Faction Rules/Raiding Rules

No Roof cannons, unless the Y level of the roof is under 254.

No Phase cannons.

No Horizontal Pseudo cannons.

No Left/Right shooting cannons but are allowed to left/right shoot within the base that you have breached.

No Wall removers.

No clock or huge auto-sand comp plates.

Semi-autocannons are allowed, along with printing sand with alt accounts.

No cannons that shoot faster than once every 4 seconds, unless the barrel and shot of the cannon is at or under Y=20.

Any type of reverse cannon at any Y level which shoots faster than once every 4 seconds are not allowed.

No cannons that destroy 2 or more walls in one shot.

You cannot use multiple cannons in an attempt to bypass this rule.

A faction can only fire 1 cannon at a time while raiding a faction base or cannon box. If you want to switch cannons, you must wait 15 minutes before firing.

A faction can only raid from one side of a base at a time. If you want to switch sides, you must wait at least 15 minutes.

If a faction is caught using an illegal cannon, they will instantly receive a faction warning. (There will be no verbal warning).

Users who build an illegal cannon will receive a Violation 3 faction punishment.

If a faction is breached by an illegal cannon, the value will be stripped from the faction that used the cannon. The value will be reinstated to the faction that got raided.

Only one faction is allowed to raid a base at once. No other factions or players are allowed to be at the base being raided, besides the faction raiding and the faction being raided. Another faction may start raiding 10 minutes after the previous raid is terminated. A raid is terminated if the defenders destroy the cannon or the faction stops raiding for 15 minutes. 1 faction warning will be issued to the faction(s) that started raiding after the first faction.

Only the faction that is being raided can defend the base and help stop the raid.

Freecamming either on an alt account or main account will result in a faction warning being issued to the faction (main faction will receive a faction warning if freecam happened via an alt faction), as well as a ban punishment on the main account (if an alt account is used).

Raid claims cannot be larger than 12×12 and anti-raid claims cannot be larger than 6×6. This means that the width and length of the claims cannot exceed 12 chunks either direction (raid claims) or 6 chunks (anti-raid claims).

During the grace period, any “bitch” claims are not allowed. Afterwards, they will not be removed.

Each faction is only allowed one corner on the server. There is a total of 20 corners. You cannot claim corners on an alt account.

Insiding a faction is not allowed whatsoever. This involves joining and griefing or tping in another faction. Violators can be punished by temp ban or ban.

Whoever has the true corner in a chunk (the one that touches both border corners) gets the corner claim. Any other claims will be removed in the surrounding area, as the faction that has the true corner presides over other factions. (“Bitch” claims will only be removed during the grace period).

Base Buffers cannot be bigger than 20 chunks. You are not allowed to use other factions or alt factions to bypass this rule.

Gap bases and Gap raid boxes are not allowed (Anti-Pearl defense).

The anti-raid claims of a faction cannot act as an extended buffer, meaning that they cannot be in line of the faction’s base.

Each faction is allowed 1 raid claim per side of a buffer. You cannot use an alt faction to bypass this rule.

If you are wanting to make a base next to another base, there must be a 60 chunk gap between the end of the two buffers.

You are only allowed to have 40 Sand/Gravel/Anvil walls per side of a buffer.

You are only allowed to have 10 anti nuke walls per side of a buffer.

You are not allowed to have a raid claim on the base of your allies.

Piston regen walls are not allowed. If used, they will be removed and your faction will receive 1 faction strike.

No Regens allowed.

Max of 10 faction alts.

Giving value such as spawners or money to other factions is not allowed.

Allies cannot claim next to each other, bases must be at least 50 chunks apart.

Watering Spawners is not allowed and will be removed if reported with proof and awarded to raiding faction.

Trying to emulate those old wild west days of Minecraft.

A little-moderated server, a haven for people who like to build and evil little characters alike.
This is more of a clown-based moderation system: If it’s funny, it happens. (Well, actually just don’t use hack clients, that’s about it.)
We’re a pretty new server, and I’m *not* looking for staff, so don’t ask. Or do, maybe it’ll be funny, at least for the first time.

Pure, unadulterated survival.

Get the trees while they’re still fresh or forever fall behind.
Little to no handholding. There’s not even a spawn hub.
You spawn in a desert, by the way.

Just like Grandma used to make them, too.
Server’s scuffed as all hell. Always has been.
There is no grief protection. In fact, griefing isn’t even against the rules. (rather, lack thereof… hehe.)
The community is about as good as you’re willing to make it.

An attempt to mix cozy friend-owned SMP servers with public anarchy.
Rules are lax, good jokes are encouraged, and at the end of the day: it’s all just a game.

Server Rules:

Griefing and theft are forbidden. CoreProtect is used to enforce this.

Hacks, Xray, and glitches are forbidden. TNT, Carpet and Rail Duping are permitted.

Spam and excessive self promo in the Discord are forbidden. This includes Mic Spam.

Our Discord is active almost 24/7. Joining the voice call is not required but highly encouraged and adds a ton to the server experience. We’re a friendly bunch and always open to meeting new people.

Diverse Community:

We have players from the US, UK, Central America, etc. Everyone is treated equally(for better or worse) and nobody will care what you Identify as or why you are attracted to.

Democracy:

Almost all decisions pertaining to the server are left to a vote. Map resets, staff appointments, rule changes, etc, are all left to a vote. Feedback is always welcome and sincere feedback is taken seriously.

Free Speech:

You will not be punished for having an opinion or making a joke. Criticizing staff, the server, or others and voicing your opinion is allowed and encouraged. We don’t take things personally, provided you’re not actively causing problems. We also have a plugin dedicated to removing cryptographic signatures from players chat messages, effectively making the chat-reporting system useless on both servers.

Creative Server:

Enjoy creating Prototype builds, redstone builds with full access to game-mode commands, WorldEdit commands and more on our creative server! Build Battles and other competitions are hosted regularly as well.

Vanilla Experience:

The server runs with Minimal plugins. We use CoreProtect to mitigate griefing and theft, and a few plugins to manage lag and facilitate server management. (Nothing that will break your farms.) There’s no land claims, economy plugins, or teleports. There are Warps you may use (./warp [cardinal direction] to access the new land with the deep dark items. We also have the RealisticSeasons plugin to add some variety, but this can easily be disabled by the player.

Competent Staff:

All Staff members are over 18, Experienced, generally friendly and active in Discord VC. Mods and admins do not power trip and will be promptly removed from the staff team if they do. If you have any problems, we will solve them quickly and completely.

No P2W:

There’s no donation roles, buyable cosmetics, or microtransactions. You will never be solicited for money and categorically do not accept donations of any kind. You are welcome to boost our discord server, but the point of this server is to have fun, build and make friends, not to be profitable.

McMarmalade is an economy server. This is the initial launch. Be the first to succeed and buy the best spawn shops.
Admin shops are priced to encourage players to shop with other players instead.
Jobs give small amounts of money to add to the sold items to spawn shops.
Shop stalls can be rented for a weekly fee.
I set up the economy to be anti inflationary and be stable long term. I’m open to criticism and suggestions.

Vanilla Minecraft server. Nothing else to say. Get on and survive. I am just experimenting with server properties and configuration. There may be be small commands/plugins added in the future, but for now it is just pure vanilla Minecraft.
