General information
The server is, first and foremost, a survival server, and most of the plugins we use are chosen with the survival player in mind.
The server’s difficulty is set to hard. This means that you will find lots of mobs and death by starvation is possible. Plan accordingly!
The server is Semi-vanilla. This means that you can expect an experience somewhat similar to vanilla Minecraft. However, certain plugins are used to create a richer player experience and make server management easier for the staff team.
There are a number of rules, which we enforce to ensure a safe, fair, and fun environment for everyone. For more information, please check the Rules section, and/or type /rules in game.
PVP, raiding, and griefing are all allowed.
Players are encouraged to protect their builds and items from raiding and griefing by claiming them using our claims system.

Client-side modification exceptions:
Modifications that are cosmetic and/or do not give you an unfair advantage over other players (Optifine, minimaps, etc.) are allowed. In general, it’s better to be safe than sorry – if you are unsure, ask the Staff!

Experium SMP
About Experium SMP:
The Experium SMP is a whitelisted 1.20 vanilla server (1.21 soon). We recently started a brand new season with a fresh world and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.
We expect to update to 1.21 very soon, but are just waiting for a few of our favorite mods/datapacks to be updated first. We already have the new blocks enabled and we have been keeping our builds within a 1500×1500 block area so that we can reset the chunks outside of that once we update to include the new trial chambers (you can still travel outside of this area). So far, we have just enjoying the early game and developing our builds around spawn, and will be going to the end for the first time this weekend.
This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.
This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. That's why I have created a simple application process that you can fill out by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. Now, here are some of the server details.
Member Requirements:
- Have Discord and be willing to voice chat with other members
- Be able to remain active
- Be an experienced and capable Minecraft player
- Have decently good Minecraft building skills

Server Rules:
- Show respect to all other members and their in game creations (There is a 0 tolerance policy for any hate speech, slurs, or disrespect towards how people identify)
- No griefing other members (know the difference between fun pranking/trolling and straight up griefing)
- No taking the resources of other members unless given permission
- No use of cheaty mods/hacks such as x-ray (things like optifine, minihud, etc. are completely okay)
- No duping of blocks/items aside from TNT
- Try to keep builds mostly lag friendly if possible and don't build lag inducing builds in common areas

Vanilla Reimagined
General Information
We love the potential of vanilla Minecraft but feel some aspects of the game have not been properly balanced to allow for vanilla to flourish. Through the use plugins and extensive player feedback we have rebalanced villager trading, Elytras, autofarms, and more. No longer is there one "right" way to play, as we have allowed for all sorts of other forms of gameplay to be valid!
Features
- We offer plot protection in four sizes for in-game currency. You have to earn them! Note: Plots intentionally do NOT protect chests – only blocks.
- We have player shop chests available to sell things to other players. Our admin shops are already set up for players to earn money.
- We have clans, which allow you to team up with existing players or make your own clan with your friends.
- The map size is limited to keep players relatively close – but it is still spacious with a 6k block diameter. [Note: Currently just 2k across while we wait for Paper to update to 1.21 next week!] The Nether has been increased in size (3:1 ratio rather than 8:1) to compensate for the smaller map.
- Donations to keep the server running are welcome, but give no in game advantages.
