Three world-class universities, along with Canada’s premier local school system, fuel the island’s flourishing research and innovation sector. Tourists flock to the island to spend time walking the beaches, hiking the forests, exploring charming villages, and enjoying the cafes of the city.

This island is booming. Immigrants, professionals, opportunists, and tourists come to the city in droves from all over the globe.

Project PEI seeks to blend things that seem to be opposites: modern and historic, urban and rural, sustainable and prosperous. In many ways, this project is an experiment in the future of urban development.
