Quick Summery:
KaNCraft – Kings and Nomads, is a Server idea I had and went ahead with despite actually having a group ready to help me do it. Essentially the idea is to make the worlds feel alive despite not many players being around(at the moment) using mods for NPC’s etc… to spawn along with numerous other creates and enemies which now spawn, an example of this would be Game of Thrones related mobs spawning such as Wights in the Winter biomes. With the ability of using modpacks I’m going to try create an interesting world for players to join, team up or fight against eachother in. See below at the bottom for a list of mods currently included on the server.

KaNCraft – Kings and Nomads is a Minecraft 12.2 Forge Modded Server with an alternative to Bukkit built in called Sponge allowing the use of plugins aswell as the numerous mods, which are to help form and bring this world alive for you, the player. Within the World of Kings and Nomads, we hope to give the player everything they need to fully immersive themselves within the world, a world which you the player can help form the Lore of the world, create your own factions and races and submit your ideas to the Discord where factions can be made official and the lore also made official to the servers world and posted to the official site. This we hope is going to allow for some creative and unique ideas to spring up on the server, allowing situations to develop between factions such as visiting eachother, trade, and even wars and raids. This all tied in with the numerous mods the possibilities within the gameworld will be endless, be it alone or with a group of friends thanks to the mudpack compiled for the server. Come across NPC structures which can sometimes rarely spawn, or even come across friendly NPC villages which you the player can increase reputation with and help grow and evolve over time. Griefing and Raiding – Pointless griefing is not allowed, it is not allowed for players to simply be wandering around looking for bases which may not be claimed or protected to be destroyed. This is unfair for the players surviving on their own and it’s not realistic.However, when it comes to raiding for example, if you’re a lone player or if you’re in a faction doing a group raid. You are allowed to take destroy walls etc… in order to gain access to a base to steal any available loot or to claim the enemy land to contest it. In regards to fires, they are allowed just once again if you’re caught randomly setting fires e.g in a forest for no purpose, or simply going from base to base using fire this is a offence.In other words, use your common sense.Raiding – When it comes to raiding, you may only attack the enemy base once a day. So, if you attack and are killed in your first attempt you must wait till the next day at roughly the same time you attacked. If you want to attack at another time of day then wait past this point to the time of day you want to attack at. This is meant to stop players simply returning right after to make attacks.Note: If you abuse /sethome within an enemy base and use this to get close again, this is also not allowed.Punishments:Jail/Timeout for either Minutes or Hours depending on offence.Ban – Depending on offence, players can and will be banned. This could be temporary or permanent.

The TotalFreedom SMP server offers a new take on what a SMP server can offer. The server’s main world is a 1:1000 scale map of the Earth. You can create a faction to claim land in the world. By recruiting members, you earn more power. The more power you have, the more land you are able to claim. The server has a live satellite map located here, where you are able to see the entirety of the world, where you are in it, and how much land you have claimed. The server has mobs that randomly spawn and drop items ranging from health boosters to earning a full set of armor to allow you to fly.

To create a new faction, type /f create . You can also join a faction by typing /f join . A member of the faction may allow you to join. Some factions you can join without an invite.

On our server, we want to deliver the cozy experience of a group of friends playing the game together. This is also why our server is whitelisted, because everything is better when you can build a bond of trust with other players, and have fun without having to worry about griefing, theft, cheating or aggression.

From what first started as a casual group of friends trying to host a small server that they can enjoy for a little while, we eventually upgraded our server and more people joined, and now in the early third season we’ve decided to open up for new player applications from the public! You can find screenshots of creations from Season 1 in the images list at the top of the page, but we don’t talk about Season 2…
What plugins/additional features do we have on Hat Gang?
We like keeping our server similar to the Vanilla Minecraft experience, so we don’t have any plugins that are over-the-top or too different to how you normally play the game. However, we do have a few changes on our server from the Vanilla features. For example, you can build freely shaped nether portals, use wood in stonecutters and craft paper from bamboo, as well as a togglable Treefeller plugin that makes trees break completely when you break one of the logs.
We also have a Creative Mode universe for building/testing with WorldEdit and creative mode whenever you feel like it using a command to go from/to the Survival mode worlds. This command also saves your last position on both universes so you can continue where you left off, as well as separate inventories for each universe!
And last but not least, we also have a plugin that connects our server chat to our Discord Server! So you can chat with players on discord while playing even when they aren’t online on the minecraft server, as well as Geyser, which allows crossplay between Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition users on our server, with support for linking accounts!

I started hosting this server a couple months back for my friends and I and it has since grown into a small community of active players, and we’d love to see even more people enjoying what we’ve built.
