My friend and I started a our second season of our Java Edition Minecraft SMP 'Blue Moon SMP II' a couple months ago and are seeking new players to join our community. While our rules are minimal, they are vital for maintaining the structure of our cherished community. Our SMP operates on a relaxed basis, with few limitations on activities, locations, or speech. Hence, members must exercise sound judgment across various scenarios.
Community Spirit, Amicability, and Acceptance:
Central to our server's ethos is the establishment of a vibrant, cohesive community. While I could easily implement designated areas like shopping districts and gaming zones, these spaces would lack significance without an engaged membership. We envision our SMP as a flourishing sanctuary where friendships blossom and camaraderie thrives. Interacting with fellow members is pivotal; willingness to engage and forge connections is a pivotal aspect of joining our SMP. We eschew individuals displaying antisocial or intolerant behavior. Superflat survival provides one of the most challenging gameplay experiences Minecraft has to offer, while still allowing the player to experience most of the game's content. Utilizing naturally occurring structures such as Villages, Mineshafts, Ruined Portals, Strongholds, and Pillager Outposts, players can thrive in an otherwise desolate wasteland.
Because of this, I have created a Superflat server with zero game-changing plugins and no intrusive rules. The map has been running since March 11, 2022, and thousands of players have joined and made their mark on the server. The community has grown significantly, and many have faced the challenges head-on, with bases formed and destroyed over the years. As the oldest standing vanilla superflat server, I intend to keep the server online as long as anyone is interested in playing.

Our server is also online 24/7 and you can even claim up to 4 plots as a normal player. Our farm world resets itself regularly so that you can always find enough materials. In the farm world you can also teleport randomly with /rtp and explore new areas. Our spawns and lobbies have been beautifully designed after weeks of work and our boxes are available cheaply at the beautiful spawn. Hello future friend! We have started Konohaven Season 3 for the 1.20 release! Our main focus this season will be about taking on the game of Minecraft together (community neighborhood, build projects, challenges, events). So if you are tired of playing Minecraft alone on a multiplayer server, come give us a try this season and see if we are a good fit for you!
We launched Season 3 on June 10 2023, but it is never too late to join as we plan to keep growing. Everyone can go at their own pace regardless of when they join.
Here is some basic info for our server:
- 1.20.2 Fabric (we are planning on updating to 1.21 very soon with an expanded world border)
- Server located in the Eastern US (Virginia)
- Hard Difficulty
- Fire-Tick, Enderman Griefing, and Phantoms Disabled
- Single-Player Sleep
- Mostly vanilla (no fly, tp commands, paid ranks, etc.) with some quality of life mods
- Live Map (Pl3xmap)
- Optional Simple Voice Chat mod (no mods required to join server)
- Diamond based player-run shop economy
Additional Details:
Shops – This season we will have minimal rules on shop themes or pricing of items. We welcome a friendly competitive environment. Only thing we ask of players is to keep things friendly… If there is a price war that starts to become toxic, then staff will intervene.
Events and Challenges – Plenty of events and challenges with unique rewards. (ex. Custom hats, knockback sticks.) Join us for karaoke, holiday-themed events, community build projects, and more!
Custom Models – We have custom items and hat models that require our lightweight resource pack to view, but the resource pack is absolutely not required to download.
Community Based Server – Although our focus is playing and building together this season, you are more than welcome to play on the server solo if you like. We have players located in the US, Canada, and much of Europe!

About Experium SMP:
The Experium SMP is a whitelisted 1.20 vanilla server (1.21 soon). We recently started a brand new season with a fresh world and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a long-term dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.
We expect to update to 1.21 very soon, but we are currently just waiting on the vanilla tweaks datapacks to be updated first (expected within a few days). We already have the new blocks enabled and we have been keeping our builds within a 1500×1500 block area so that we can reset the chunks outside of that once we update to include the new trial chambers (you can still travel outside of this area). There's still room a lot of room for new players to enjoy the early game.
This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.
This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. - Show respect to all other members and their in game creations (There is a 0 tolerance policy for any hate speech, slurs, or disrespect towards how people identify)
- No griefing other members (know the difference between fun pranking/trolling and straight up griefing)
- No taking the resources of other members unless given permission
- No use of cheaty mods/hacks such as x-ray (things like optifine, minihud, etc. are completely okay)
- No duping of blocks/items aside from TNT
- Try to keep builds mostly lag friendly if possible and don't build lag inducing builds in common areas
