Toro League is both an online text-based RP and forum RP server. Roleplaying in the Toro world requires the participant to assume the role of a character and, both collaboratively and spontaneously create stories in-game. This requires players to role-play within the rules and guidelines unique to the Toro League World.
Coupled with the Pixelmon mod and Minecraft, Toro League is the setting for a fictional Pokemon world where players can role-play community development, exploration, and personal stories. Gym leaders, nurses, police officers, reporters, mayors, villains, breeders, builders, miners are only a few examples of the possibilities! Infact, if you don’t want to be a trainer, you don’t need to be, roleplay caters to those even without Pixelmon!
Who are the Rhyhorn Riders and CODEX?
The Rhyhorn Riders is Toro’s goofy antagonist group, similar to your Team Rocket grunts. They’re infamous for having a special red candy which enrages Pixelmon, and havoc for all. Unlike Team Rocket though, they don’t have seem to have a nefarious end plan, their employers, CODEX on the otherhand does.
CODEX is a rarely seen villain group, comprised of scientists. They’re the serious group, causing national trouble for Toro Citizen with their inventions.
What setting is Toro League?
Toro League features it’s own time system,where each OOC week is a new season, and each OOC month is a year. This server is set in a Pokemon universe – set apart from the games ( So no Ash Ketchums / Professor Oaks ) technology and aesthetics wise we’re somewhere closer to the 50s-60s, before Flatscreen TVs, Cellphones, Music Players, DVDs, Computers – Outside of typical Pokemon use of course!
You may describe us as retro-cool infact. Hard-boiled speech and slang can be used without batting an eye ( typically ) and we welcome Greasers, Jocks, and Pink-girls! Toro is also a progressive server & country though, so wearing anything beyond a suit 24/7 is totally acceptable (just no hoodies and headphones please) , and people are accepting of all, regardless of gender, race, sexuality and such!

You can either join a town or wander off into the survival world and setup a home somewhere!If you don’t feel like being adventurous then you can claim a plot outside of spawn.
– Self-serve protection and anti-grief:
You are given a Protection block when you join, this can be used to claim land which prevents other players placing/destroying inside the area.For extra measure, you can lock your signs, doors and chests by placing a sign on them.If you forget to protect your land and do get griefed, Keep calm and open a support ticket, One of our friendly and trained staff members will fix everything!
– Custom mobs and bosses:
Take on a new challenge with our 10 unique mobs and 4 new bosses for you to kill.Each boss has unique drops such as Speed boost gear, shield that grants bonus health, Collectable pets and chat tags!
– Keep items on death:
You will no longer lose your hours worth of mining by falling in lava or losing your items from a sneaky creeper. You keep all of your items on death.
– Good Economy with player shops:
Choose a job and earn money from doing tasks or earn money by setting up your own store!
– Chat Tags/Titles
Earn unique tags by reaching max level on jobs, Killing bosses, Buy with in-game money and taking part in annual events, there is over 75 different chat tags to be collected!
– McMMO:
Level up skills to gain extra powers or Become #1 on skills leaderboard. Your total level appears below your name so you can show off your skills.
– Earn and upgrade your own Tiered gear/weapons:
Killing Mobs in the spawn Mobarena, custom mobs and bosses around the world may drop tokens, These tokens are used to buy powerful gear and weapons. There are 3 tiers of gear/weapons to progress through.

We aim to provide a stable, 24/7 server that upholds the values of vanilla while preserving the hard work put in by those who decide to participate. Created with the values in mind and the motivation provided from those who servers falsely advertised vanilla but rather had folders filled to the brim with plugins. We believe in providing the classic Minecraft SMP experience as the game was intended to be played, meaning no gameplay-modifying plugins, no creative mode usage by any staff whatsoever, and no world resets.
The Community
One of the key things setting The Vanilla Touch apart from other survival servers is the active, friendly, and tight-knit community, as well as the unique etiquette, playstyle, and culture of our members. Each and every build on the server was made legitimately by fellow players, entirely in survival mode. If you’re a fan of SMP YouTube series such as Hermitcraft or Mindcrack, you may be interested in The Vanilla Touch.
Only a small fraction of the world has been explored, so there is plenty of land for you to claim as your own. Feel free to join one of the few settlements that already exist, go solo, or even build an entirely new town of your own! The possibilities are infinitely vast on The Vanilla Touch.

Rules
Please keep in mind that The Vanilla Touch is not an anarchy server. While we aim to keep in line with our vanilla Minecraft philosophy as much as possible, we have a set of rules put in place to ensure that players do not infringe upon others’ right to enjoy the game. These are enforced by active moderators, and they are easy to follow:
There is a single plugin installed on the server, CoreProtect. This plugin does not interfere or intrude on normal play in any circumstance. Its purpose is to ensure that transactions are logged, griefed buildings are restored to their former glory, and those responsible are held accountable for their actions.

We fully intend on updating the server as Minecraft progresses, we are ready to update the map to 1.16 and are excited for future updates!

EWG Rebirth Information
EWGR is a fan-made server based on the original EndlessWarGaming server that since no longer exists. The story of EWG Old and the lore that was created way back in Minecraft 1.4 has been reborn into a modern interpretation of what EWG meant to us as fans. We’ve grown and matured since then and want to give you a place to experience the fun that EWG was to us!

EWG (Old) Information
EWG was THE best Factions server. Originally started out as Towny but became factions and the idea behind EWG is that once a week all faction claimed territory was unprotected and you could grief, TNT, and enderpearl of the likes at your factions enemy, but only for a limited time. Once war was finished, the lands return to normal so it was very important to defend your faction on war day. If anyone from the original EWG makes it here, we’d love to catch up. Myself, JawaSlayer2, and Co-Owner, _Sodio, have since changed usernames and were formally known as chenderson2 and butterruler6 respectively.
