Anno Domini: The Global Server

Anno Domini (AD for short) is a relaxed historical role-play server set in the year 1AD! This server is set on a 1:1000 scale Minecraft map of Earth with a spawn point in the land of modern-day Ethiopia where players have access to warp portals to each continent.

New players will be considered nomads until they apply for or get invited to a nation. Each nation starts off with a 3×3 chunk of land and must build their nation from the ground-up, hovels to empires. Nations claim land to expand their territory and are required to mirror the claims that their nations would have had in real life, but other land can be claimed as long as their real-life land is claimed first. These nations are able to settle disputes via organized and moderated warfare for any reason when their application for war is approved by an admin.

Players are encouraged to role-play how they would like (E.g. class structures, themed Minecraft skins, religions, and nationalism) for the pursuit of making this server a fun place to be!

Minecraft servers are bloated and ruin the fundamental gameplay mechanics of the core game. Our main server, abbreviated as OSMC, stands for Oldschool Minecraft. OSMC gives you a nostalgic experience for you to reminiscence the past. The only server mechanics added for quality of life purposes are chest, furnaces, and door protections. We want you to enjoy the game without drastically game-changing features. Every player will always be equal, and every player must survive the harsh elements of the world. The usual internet rules apply, with no abuse or harassment permitted – we’re not an anarchy server (though be on the lookout for one soon on Bedrock.)

It started initially in February 2014 as a sister community to r/teenagers, with the modern history of the community developing since February 2018. The community has established itself independent from r/teenagers in August 2019. The server population has grown quite fast with over 12,000 unique players from January 2019 to August 2019.

Spinalcraft Legacy is the original server on the Spinalcraft Network. This server has been in operation since August 2013 and features a very vanilla game play! There is an array of anti-greifing plugins on the server to keep our builds safe, and we also feature a Spinalcraft exclusive plugin for teleporting! This server’s world has not been reset, so it features rich history to explore!

We are currently playing on 1.20.4 with the 1.21 experimental snapshot features! (excluding the new trial chambers.) Having the fresh tuff blocks and extra copper additions, and more!

The ArchitectSMP is an inclusive and warm group with the aim of making a pretty world together brimming with stories, possible (super-secret) shenanigans, and amazing memories.

Our vision drives us to keep redstone use to a minimum, meaning we do have foundational rules to keep farming to a relaxed level of use.

We are looking for individuals who must be 21 years or older, preferably from the American or European time zones. Whether you're a seasoned builder or just branching out, you'll find a welcoming community of Architects from all walks of life who are always willing to join in, collaborate, and talk.
