Nuts and Bolts is a community produced Kitchen sink pack with a focus on rewarding exploration and ongoing balancing based on continuing feedback from ALL players.We have customized nearly every mod, made thousands of balance tweaks from small to large. We also have a custom mod called BBTweaks the modpack developers have created to assist in this which enables some new blood magic ritual, an in game economy system optional, additional bloodmagic and botania tweaks and an ingame guide to all the changes that have been made, listed by mod.For exploration, This pack also includes nearly 100 new unique structures compiled by the best builders we could find all with unique loot. This, combined with some tweaked worldgen ATG+extrabiomesXL makes for a very rewarding overworld exploration experience. We have customized our loot tables with nearly 1000 entries, no more bread and cobwebs for braving the nether fortress in your iron armor. Weve also greatly expanded upon galacticraft with some highly customized oregen in those dimensions. The liquid redstone lakes of Mars are a must See.The pack has been maintained and updated for nearly a year and continues to have update passes for all mods every two weeks.Balance is a very subjective term. To us, it isnt about nerfing everything, but rather finding a harmony between mods, their difficulty and what they offer. To this end weve re-balanced some magic mods as well, Botania may be a bit harder, blood magic early game a bit easier but fully automating blood a bit harder. Weve balanced some tech mods Were looking at you RFtools, Mekanism, draconic evolution and weve boosted some of the old favorites like IC2 nuclear, Buildcraft and Forestry generations to be more comparable to newer mods. All the key changes are outlined in the in-game book and are constantly re-evaluated to try and ensure the best play experience possible.If youre looking for a pack that has it all, is supported by experienced staff members, and continues to grow in response to your feedback then Nuts and Bolts is where its at.

OLIVERCRAFT – OUR HISTORY

What originally began as a for fun project amongst two brothers, OliverCraft had its early beginnings on a home server located in the heart of Florida. What started as a whitelisted place for us and our close friends to gather soon flourished and expanded beyond the capability that a single server could handle. Now, with almost our first year since going public behind us, we are still a 24/7 online 1.8.8 server, now professionally hosted, offering a wide array of excitement for our ever-growing community. We have built our server and tweaked it to perfection by listening and catering to our players suggestions and requests. With the mindset of freedom, we also do not believe in shoving a ton of rules down your throat therefore, our rules are quite simple: dont be stupid and play by the golden rule. We are a family friendly server with a close knit community.

SURVIVAL

We feature two vastly different survival worlds for our community. While one is amplified terrain, the other is more normal terrain. We feature McMMO, player jobs, diseases, admin & player shops, community post offices, malls, banks, hospitals and much more all inside of a protected town complete with player homes available for rent or purchase. We offer chest locking security and grief prevention and encourage our players to protect their belongings from those with ill intent. We have also disabled PVP in the survival worlds to discourage the types of crowds it tends to attract.

CREATIVE

Our creative plots are some of the largest in the industry today featuring both WorldEdit and VoxelSniper. These tools come with zero strings attached meaning youre free to use them at your leisure. We do not remove tools after 24 hours simply because you didnt vote for us we believe in freedom here at OliverCraft. Building contests are also a great way for you to earn extra loot and prizes.

MINIGAMES

Our minigame hub boasts a selection of more than a dozen games for you to compete in and become a master of. While PVP may be disabled in all of our worlds, we realize there may be times you need to settle a score or two so we feature one of the most exciting custom PVP minigames out there today. We also feature games such as Skyblock, TNT Run, Survival Games and much more.
