Factions was my favorite game mode, but pay-to-win servers and complicated features made me quit for years. So I made Dead Factions, a server inspired by beta and pre-1.9 factions!

A balance between beta nostalgia and fast-paced gameplay.

Our server opens up to you a world that embodies the spirit of survival and at the same time is provided with numerous small masterpieces of comfort. Cutting down trees is child’s play, farmland replants automatically, and funnel sorting is intuitive via a graphical interface – these are just a few examples of the many improvements we have in store for you.

There are no limits to your creativity in our construction world! With our unique level system and carefully selected features, you don’t have to worry about griefing. As soon as you join the server, you can get started right away by securing your own area with the simple “/land claim” command. Initially, you will be given the opportunity to claim some chunks. Once you reach level 5, you can even build anywhere! Claiming is then only recommended to protect your crates or special masterpieces.

Our extensive level system includes an incredible 100 levels. Many additional commands and features are distributed on it. Level up with us just by playing! Experience is gained through a variety of activities such as fishing, monster hunting, potion brewing and more!
By the way, we don’t have “premium ranks” or other ways to invest real money in the server – everything we offer remains free and accessible to everyone!

Lands of Ethelia is a new SMP built around exploration, building, and roleplay.

Our server is NOT modded, and as such you can join without any prior install on the 1.19.4 Java client.

On our server we bring the works of Stardust Labs to every single dimension, utilizing their datapacks to greatly enhance terrain generation and variety to give our players a breathtaking experience, whether they are building their home, exploring the countryside, or marching an army.

Our server encourages roleplay, specifically between groups of players, and as such our server utlizes the Lands plugin, to not only allow you to claim land and protect it from grief, but also to form nations and interact with other nations. Since the dawn of creation, duality has played a role in all things, notably in its cycles.

The realm of Era is beset by these constant cycles, tugging back and forth between Radiance and Absence–Existence and Non-Existence. In the Age of Rot, Era has begun to feel the effects of this tug of war. The realm itself is tearing itself apart, starting first with the fallen continent of Aurus–a sundering of what all mortalkind has known to be real as the Gods finally grew tired of dealing with endless mortal war.

By the will of absence, the hunger and vices of mortals would bleed the Life-Giver and her wilderness dry. In the wake of the Mortal Ruin, an event that nearly culled all peoples — the world of progress would be buried in a salte-lined grave.

Eventually, time would take its toll on the starving, dwindling the numbers of mortals from billions to just under a mere million. Any wilderness that survived this catastrophe was either well hidden from the world or had adapted accordingly. Many creatures learned to hunt or defend against the excess of mortals at the time alongside their tainted kin.

After the ancestors of the initial fall left behind their current descendants, the hearts and minds of the majority that remain are now unscathed by absence’s first touch. Radiance took note of this. Sending its messenger Aemal to the mortal realm, he would proclaim a new land beyond the horizon — A “New Haven,” as it was named — One untouched by the ages prior. It was this divine intervention that marked the end of the Hundred-Year War. And since then, it has only been three grueling years. All migration to this promised land would not be without trial, for the Life-Giver and her children, the Titans, remain spiteful of the horrors that mortals have committed across her domain.

So no matter the journey one may take, all will have to cross the endless dangers of the rotting realm. Whether wilderness, undead, titans – or far, far worse.

Our server offers a highly freeform magic system, tons of fantasy plants, wild creatures, deep lore, and intriguing materials for all manner of hunting down, so there’s always something to do! Do you want to be a mage that is a blacksmith on the side? Or perhaps a hunter/huntress that sneaks the forests with your legendary companion, waiting for the rare creature to show up? Maybe you just want to play a mundane farmer or fisherman! We accommodate all sorts of playstyles within roleplay, and if something does not seem to fit, we help you adapt the idea to our setting.

Osria runs frequent events on the server – be it a server-wide story arc that everyone can get involved in or smaller, private events that can be requested with a group of friends. Want to help keep the island of New Haven safe? Join in one of our ongoing arcs! Need a rare creature hunted for water-proof leather gear, or an uncommon metal for that new plate of armor? Find a group ICly and make an event ticket on our discord!

We use whitelists to access our server, which can be found on our website. There you can also find our lore, which is discovered by the players as they roleplay and interact with the world!
