Dunwater; Far from your typical Roleplay server

In a colonial fantasy setting, players inhabit a long abandoned colony, founded initially by the Dunwater Trading Company. The possibilities in the revived colony are endless. Play as an exiled human merchant, missionary, or a spellcaster, a halfling, and more. The server is starting with a low amount of initial lore in order to pave the way for player generated stories.

Fall of an Empire is a network catering to true roleplayers – Our network is made up of several worlds – Solinia – Our Main Server, Vanilla – A lawless vanilla server, Bedwars – Minigame, Creative – Plot creative server

You will discover a rich storyline, with wildly differing societies and environments. Each area in our world is alive with its own people, dark and long forgotten dungeons and an exciting storyline enjoyable from good or evil perspectives. To reach the scale of content that you would expect in an RPG world we have designed our own custom systems which has allowed thousands of npcs, 48000 spells, 16 playable and unique professions and over 160000 items.

This has allowed us to build roleplay tools straight into the system such as a full dnd style character sheet, learnable languages and dice based skillcheck systems and more! Despite the RPG gameplay, roleplay and community are why keep people coming back. With our servers long quiet history, we have not only built a community, we have built a family.

The next iteration of Kingdom is currently in development. It will be the third iteration of the Kingdom RP Community’s chain of servers. Please keep up with our development on our website at https://www.kingdomrpcommunity.com, where news is posted on a regular basis.

A tightly wrapped pea-coat. A popped collar. A hat pulled low. Fumbling for keys as the rain pelts leather back. Left- right- breast- rear! As deftly closed as it was opened, the door swings silently shut. Hat, Coat, Keys, Quiet. Only the pitter, pitter, pitter, pat out of doors and footsteps. One, two, three steps down. The familiar smell of dust and age-old pages. A nook by the high window and cushions abound. Waking soon gives way to sleep at the hands of a good book. Dreaming. Fields of hay and mushrooms. Cottages with stout chimneys. Forests, rivers, and… awake again. No… Not wake. This is not the corner host to so many long days and late nights. Pat, pat, pat… skitter. Pillows and rain has given way to meticulously hewn stones
and stale air.

“Awake at last.” A mere whisper amplified so many scores by church walls. Deafening.

Whiskers like hay. A nose akin to caps from so many stews before. Homely and stout, smoking a cigar like a stovepipe. Forest green eyes sparkling as lively as a bubbling brook.

We are a longstanding SMP with currently over a dozen active players and we are looking for more! A few players have been there since the early days, others since last year, and a few joined only recently.

Overview

Our main guideline to leave the "meta" of pure Vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server).

The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are:

GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops for trading. That means as many features from other plugins you know from other servers are absent by design and won't be added. There are two ranks "new" and "player"they do not give any benefits. You can not buy "power" for real money here and we have no adminshops. Everything on the map was build and farmed in survival.

Community

What you have read so far sounds like your cup of tea? Well then you may fit right in. Laid back rules, a close knit community, having some events from time to time, and there is always something you can help with. Staff and ohter players are usually available to help you. Need help digging? Just died far away? Raid an Ocean Monument? No problem! We also have a Hermitcraft-like shop area for players using a trade shop plugin.
Gameplay

This is supposed to feel like a vanilla server. The default currency is diamonds. This is not enforced its just what everyone uses. No warps, you have to walk, fly by Elytra, or set up infrastructure such as piston bolts or blue ice highways. You can focus on long term projects, take your time, because we NEVER RESET the map. Megabases welcome. Leave for months, pick right up where you left.
In +7 years time we built a lot of farms and infrastructure. This makes it a lot easier to get going early in the game, especially for endgame players. But fear not, there is always need for expanding upon whats already there.

The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Outside the city you can build your own base(s). You will get more claimblocks during play.
Specs & Plugins

Hosted in Germany with 128GB Ram, a Intel i9-9900k, and 1TB NVMe SSD; the server runs on Paper. Regarding updates we don't always run the latest version but we plan to update to every major release eventually. In case an update brings a big change in world generation (e.g. 1.18) we delete chunks that have been loaded less than 5 minutes. Meaning someone likely just passed by while exploring.

For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. You can allow certain or all players to build and or access chests/buttons, on your claim. It also protects your claims and the worlds surface from creepers. Then there is also a chest shop plugin. You can use iron nuggets to create villager-like trades. You can do this anywhere, but its recommended to do this in the shopping area or your claim. Harbor is a plugin which skips the night, if 20% or more players are in bed. Lastly there is one that lets you rotate Glazed Terracotta.

Additionally we have some datapacks and tweaks: Ghasts don't break blocks. You can silent mobs by naming them "silent" (undo with "unsilent"). Your 1st kill of the Enderdragon gets you an Elytra. Craftable Enchanted Golden Apples. Hermitcraft posable Armorstands. Some recipes have been tweaked (bone blocks directly from bones, recolor glass,… )

MCMMO – MCMMO, a plugin that introduces an RPG-like skill system. You can level up various skills such as mining, woodcutting, and combat, unlocking powerful abilities and perks as they progress. Compete with others , type /mctop to see where you are on the ladder board, its fresh so get playing
Mob Arena – Team up with friends or go solo to survive as many rounds as possible. Earn rewards and bragging rights as you climb the leaderboard. Ive Recreated the Call of duty zombie map aswell as nuketown , battle it out and use custom classes with preset items

Quests – Over 200 quests with rewards and questlines. Perfect to get yourself geared up and level up your skills, you also earn money from completing the quests that you can spend at the shop located at spawn or type /shop

Our server is a whitelisted SMP with a unique approach to promoting town-building and general community events. We try not to alter Minecraft's main gameplay loop, but we do have events that add flare and replayability to our server. We do not have a towny or claims plugin. xSMP’s premise is quite simple: a simple survival server with additional features to make the game less of a chore and more fun.

My philosophy is that survival doesn’t have to be difficult. You don’t *have* to race 8,000 blocks away after death to ensure you get your items before they despawn. Simply turn on KeepInventory for yourself if you’d prefer to play the game that way. And if you don’t, then leave it off as that’s the default settings.

You don’t have something? Maybe you need a Netherrite Smithing Template but don’t want to go to a Bastion to find it. That’s fine, someone may very well be auctioning one! And if you don’t have enough money for it, you can auction your own valuable materials.

Outside of the Gold Standard, this server has no centralized economy, meaning the players have complete control over the value of items and materials outside of gold. We do plan to add more fun items in the future, such as an “xray machine” which will temporarily turn nearby stone and netherrack to barriers, exposing all nearby ores for a brief moment.

As of right now the server is very barebones, and we don’t plan to make things too fancy. We prefer getting the basics done right than getting the advanced stuff all wrong.

Hi guys so I recently joined this server and there’s a really active community but there’s only one nation/ guild. The server is relatively new so there’s loads of space and we’re looking for other players to fill it up, either solo or forming guilds.

This is my first time playing an Earth SMP and I’m really enjoying it so if you’re a beginner or experienced player I think you’ll have fun.

There are events held by the owners and different mods that enhance the experience. The developers are open to suggestions in discord and are looking to improve the server all the time. You should come join as we’re building something exciting.

The AbuSMP server started off as just a Realms server with 4 friends, and later expanded to a modded Minecraft experience that we wanted to share with others. We are a very small community based in North America – and by small, I mean, very small. We are only looking to have at most 20 members.

AbuSMP continues to maintain its culture of a "SMP with the boys" type of server, and wants to instill this culture of play within new members. This is a place for you to join and relax, have fun and mess around. There are a few things you'll need to know to get started.

We are running a Fabric 1.19.2 server. We have carefully cultivated our modpack to contain many QoL changes, new and exciting features, and overall improvements to the vanilla experience. We are generally a Vanilla+ server (with a few exceptions), and any mods we add in the future will typically follow this theme.

AbuSMP is a whitelisted Vanilla+ server. We maintain a whitelist as we only want to include players on our server who will not be disruptive to the community. To join the server, all you need to do is join our discord and write a short message telling us a little about yourself, just so our staff can see you'd be a valuable member of the community!

We are just starting our new season, which makes this the perfect time to join us since everybody is just starting out again!

Features:

We are a Vanilla+ server with a growing modpack. We generally aim to add mods that improve upon the quality of life, or add new Vanilla-esque features/content to the game. Some examples of this are waypoints mods, waystones, several new Vanilla-esque ores and armor sets, etc. However, we will always ensure that our modpack does not heavily alter the Vanilla experience. The gameplay is still Vanilla Minecraft!
We have a claim and container locking system to protect against griefing. This is built in to our world map mod, which you can open by pressing M. To claim chunks, all you need to do is select the chunk in your map and press claim. This is highly customizable and supports adding your party to your claim, or allies.
We have a strict no-tolerance policy for any cheating, exploits or glitches. We intend to play the game normally and we want to progress normally.
We have a server trading market, with players being able to put up posts and trade with others. There is no economy mod, our market and economy is entirely player-based! Since we have started a new season of the server, this means there are many opportunities for our economy to change.
Since we have started a new season, this means progress has been reset. Do not worry, as we don't intend to reset the world regularly. This reset only occured as the server was largely inactive for some time, and we have mostly new players now. If you're interested in joining up and helping us to establish our communal areas and farms, this is a perfect opportunity for you.

The AussieSMP is an Australian hosted Survival server with a small community of players from around the world. The server is a whitelisted application-based server, if you would like to join you will need to use the link above. This is put in place so that players feel safe that their builds will remain intact and that we don’t have anyone who won’t fit in to the culture on the server. That being said we are always looking for new members and you are welcome to apply at any time!

The gameplay is mostly vanilla with some extra quality of life features like teleports, features that promote player trading and methods to protect from griefing.

If you are wanting to have a ‘pure vanilla’ experience, this server probably won’t be for you as it has some teleport commands and an economy backed by diamonds, but if you’re interested in that, then this server might be a good choice for you (and your friends!).

The server is hosted in Sydney, Australia, meaning if you are in Australia or New Zealand you’ll have a low latency to the server. If you are from somewhere else in the world you are also welcome to join us, just keep in mind that your latency might be a bit higher than the rest of the people on the server and players might not be active while you are on because of timezone differences.

Features:

The server is running the latest version so you can enjoy all the new features of the most recent update of Minecraft.
Many other survival servers modify various game mechanics, one of the main aims of this server is to not change too much of the Vanilla mechanics such as how entities act, villagers, terrain generation etc.
A decently sized shopping area that is filled with player created shops that promotes a feeling of community and helps players easily trade between each other. Players use diamonds as currency within these shops to trade for other items/blocks.
Getting out of spawn and into new lands is easy with the use of a random teleport command which can be accessed by right-clicking the NPC at spawn or by typing /rtp. There are also various other teleports that are made available on the server so that you can quickly get back to your base or check up on what your mates are doing.
The server has a land-claiming system that uses a golden shovel. Over time you’ll gain claim blocks that can be used in whichever server you play in, and when you’re ready you can claim your chests and builds to keep them safe from other players. This is purely an optional safeguard, many players don’t claim their land as the community doesn’t appreciate griefing so players who participate in that are very quickly filtered out of the server.
The survival server consists of multiple worlds which have plenty of new 1.20 chunks in them. If you like long-term survival worlds, the AussieSMP is for you! There are no plans to do a full reset of the main worlds ever.
The server is part of a growing network, so not only are there multiple survival worlds, there is a creative server where players can build without limits or just test their redstone contraptions.
Various external community resources such as, Automated Spectator Livestreams on the weekends, a Discord where players can find out future plans for the server or chat with other players, A wiki that has information and guides on how to use features specific to AussieSMP.
