/theft,
technical, and community support. We deal with issues professionally and
do not abuse our powers. Never worry about your progress being lost due
to some griefer ever again!

Horizons follows a trust system for trading, and players usually use
diamonds as money. The spawn has a few public trading post that you can
set your own trades up in, or you can make a shop with all kinds of
merchandise!

Horizons is a Semi-Vanilla server because we allow access to
commands, but we do so in a more balanced way. All commands that give
you any kind of advantage cost in-game money. Players must earn money
through playtime, chat-games, or voting.

We don’t give our donators items, and in all actuality we don’t give
anyone items. Donators however get cool commands that allow them to glow, ride pets, and chat in color!

The map resets yearly. (March 2021 will be the next reset) If you are a player who likes map resets like you find on the Hermitcraft series this server is for you! Map downloads will be available and old worlds will be hosted on an adventure mode server for players to explore old maps.

GRIEFING/STEALING – ANY destructive behavior will NOT be tolerated! You
are given ONE warning and that warning is the rules you agreed to when
you joined the server. Our wonderful staff will catch any player that
steals and/or griefs.

CHEATING – Use of any mod or a hack client such as (Nodus, and auto
clicker) that gives you an unfair advantage on the other players are NOT
allowed! If you are unsure if a mod is allowed ask! Using the world
seed to find ores or spawners is considered x-raying here and is not
allowed. Duping and Exploiting server bugs is considered cheating.

LANGUAGE – Excessive swearing; abusive, sexual, or otherwise
inappropriate language is simply not acceptable. Links to inappropriate
sites is not allowed. We have a diverse demographic on
our server, including some younger players and we intend on making this a place everyone feels comfortable.

PVP – PvP is disabled by default. To PvP use /pvp on & /pvp off.
Purposefully killing players who have not agreed to PvP is not allowed.

Pigcraft QC is a wonderful server with a rich community. We encourage people of all ages to come and take part in our server, although many of our players are 14+. We are hosted free of charge thanks to our wonderful server owner, which means any and all donations go toward improving the server and community. Ultra-Hardcore mining for 269 weeks in a row. Yippee Ki Yay, Miner Crafters.

If you die… you can earn a revive back to the Overworld by beating the weekly Sunday competition.

Sundays at 12CT there is also a special Team Competition, going now for 230 weeks now.

Current prize selections could include a revive on the persistent ultra-hardcore world, or an in-game advancement shout-out. Details in the discord channel.

Goal: Stay alive and earn the most points doing it.

Score: +1 per minute you stay alive, +1 per experience point you earn.

Examples: killing a skeleton earns 3 points, and killing the dragon earns 12,000 points.

You will start in the Spawn Ship until you are ready to enter the world.

Hold a bone block to see the server's current top scoring players.

Thinking about making a new, small minecraft server

This won't 100% be happening, just thinking about it at the moment, i've ran small servers in the past, did it consistently for 2 or 3 years (stopping around a year and a half ago) so i have some past experience. It'd be semi-vanilla, by that i just mean vanilla minecraft (as close to the latest version as i can get) with the addition of some qol plugins just to help prevent griefing, cheating, etc. (only rollback plugins and things so nothing to affect usual gameplay). I personally won't be using anything like voice chat however i can always add things like the simple voice chat plugin if that's what people want but otherwise won't be so only talking in chat is completely fine. I'd make this with the aim of having a nice, not too large, not too small community, im not afraid to remove people if i feel like they're violating this, obviously with warning beforehand, but im not afraid of "abusing my powers" if it means a better experience for everyone else even if nobody actually "broke the rules" in any way. I do ask that you only show interest in this if you will be present in the server – logging on now and again, once every few days minimum really – if work or school or restrictions only allow you a day or two a week thats fine too, and also not isolating yourself within the minecraft server itself, typically people do this due to fear of thieves, griefing etc. but with the plugins i'll add, any damage can be undone so this is nothing to worry about. Apologies for the long post, would prefer if people are around 14+, can make exceptions, if you're interested just send me a request or message on discord, ill try get back to you as soon as possible, again, just to let you know, this isn't 100% happening yet, just seeing if i can first get a group together.

Java & Bedrock Crossplay

We have added support for all versions of Java Edition after 1.17on top of that, we allow Bedrock Edition to play on the server and not just play, but in fact thrive on the server, because we have gone out our way to bridge the gaps between the editions with features like /f3, properly displayed attack cooldowns and much more. We make sure that everything we add to the server can in one way or another be used by everyone and not just a specific edition.

Tight-knit Community

Don't you ever feel like when joining large servers, everyone's so disconnectedlike they don't really care about the server they're playing on? Well, that isn't the case here! Active PvP Scene

We have included several areas for PvP, such as a PvP Arena, No Man's outside of spawn and even when being outside of the spawn area, you don't have to worry about players combat logging as we have a combat timer to specifically prevent this! The server specifically implements SMP PvP and prevents Crystal PvP in the Overworld (enabled in Nether and End) to ensure that all combat types are on an even playing field and acceptable on the server!

Envoys

Every now and then, envoys will spawn in No Man's (the area surrounding spawn). These contain very valuable loot to help you on your way through the server, but watch out, as the area is PvP enabled and people actively fight over these!

Griefing and Raiding

Ever heard the saying, "What's built, must eventually be destroyed."? We did and we think it's awesome! We do not include any build protection tools on the server, so everything that you build has a chance of being griefedthis means, you must trust your team members, you need to put effort into making sure your base is hidden from the public!

We are not just any server, I personally have put in hours, upon hours of my time making sure the server is well put together, researching on how to make things better and don't just take my word for it, we have many players who've been playing for over 4 years now. Do you think someone would stick around for that long on a bad server?
