A Brand New 1.7.10 server that attempts to captivate the best of magic and fantasy mods in a lightweigt bundle.

We chose this version as it offers some ICONIC magic mods that simply cannot be replaced, like Witchery, Thaum 4, and Botania. We also included MineFantasy II, but gutted some of the more tedious parts of it so it’s pure casual, pure fun.

This pack puts emphasis on community and accessibility, so lightweight even a Macbook Air from 2015 could run it! Yet so packed full of content, it’d take months to fully complete.

Good morning/evening thaumaturgists in hiding.

I am proud to announce, after a year in development, the creation of the Thaumcraft Neverhood Community and its associated modpack/server. Not a day has gone by in the panoply of subreddits and many modding communities without sorrow over the passing of Thaumcraft’s prime time. Gone are the days of public and permanent dedicated Thaumcraft servers, spent are those hidden communities, drowned are the decrepit servers and ruins are all that remain of such a golden age of minecraft modding.

Until now.

It has been *quite* some time since a dedicated public Thaumcraft server has lifted its flag, and it is with incredible pride that I announce its resurgency. Enter: The Thaumcraft Neverhoods.

You see, Thaumcraft’s creator, Azanor, spent years recreating over and over Thaumcraft’s wonderful system and engine, and while the particulars changed with each version, the essentials remained the same; Essentia, Marvels, Madness. Being the ultimate magic mod with no easy competition and with a depth to chew on for years alone, Thaumcraft nurtured an addon scene of quality content and magnificently crafted environments that inspired people for decades. But Minecraft changed, over and over, and with each version, Azanor had to work harder and harder, rebuilding from the ground up ad nauseum until finally it was too much, leaving his latest version Thaumcraft 6 unfinished and incomplete from his previous creations. It would then sit there, forever untouched as Azanor retreated to his own personal demiplane. Other teams have attempted to pick up the reigns with his permission, but developer hell, small crafting budgets, and other issues have kept those groups and completion of the translation in limbo for years (though I have nothing but respect for those brave communities and modders that try).

Therefore, being a general consensus of multiple communities of the fullness and total content/inclusion/addon-scene, this modpack aims to be the **perfect** Thaumcraft experience, within the 1.7.10 version ruleset of Thaumcraft 4. Accompanying Thaumcraft and a number of the highest quality works-together addons, are additional dimensions, each selected for excellence and thoroughness of development. For such a magnificent magical system deserves an equally magnificent set of places to explore and things to do, no?

What I have here is the beta for such a magnificent endeavor, painfully coded and blood spilt to ensure compatibility with everything. Well, most everything. Sorry Optifine, it was never going to last.

Since the dawn of creation, duality has played a role in all things, notably in its cycles.

The realm of Era is beset by these constant cycles, tugging back and forth between Radiance and Absence–Existence and Non-Existence. In the Age of Rot, Era has begun to feel the effects of this tug of war. The realm itself is tearing itself apart, starting first with the fallen continent of Aurus–a sundering of what all mortalkind has known to be real as the Gods finally grew tired of dealing with endless mortal war.

By the will of absence, the hunger and vices of mortals would bleed the Life-Giver and her wilderness dry. In the wake of the Mortal Ruin, an event that nearly culled all peoples — the world of progress would be buried in a salte-lined grave.

Eventually, time would take its toll on the starving, dwindling the numbers of mortals from billions to just under a mere million. Any wilderness that survived this catastrophe was either well hidden from the world or had adapted accordingly. Many creatures learned to hunt or defend against the excess of mortals at the time alongside their tainted kin.

After the ancestors of the initial fall left behind their current descendants, the hearts and minds of the majority that remain are now unscathed by absence’s first touch. Radiance took note of this. Sending its messenger Aemal to the mortal realm, he would proclaim a new land beyond the horizon — A “New Haven,” as it was named — One untouched by the ages prior. It was this divine intervention that marked the end of the Hundred-Year War. And since then, it has only been three grueling years. All migration to this promised land would not be without trial, for the Life-Giver and her children, the Titans, remain spiteful of the horrors that mortals have committed across her domain.

So no matter the journey one may take, all will have to cross the endless dangers of the rotting realm. Whether wilderness, undead, titans – or far, far worse.

Our server offers a highly freeform magic system, tons of fantasy plants, wild creatures, deep lore, and intriguing materials for all manner of hunting down, so there’s always something to do! Do you want to be a mage that is a blacksmith on the side? Or perhaps a hunter/huntress that sneaks the forests with your legendary companion, waiting for the rare creature to show up? Maybe you just want to play a mundane farmer or fisherman! We accommodate all sorts of playstyles within roleplay, and if something does not seem to fit, we help you adapt the idea to our setting.

Osria runs frequent events on the server – be it a server-wide story arc that everyone can get involved in or smaller, private events that can be requested with a group of friends. Want to help keep the island of New Haven safe? Join in one of our ongoing arcs! Need a rare creature hunted for water-proof leather gear, or an uncommon metal for that new plate of armor? Land Protection & Griefing

If you don’t like the idea of your builds being harmed, you’ll want to join or found a town. There’s safety in numbers, and a town safegaurds your possessions.

Griefing isn’t even possible in the cities or safe areas, but open world griefing is perfectly welcome. A good rule of thumb is that anywhere you can build, you can grief. And anywhere someone else can build, they’re allowed to grief. The proper builds of players are protected within towns.

A brand new take on the survival multiplayer experience!

Alacrity offers the chance for players to play in a “hardcore” survival experience. The mobs have been increased in frequency and difficulty creating a harder experience for players. Alongside the increased difficulty. we have the opportunity for players to gain wealth using a jobs system (with a slight tweak in the amount of money gained for each job). This economy system will require time and dedication to grinding out money on the server to use in the shops. In addition to jobs and shops, players have an opportunity to complete quests to gain more wealth, as well as the potential for custom items (not available at launch).

In a week’s time, we will be launching the expansion of the server. We will be releasing the dungeons and custom items. The dungeons will offer a different survival experience. Players will be tasked with fighting numerous amounts of mobs and the occasional boss. After completion players will receive various rewards, such as custom items. Custom items will only be available by completing hard quests and dungeons. They will not be available for purchase in shops, creating a high demand and difficulty in obtaining the best items on the server.

Welcome To MobCraftOG. We are as of right now a Survival server with some extras. We have player sign shops, Shop Plots in our Market area. We have chunk claims to keep you and your stuff safe. We ultimate Timber where one swing of your axe will fell the whole tree in an instant with cool animation. Everything as of right now can be bought with in game money. You get money by killing mob and mining. We also have MCMMO. You can buy credits from the ingame shop to increase any McMMO skill that you wish to whatever level. We have Elite Mobs. Once you have Iron or Stronger Armour special mob will appear that are strong but drop reall op loot and give you good money. Along with Elite Mob we have An Advneturers Guild where you can travel to and get Quests, Increase your Elite Rank to get stronger mob for stronger loot and stonger gear. When you join the server type /discord in the chat to get an invite link and link your Minecraft name with your discord account.

Dinoz.io is a player-economy survival server operating on 1.16.3. We have multiple worlds to offer for most desired styles of game-play, such as GriefSurvival (PvP and Griefing allowed), AntiGriefSurvival (PvP allowed/no griefing), FriendlySurvival (no PvP, no griefing), and Skyblock.

In addition to survival worlds, we currently run three styles of mini-games: BuildBattle, Spleef and Paintball (a paintball style shooter game). Playing these mini-games will earn in-game currency, which we call Rupees. The server also offers player-owned shops or an auctioneer role in order for players to exchange currency and items with ease! Admins are active and always looking for new ways to improve gameplay. A recent addition to the server is the role of Pet Owner. New skins and interactions to be added soon.

Rules:
1. Plain and simple, we want people to have a good time!
2. Follow the posted rules for each of the three survival worlds: FriendlySurvival, GriefSurvival, and AntiGriefSurvival.
3. Aggressive and foul behavior will not be tolerated. Teasing is fun up to a point.
4. Don’t complain if you lost items because of failure to read the information given to you.
5. Racism and hatred are not allowed on this server. We want everyone to be able to play and have fun.
6. Don’t ask for admin or OP immediately after joining the server. It makes you look like an amateur. We may be interested in adding staff or builders in the future, but you need to play with us for a while and get to know eachother.
7. It shouldn’t need to be said, but NO CHEATING in any form! You will be punished or banned.
