* **Description**: Modembug is a hard core survival server that currently runs CraftBukkit [v1.5]. Modembug has been hosting this persistent server since May of 2011, we aspire to maintain excellent uptimes and innovative features with our custom plugins and play mechanics that compliment the out of box experience Mojang envisioned.
We have built a ranking system that will grant you access to various worlds depending on the level your player account gets to (using built in level system). This helps to alleviate grief/theft from the peaceful worlds while allowing players to go nuts in the starting worlds. All worlds have PVP allowed as long as it is a mutual fight. We have designed a plugin that allows players to set their PVP flag to true/false to indicate they are willing participants in PVP.

How the game works:

In the lobby you can choose from the teams red, blue, random or spectator. When the game starts it is your job to kill as many of the other players as you can without dying yourself. You have 3 respawns before you are OUT. When a team loses all of their players the other team wins. The is a match time limt of 15 minutes to stop long matches. You can right click with the book to enter the in-game shop or use the command system to do it. You can also left click with your snowballs to shoot faster than usual.

We are providing a Community-based, Factions, PvP, Bukkit server. As far as plugins, we have Factions, MCMMO, SkyBlock, HeadDrops, a few really nice Spleef Arenas, a challenging Obstacle Course, BattleArena PvP arenas, LWC, ranks purchasable with in-game money, and a few Mob Arenas! Advertising other servers will get you banned, as will x-ray, hacks, and anything that gives you a PvP advantage over anyone else. OakWater SMP is a Vanilla Survival City Building Minecraft Server. It’s absolutely free to join. But there have been many griefers that have joined in the past. And to stop that from happening as often, we have a server whitelist. So if you want to be able to join, then join the discord first and apply. Shortly after, you will be whitelisted. And there are some rules that need to be followed. #1: Do not grief, if you are caught doing this, you will be banned. We want to have a growing community and city, so don’t be that person to ruin what we have built. And also, do not hack. This just ruins the server. #2: Be a nice person and a respectful citizen of our great city, (OakWater City). #3: Always follow the economy on the signs in the community hub right above the rules. The economy is very important to the shopping and overall money equivalency in the server. #4: No OP auto farms like iron farms and other mob farms. This keeps the economy right. And it also keeps giving players something to work towards. SO DON’T BUILD OP AUTO FARMS! #5: No killing any villagers living in the city or living in the vicinity of the city. They are citizens too and are very useful, so don’t kill them. If you break any of these rules, you will be banned from the server. We want this server to be fun and welcoming.
