Grimm is a Minecraft SMP community focused on fantasy worldbuilding, roleplaying, and collaborative storytelling.The Grimm series (I, II, III ..) comes from the different seasons Grimm has reopened– closing its doors in the winter when people submit to their school and careers. Then, reopening in the awaiting summer.

In Grimm IV, explore relics of time and investigate cryptic mysteries that’ll lead you closer to fully uncovering the story. Players will enter a fatigued Elyssia, recovering from war and blighted by deeper scars of the past.

This is a complete mmorpg project! Almost any feature you find in classic mmorpgs is implemented with our unique design. And those features are really detailed! The world has many mysteries and wonders hidden in bizarre locations. Perhaps one of these is something seen on a daily basis. A thing so common, no one would have thought of looking at it in a different way, or perchance, even a bit closer….

But for those who found us, we are a community mainly based around art and games of all kinds especially electronic dance music. Shadows or 5h4d0w5 are followers of AvatarKage and are skilled people in the arts of defense, communication, survival, and creativity but not everyone and that’s fine too. Wearing all black with a glowing insignia, they blend perfectly within the dark night. Tho for the many outsiders who have met these people believe they operate some sort of flying machinery. However, their direct location remains completely anonymous…

This is its official Minecraft server with a hopefully future group attached to it here on PMC if approved. The community dates back from July 10th 2020 but only has approx. 80 members on the Discord nowadays with 30 others on the Facebook Group. Let’s expand it! Here are the Minecraft server’s timelines.

The server has kits, parties, ranks, chat leveling (will be synced with Discord later on), chat from MC to Discord, skills, and so much more slowly coming out!

The Minecraft server has many goals currently working on being reached including the following game modes and so much more. There is no estimation as to when this will be fully available but expected within the next couple of years.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL [BETA] (85% complete)
SMP aka survival multiplayer is a no PVP survival with the community with a planned PVP-only arena near the portal so players can challenge others for perhaps goods or simply to test their skills without the use of pro-PVP-made kits.

PVP (0% complete)
PVP aka player vs player is a dangerous place where there are areas and pro-PVP-made kits for battling each other. This game mode may also include a PVE aka player vs entity compartment for those who’d rather have a wilder fight.

Battlegrounds (0% complete)
Battlegrounds is a battle-royal-like mode with special kits and abilities to choose from before being sent to an island that consists of all 60+ Minecraft biomes. Many kits are native to certain biomes and are overpowered if used in said biome. Some in which you can send armies of mobs against your opponents to help you win the battlegrounds round. There will be a points and coins system to purchase higher-level kits.

Mini-Games (0% complete)
Not much information can be provided on this specific model as it is the least planned for as far as design go but could be anything really.

Creative (0% complete)
For artists of the community… for real tho? Mostly everyone is an artist here haha. Creative plots are spaces of a certain amount of blocks given in a cube for building your own structures for whatever purpose you may have for building them then showing them off to your friends and if you don’t have friends, I’m sure the community would appreciate to see your creative hard work.

Survival (0% complete)
Survival is an adventure mode world with enemies and bosses for you to defeat alongside, leveling up, completing quests, and raising to the max level. Currency and level here will be critical.

Parkour (0% complete)
Parkour is the newest planned mode and not much thought was put into it yet but basically you have to climb your way to the highest level possible.

Is Elden Ring better than Minecraft?

Both are great games, with each having their own qualities. We asked you which of these games you preferred, and whether you’d choose one or the other over the other.

In my eyes, Minecraft is definitely the best game of the year. However, that doesn’t mean it is without its faults. The main negative I see is that the world is never-ending, and the player can only go so far before they run out of blocks to place. The biggest issues for me is when the game gets repetitive. However, I still enjoy playing it more than other RPGs.

Elden Ring is a great classic, RPG game. The game is very challenging and will keep you interested for hours. What I like the most about the game is the fact that each level, the dungeons, are very well thought out and unique.

However, Elden Ring has some really big flaws. For example, the game has little to no control over the character. He walks or runs where ever the AI takes him. It is just unrealistic, as players have to be constantly watching over the player, and watching where he is going in order to keep the player alive. Another big flaw is that at times, the game becomes too easy. A player can just stand around and watch a monster pop up, rather than move. The game also gets very annoying when the game goes under a death loop.

I like to explore the world and try new things. I also like to survive in the wilderness, so, naturally, my first character will be bandit.

Both the knight and the mage have to be played, but, I’ll pick the bandit. I like him better because he can use a bow better unlike the knight. Also, he is good at sneaking, since his playstyle is dark.

My favorite game of the year is Minecraft. This is because it is simple to learn how to play, and even more so to understand how the game works. Also, it is a game that will keep you entertained for years. Minecraft allows for an infinite world, so there is always something to do.

Legion mining draws a focus toward the user’s experience. Primarily having steady progression through a series of in-game ranks and a “free to-win” system. With this system, anything you can purchase out of the game is purely cosmetic. Legion Mining wants every player to be able to experience the game as it was supposed to be played. Without another player being able to buy their way to the top, each user will have to compete in the global economy. The economy includes an in-game stock market, player shops, and a server market, all available to the user upon joining the game. Using the in-game currency, you can purchase in-game ranks, lottery tickets, create your town, and eventually your nation. Once you complete a variety of tasks, you will be able to rank up. Ranking up in the game grants you perks at every level. Including the ability to make your town only after a few hours. The server is split into 3 distinct areas, the earth world, the resource world, and an events arena. Using the earth world for building up your town, you will use the resource world for gathering resources. The use of the resource world for gathering resources is its primary goal, as destroying the earth’s world would cause resets to happen more frequently. However, with the resource world and a rollback system, we hope to keep the server reset free as to not disrupt anyone’s experience. Updates to the server will be made regularly, however, they are not resets, just introducing new additions such as more ranks and different types of crates. There are a series of custom-enchanted items only able to be obtained through the use of crates. To open these crates, crate keys are used. This circles back to the events, server wide events will be hosted once a month. The winner is able to obtain a Legendary Crate Key. Earning the keys can also be done through the use of quests. Legion Mining provides a multitude of opportunities for the user and we hope to see you online!

Greetings, traveler!

Today, we present to you your next adventure into Minecraft roleplay. Developed and founded by avid roleplayers such as yourself, we are happy to introduce the Isles Of Uros! A fresh new world, brimming with untold adventures and conquests, is almost ready for your arrival! Currently, we are still in development but are on our way to The Alpha release! Below is a snip-it of the overarching lore of the isles.

PROLOGUE

In Umbria, many cannot dream of a world beyond our coasts. To be frank, not many have seen the coasts in the first place. And yet, there has been talk, amongst the common folk, of land beyond the horizon; the infamous isles of Uros. Like a siren in the belly of the sea, Uros calls for those starved of the Umbria’s treasures to start a new life in its domain. However, no one has ever found concrete proof that sirens ride the waves, nor that these so-called isles of promise exist. What can be certain is that many great names were lost in its pursuit. Those who haven’t still claim to have found the isles, but turn tail the moment evidence was inquired for. To make matters worse, archeologists, who had discovered clues on ancient relics, were driven mad with contradictions and hiccups in their work. Dashed of hope of ever unburying the truth of these mystical islands, the great stories of hope and adventure, dwindled to whispers of the past.

I do wonder if there was something people overlooked; the underlying mystery of why Uros was so difficult to find. Perhaps ignorance played a role, as anyone who did get close was brushed off as jesters, and, if not that, fools. However, like a stubborn child, Uros would not give up its game of hide-and-seek for years; was it really just a matter of disbelief? Nevertheless, the secrets of the sea remained just that; secrets.

1. Thesis.
One of the most important part of any paper, including Descriptions, is your thesis. This should be a single sentence which starts off your description in a way that draws readers (and potential players) in to read the rest of your description while plastering a quick and effective “happy” image of your server into their heads.
A good way to start a thesis is just picture your server in your head and make a sentence starting with “my server is…” don’t give this sentence too much thought you want it to be what comes to mind when you think of your server. For example, lets say the server is a community based survival server where your all about making friends with every player and playing together; your sentence would be something like “my server is a community based survival server with no griefing.” it’s not the actual thesis but its good to build on.
The next step to building a strong thesis is adding a “hook”. This needs to be a way to draw readers in and make them want to read the rest of the description. This means make the thesis something that makes the server sound appealing by using more positive words and highlighting the better aspects of your server. A good thesis should be positive and to the point while not going on too long.

2. Division.
A big part of making a description nice to read is dividing it. This makes it more pleasant to read and lets people skip to the parts they are interested in. Generally you want to start it off with a paragraph describing the server and giving a nice mental picture of it, then a couple paragraphs highlighting server features like maybe one about the plugins you use and one about the owner.

3. Decoration.
Decoration is just a nice way to make the post look nicer. Add some color to the text, Highlight titles, add pictures, but make sure you keep the post clean. you want it organized and un-cluttered.

4. Putting it together.
Now just put together everything! write a nice thesis to start off the Description then build on it with a paragraph about your server and why you think players should join it add some color to the text highlight titles and keep it nicely laid out with any information you need to share clearly displayed.
