Mountain Pass is a beautiful builder-community-based server dedicated to giving you the best Minecraft experience. History:
Mountain Pass has a deep history dating back to late-2012.

Eight years ago, the original idea of Mountain Pass was to be a Minecraft Towny Server without any real goal besides to have fun and maybe make some new friends. The server was opened on January 1st, 2013 (Minecraft version 1.4) and was open for four years. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people.

With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity.

However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017.

Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back. We are a server which has been through a lot over time, and we all have grown up significantly in the past eight years. We’re happy you’ve found us!

Hey! We are Pixelcraft, and we are looking for keen players to join our community!

We are most of the way through our current season, with about 3 months left to go before we start again. But still, plenty to do in that time!

We welcome anyone on any platform – even though we run on a dedicated server, console players can join with a simple workaround.

Who are we?

We are a community based, close group of players. We aim to go excessively above and beyond – rather than just building a few small houses in plains biomes, we build big bases, huge farms and amazing shops.

The multiplayer aspect of an SMP is very important to us. We help each other out, team up on large projects and just enjoy Minecraft together. We all get along – we're only here to have fun.

What do we offer?

Shopping District – On a Mushroom Island, we have a big, thriving shopping district that is the central hustle and bustle of the world!

Netherhub – We have an insane netherhub build where the four main highway tunnels meet, 170 blocks in diameter!

Spawn Village – We have a community village at spawn where you can build a quick starter base if you desire! At the start of every season, it is always a blast to base so close to everyone else as you get started up for the season.

Mods? – We stay true to a mostly vanilla experience, with a few quality of life mods and a couple features, like mob heads and mini blocks!

Community – We've formed an incredibly kind and welcoming community full of wonderful people! We host some voluntary events, such as server tours where we can have fun together as we look at what others have accomplished.

Rules – Beyond the obvious stuff (no greifing, cheating, etc) we don't have many rules – we like to promote freedom and creativity here, and our extremely kind community needs almost no moderation.

Democracy – We often leave decisions – big and small – up to the community to vote on, so everyone matters. The community is always consulted and considered on any important decisions that we make.

Season Length – We are a long-term SMP, so we like to keep our seasons around 11-14 months long. Our last season lasted roughly a year. We are 9 months into the current season.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for friendly, dedicated players willing to put a lot of time into the world, preferably with a decent amount of experience in the game.

We really value active players, this being one of the most important things to us. Of course – often life can get in the way of being online – we just are looking for people who have a long-term interest of sticking around and being invested in the server.

Any player of any playstyle, platform and background is totally welcome!

Why us?

We are aiming this project to become a full functioning world, with people made cities, cultures, religions, guilds and much more! We wanna see how far we can go from absolute 0 into creating a thriving world. We are slowly building bases, lore, experimenting with more content.

Current community

We have active admins, who help players instantly, solve issues and bugs. Content is being updated the minute updates come out. Constant testing is being performed. If you have any issue, even if its a silly death, we will always help you out.

We are restarting server in 1.21!! We are looking for people to join us from the start. Since this project is very new, the community is still small, but thats the reason why YOU could look forward to join us! Our community are mature grown ups, from all sides of the world, bonded together by the passion of playing video games together. Minecraft server information

This server is accessible to everyone who applies in our community discord. Server is on 1.21, does not require to install any mods, meaning you can log in without any issues as long as your account is valid (not cracked). UPDATE: server will be updated to 1.21 once all of our plugins will update.

Several of the plugins are: Terralith, McMMO, Economy, Blaze and caves advancement pack, Mob heads, DiscordSRV, Dynmap plugin with a claim system, Vanilla structures updated, mob heads and more! We also have roleplay guidelines, to delay endgame and increase overall fun time in game! There are people who also create custom content for the game and will launch it gradually over time, as well as make some custom things per your request, so it will never be boring!
