Xan is developing a new server that is mainly focused on competing in a factions universe. This server is not aiming to be another OP factions massive scale bucket gen 300$ rank type of deal. It is also not aiming to be a featureless and barren wasteland where there is nothing to do. It is aiming to provide an environment where mini games such as mob arena, rpg elements such as quests/dungeons/skills, and vanilla elements can all be used to steadily progress to different levels of wealthiness and power while you stake your claim in the wilderness.

Factions+Towny/Balanced Economy:
All worlds will be connected, including the towny world. Your $balance is connected between the factions worlds and towny world, but your inventories will not be. Selling items is disabled in the towny world. This means that you can freely transfer value from the factions worlds to the towny world, but not the other way. Factions worlds have a worldborder of 3500, and the towny world has a worldborder of 10000(18000wide). You can easily play on just the factions worlds or just the towny world, it doesn’t matter. The towny world will never wipe, while the factions worlds will wipe every 6 months and season prizes will be distributed.
Mutliverse: Travel between worlds using /warp or /wild with a visual gui

$$$Season Prizes$$$(Factions):
At the end of the season, currently April 30th, 2022, prizes will be distributed to top players. This includes in-game roles/titles, hall of fame entry, and cash prizes. The cash prize is currently a pool of $335. The majority of this prize will be distributed to players who hold the most “prize tokens” at the end of the season, which are non-stackable, stealable tokens that are purchasable from /shop up until the last week of the season. Tokens will not be placeable in ender chests, tokens will not be purchasable in the towny world. If you log out with more than 2 prize tokens in your inventory, those tokens except 2 will be deleted. Tokens will be submitted anytime during the last 2 days of the season by doing /submit token (amount).
OldCombatMechanics is not actually old combat, it is a hybrid between the two.
We do not require a resource pack to be downloaded on join.

R2F is a no protection raiding and pvp server with minimal administration and moderation. Today we are launching our first season! This map is guaranteed to last for at least 6 months but our current plans are to not start a new season until September 2023.
We have many qol features available such as warps, /home and /tpa commands to make the survival experience as user friendly as possible. We however do make some controversial changes to increase the value of pvp and raiding. Ender chests are disabled, totems have a 10 minute cooldown, and elytras are disabled when in combat. You can build, raid other players, make a clan and do anything you can think of! We have a brand new Discord server that can be joined by typing “/discord link” in game.
Admins at R2F pride ourselves on our off hands approach to moderation and respect you as a player. Mojang chat reporting has been disabled on our server. We are a group of individuals that just want a fun place to play survival with server resets every few major updates to keep things fresh. We hope you will join the server and have a lot of fun! The World of Eldin is not a very easy place to excel. You have the choice to just live off the land out in the wilderness, try and amass enough money to have your land protected, or go the cheaper route and buy land in a city.
Our money is iConomy based, and our virtual currency is called Trade-Bars, with Bits used as coins or change. These Trade-Bars are used to buy a multitude of items from player shops and server shops or to buy a variety of land choices for you to build on.
After purchasing a plot of land, you will earn yourself a title. Your first title will most likely be Gentry (100 wild tiles) or Villager (100 city tiles). Titles are how you get yourself known around the World of Eldin, and they each come with some server responsibilities of their own. Click on the “Player Land Table” under “Server Information” above to see more about land ranks and titles.
Griefing in Eldin is frowned upon, but if you live in the unprotected wilderness expect it. City life is so much easier. You can make money by selling certain items to shops, or to other players. Maybe even get hired to perform a job for someone. Living in a city or on any protected land will protect you and your precious items from those nasty griefers.
With time invested in our server you will soon see your small plot begin to grow into a town, flourish into a hamlet, and evolve into a great thriving empire. Ruled by YOU.
